'The Big Reunion' bands are planning to hide alcohol from Lee Ryan following his meltdown earlier this year. 5th Story, Damage, A1 and 3T are set to join forces with Blue, 911 and Five for The Big Reunion - The Boy Band Tour in October, but the groups are worried that too much boozing in front of the 31-year-old singer could send him off the rails again. Adam Rickitt - who is a member of super-group 5th Story - told The Sun newspaper: ''He's had an awful time but he's handled himself so well. ''I'll still have a drink but I'll be...

We're feeling a little bereft. The Big Reunion has come to an end - though at least it was with a bang! The show went out in style with the much-trailed Hammersmith gig and now it's time to pack up our trouser skirts, heart glitter and gel pens and get back to our adult lives (well, as adult as we get anyway.) But at least the last hurrah was a good'un - here's what we noticed from the last episode of The Big Reunion's second series...
1. Kian Egan has a filthy mouth.
"Hear'Say, kiss my arse." Kian. We expected better from a former Westlife member from Westlife.
2. Andi Peters' voiceover just got even more ridiculous.
It started reasonably enough, with talk of clutching crocheted Adam Rickitt dolls to our bosoms, which we related to, obviously. Then it just got silly: "Jade is wearing a hat." Then it got...

Andi Peters has revealed that he would love the Spice Girls to get back together on The Big Reunion.
Peters - who provides the show's funny voiceover - told Digital Spy that he has quite a list of groups he'd be keen to see if the series returns for a third time.
"I'd love Mis-Teeq to do it, but Alesha [Dixon] I'm sure won't do it," he said. "S Club 7 would be great - they'd have a lot of stories to tell."
Peters acknowledged that it is hard to reunite bands with a "big standout star", adding: "Isn't there a rumour that the Spice Girls are going to get back together but without Victoria? I'm not sure it works, all these band things, without one member. But then we did it with 5ive without J. And it was fine."

Jodi Albert has responded to Natasha Hamilton's criticism about The Big Reunion staging a boyband-only tour.
Boybands including 5ive, Blue, 911, A1, 3T, 5th Story and Damage will embark on a 13-date tour across the UK in October.
Big Reunion Jodi Albert's blog: Skipping rehearsals, Kavana & tattoos
Hamilton accused the tour organisers of gender inequality, and said that she felt for the girl groups on this year's series - Eternal and Girl Thing.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Albert said: "I'll just leave her at it. She can do whatever she wants. I'm ok."
The Girl Thing singer added: "The original plan was to have a boyband tour, see how well that does, and then they'd put on a girlband tour, but it's a business decision at the end of the day.
"Boybands always do sell more. I completely get it, it makes sense. If there's public demand for [a girlband tour], they'll put one on.

'The Big Reunion' girl bands could be in line for their own tour after being snubbed from the upcoming boy band tour. 5ive singer Scott Robinson claims bands including Atomic Kitten, Girl Thing and Eternal may embark on their own tour following news that concert promoters have decided to cash in on strong ticket sales among women by launching a tour solely featuring boy bands such as Blue, 5ive, 3T, Damage, A1 and 5th Story. The Big Reunion is on tour again, but this time it's a lads only affair, with 5ive, Blue, 911, Damage, 5th Story, 3T and A1 heading to an arena near you in October.
Digital Spy got on the phone with 5ive's Sean Conlon and Scott Robinson, and Anthony Costa, Simon Webbe and Lee Ryan of Blue, and quizzed them all about it.
"On the first tour there was a little bit of healthy competition, a little bit of banter. Who's going to play where... who's going to open, who's going to close," Conlon said when asked if there had been a running order squabble fest.
"But we never expected to play arenas again, so this is just a bonus really. I think nobody's bothered anymore, we just want to get on tour, have some fun and just have a great laugh.
"Blue are a little bit later, but we're all bands from the '90s.

Natasha Hamilton has hit out at the decision to stage a boyband-only tour for The Big Reunion.
Yesterday (March 20), it was announced that boybands from both series of the ITV2 show will be heading out on tour later this year.
5ive, Blue, 911, A1, 3T, 5th Story and Damage will embark on a 13-date tour across the UK in October.
However, girl groups featured on the show will not be part of the tour, including Hamilton's Atomic Kitten, who appeared on The Big Reunion last year.
Speaking on Twitter, Hamilton accused the tour organisers of gender inequality, and said that she felt for the girl groups on this year's series - Eternal and Girl Thing.

We thought the stressful part of The Big Reunion was over, but we were wrong. Sure, everyone's got their hideously awkward meetings out of the way, and the rehearsals started out all friendly, but it was only a matter of time before the nerves began to kick in - with intense results. Read on to find out what we found out from this episode, which focused on rehearsals for the all-important Hammersmith gig...
1. Damage might seem smooth, but their dancing needed some serious work.
"It was just a bit of a shambles." Those are Jade's words, not ours - though frankly, if he hadn't said it, we would have done. Yes, Noel can pull out a backflip. But there was some serious awkward shuffling going on. "Rahs used to be the main dancer," Jade snarked. "I Still Am," Rahs yelled, later admitting that he'd "completely destroyed" the image of himself as a smooth mover.

Michelle Heaton has said that she doesn't think The Big Reunion is a good platform for relaunching a pop career.
The Liberty X singer said that while every act "has their own incentive" in mind for entering the ITV2 show - with the likes of Atomic Kitten and B*Witched recording new music after appearing last year - she knew it wouldn't come to much.
Asked by Digital Spy if she thinks Big Reunion acts - which this year include Eternal and A1 - have a reasonable chance of finding success again, Heaton replied: "No. I think it was just a chance to celebrate what we all love to do and a chance to get on-stage.
"I think that everybody has their own incentive for why they want to do The Big Reunion, but for Liberty X it was just to do what we loved one more time.

We thought Girl Thing's reunion was tense enough - and then we saw Damage's huge meeting on this week's episode of The Big Reunion! Luckily, Jodi Albert is blogging for Digital Spy about the show, so read on to see what she thought of the boys, 5th Story's terrible dancing and whether Eternal really are the divas they were painted as...
"I had a feeling that obviously they'd have to tone down the old Girl Thing drama this week! But it was actually pretty full on! It was icy, wasn't it? I literally knew nothing about the reason Coreé wasn't taking part before last night. At the point where we actually started rehearsing together, we were already so far down the line that we hadn't gone into each other's stories. So I knew Coreé wasn't there, but I didn't realise they'd attempted a whole sit-down with him. It was a bit mad,...

It took us forever to recover from Girl Thing's so-tense-it-almost-snapped meeting on last week's Big Reunion, and now we have to deal with Damage's excruciating meet-up! Luckily, we also got lots of Kenzie's frankly terrible dancing and even some catty moments from the all-group rehearsal, so read on to find out what we learned from this episode...
1. Kenzie is a terrible dancer.
Yes, we kind of mentioned this already. But seriously, did you see him? In 5th Story's first rehearsals, he announced that he is "good at staging - walking and that". "Walking?" choreographer Paul Domaine repeated, deadpan, wondering what he'd got himself into. Kenzie did a little awkward shuffle thing which made us fall in love a little bit. To be fair to him, Blazin' Squad were hardly known for their complex dance routines, but after seeing this we're surprised Kenzie can even put one foot...

Well, that was intense. If it wasn't Girl Thing at each other's throats in Ireland or Kavana 'not putting the effort in' at 5th Story's studio sessions, it all got a bit heated in Big Reunion land - we needed at least three cuppas to handle the drama. But we survived, and we're all a bit more knowledgeable - here's what we learned from this week's episode...
1. Jodi Albert agreed to host Girl Thing's reunion at the Irish mansion she shares with Kian Egan.
Honestly, what was she thinking? How those tasteful sofas escaped without blood splatter, we'll never know. On the other hand, maybe it's because almost the first thing Jodi said to Linzi when seeing her for the first time in 13 years was that she had to take her shoes off or Kian would kill them.
2. Everyone in Girl Thing was terrified about the reunion.
"I'm s**ting myself,...

The Big Reunion was a family affair this week, as '90s group 3T talked about the good, the bad and the tragic times they went through as members of the Jackson clan. Their story struck a chord with married mother-of-one and Girl Thing member Jodi Albert, who's been blogging about her time on the show exclusively for DS. Read on for her thoughts on Jackson family life, cheeky comparisons to the King of Pop and the prospect of being fired by fax like Eternal's Kéllé Bryan...
"First of all, I thought Andi Peters' jibe about Girl Thing not bothering Michael Jackson's record sales was hilarious. You can't take it too seriously - I think that's what makes The Big Reunion good. All of the bands at some point or another didn't end up working and you've got to be able to take it on the chin.

There's just one band left to meet properly on The Big Reunion - yes, it's time for 3T to step up to the plate with talk of their aunt's nipples, being a Jackson and intense games of Pictionary. As if that wasn't enough, this episode also saw Eternal and A1 meeting up again, so it was packed full of juice. Read on to find out what we learned from the instalment...
1. 3T really were properly successful back in the day.
Yes, yes, they had the Jackson connection, but seriously - in 1996 they were ranked second only to the Spice Girls as the biggest-selling group in Europe. That's intense. Of course, it basically ran in their veins, and there was super cute home video footage of them as children having a go at the old music thing.

A video clip from the next episode of The Big Reunion has been released.
The fourth instalment in the show's series focuses on 3T and Eternal, with 3T having a final family get-together before coming to the UK, and Eternal meeting for the first time in years.
American band 3T are made up of Taj, Tj and Tarrall Jackson, the nephews of Michael Jackson. They are shown playing a game of Pictionary before flying over to take part in The Big Reunion.
Eternal, who are taking part in the show without member Louise Redknapp, were also filmed talking through their differences.
The girls discuss the moment they sacked member Kelle Bryan by fax and how they weren't communicating as a band.
Other bands taking part in the show are A1, Girl Thing and Damage as well as supergroup 5th Story consisting of Kenzie, Dane Bowers, Adam Rickitt, Kavana and Gareth Gates.

3T have opened up about the demise of their career as a vocal group.
The Big Reunion stars - consisting of Taj, Taryll and Tj Jackson - told ITV's Lorraine that things outside of their control led to a halt in their music career, following success in the mid-1990s.
"It was just more politics and things that prevented us to continue our career," said Tarryll.
Taj added that "outside forces" were to blame for the group not performing despite never splitting up.
Tj - who is co-guardian to their late uncle Michael Jackson's children - said: "Things in life got in the way so we went back to make sure our lives were in order before we continued our career."
The brothers also opened up about the death of their uncle in 2009, and how Tj became co-guardian to Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket.

Suzanne Shaw has revealed that she and Myleene Klass have been helping Big Reunion stars Girl Thing perfect the vocals to 'Pure and Simple' - the song allegedly stolen for their former group Hear'Say.
Girl Thing member Linzi Martin claimed on the ITV2 show that she co-wrote the verses for Hear'Say's breakout hit and recorded backing vocals, a claim backed up by bandmate Jodi Albert in her blog for Digital Spy and Klass herself on Twitter.
Speaking to DS, Shaw - who exited Dancing on Ice this week - said that she wants Girl Thing to have a hit with the song that launched her career.
She revealed: "It's funny, because the vocal coach from The Big Reunion said... 'I'm about to go in with Girl Things to do the harmonies - we're struggling. Where did you place your harmonies?' So Myleene and I racked our brains... and we were helping them out.

Since we grew up surrounded by Top of the Pops and Smash Hits magazines, we were always going to be pretty happy with the lineup for series two of The Big Reunion. While others moaned about the lack of big names, we were chuffed. 3T? Check. Damage? Yep, remember them. Eternal? Obviously. A1? Well, we were a bit old for them, but then Ben was adorable on Big Brother. Brand new supergroup 5th Story? Our karaoke dreams made a reality.
But even we were left scratching our heads when Girl Thing were announced. Sure, we remember them vaguely trying to be a hit; we remember their one big song 'Last One Standing' in the sense that if someone hummed it we might have some kind of recollection. We know Jodi Albert, of course. But were Girl Thing really going to hit the nostalgic value of series one of The Big Reunion?...

The Spice Girls? Pah, too cheesy. Girls Aloud? Hah, they came from a reality show. If you want vintage British girl power pop, the original masters were Easther, Vernie, Kelle and Louise. Sadly, Mrs Redknapp isn't involved in the reunion, but we're still keeping our fingers crossed for a BeBe Winans cameo.

Coolio became the eighth person to enter Ultimate Big Brother tonight.
The American rap star finished third in the 2009 series of Celebrity Big Brother and starred alongside fellow Americans La Toya Jackson and Verne Troyer. He returned tonight to join his old pal Ulrika Johnson in the house.
Coolio is best remembered for making Michelle Heaton repeatedly cry, by suggesting that she was dating Ben Adams….we loved him for that!

Glamour model Sam Grierson will make her TV debut on this year’s X Factor as part of girl group Husstle, but it won’t be the first time that she has rubbed shoulders with the stars.
The busty singer, who first auditioned with girl band Dice, hit the headlines last spring when she joined Jack Tweed for a romp, just weeks after his wife Jade Goody died.
She met the sleazy star at Essex nightclub Faces and joined two other girls for a private party at his home. At the time Sam, a former Miss Middlesbrough and Miss Nuts Babe 2008, said:
“Jack suckers you in and makes you feel like you’re special.
“Before I knew it, we were kissing openly in front of everyone.
“He didn’t seem like a man who had recently lost his wife.
“He certainly never mentioned Jade once and there were no photos up of her.

The New Year welcomes the return of Celebrity Big Brother to Channel 4 for one final fling of celebrity voyeurism. Hawkeyed viewers may have seen glimpses of the fiery eye logo on Channel 4 this week but the full trailer has not yet been revealed until now.
The trailer is markedly different from previous years, not only is the flaming eye based on a real eye for the first time since the very first Big Brother series but also the iconic theme tune which accompanies the trailer has had a dramatic orchestral overhaul. Dark and foreboding to start with the music climaxes in a familiar theatrical frenzy suggesting this series is going to get truly explosive. The show is being billed as Celebrity Big Brother – ‘Hell Lies in Others’ and by the look of the trailer, which will premiere on Channel 4 this Sunday, Big Brother clearly has some fiery plans in store...

You know this whole thing about her being linked to Peter Andre? Well, if that happened I'd be really happy, because he seems like good news. I'd be a pageboy at that wedding. X Factor winner Alexandra Burke is "living in fear" following an altercation with her ex-boyfriend, according to a report. The 20-year-old singer was horrified when her former partner Russell Brooks arrived at her North London flat in the early hours of Wednesday morning, the News Of The World claims. "Alex split up with Russell in September, just before things heated up with The X Factor," a source told the newspaper. "He certainly was not over her at the time and still isn't now.
