He graduated in English Literature from Southampton University. He is a
founder-member of Ratskins Theatre Company. He was nominated 'Best
Playwright' by the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle 1993 for his
co-authored (with Richard Crowe) play "Cock & Bull Story". His first
solo play "Infidelities" was winner of the 1990 West London Playwriting
Competition and was published by Nick Hern Books. He was nominated Best
Playwright for the Charrington Fringe Awards He was winner of T.A.P.S
Writer of the Year Award 93/94'. His play Rage, commissioned and
produced by the Bush Theatre in 1994 was subsequently produced in New
York. The Bush then commissioned and produced a second play Dogs
Barking which premiered in May 1999 and has been published by Faber &
Faber.
