Steve Carell surprised viewers and presenter Laura Tobin when he gatecrashed a weather update on ITV's Daybreak this morning (December 11).
The Anchorman actor walked in during the forecast and stood in front of the weather map before offering Tobin some advice.
We amuse ourselves with clips of other celebrities who've tried their hands at hosting the weather - from Prince Charles to Mark Wahlberg - below:
Tom Hanks
Tom Hanks could cheer any cold, grey morning with this dance-filled forecast. The actor was promoting Larry Crowne on a Spanish TV programme back in 2010, and when inevitably asked questions in Spanish which he didn't understand, he performed a little dance instead.
The next thing Hanks knew, he was presenting the weather forecast and dancing A Lot. We have no idea what's going on, and neither does Hanks.

A Surge in sales of DVD and Blu-ray titles in the run-up to Christmas, boosted by British talent, brought 2011 to a more cheerful end for retailers.
Figures just released by the British Video Association show that "physical video entertainment sales" (that's DVDs and Blu-ray discs) in December were up 8.4 per cent in value to £473.3 million on the same period last year, as highly anticipated hit titles were released in time for the festive season.
Christmas is traditionally the most important time of year for home entertainment products and in 2011, December represented 23 per cent of the year's total physical sales, the best performance since December 2003, when it represented 23.1 per cent.
For the first time, British titles featuring popular homegrown talent such as Harry Potter, Inbetweeners, The King's Speech, Pirates of the Caribbean, Paul and Peter Kay dominated December disc sales and also the Top 10 chart for the whole of 2011, representing 80 per...

Sources say that the show's newly-appointed editor Ian Rumsey is in favour of the cull, as are ITV's director of television Peter Fincham and the network's daytime controller Alison Sharman. A GMTV insider commented: "Quite honestly, everyone is running scared. Nobody (more)...

Gerard Butler swapped his role as a Hollywood actor for weather man during a trip to London on Monday.
The Scottish actor was appearing on British early morning television show GMTV when he surprised resident weathergirl Clare Nasir by taking over the the day's forecast.
Butler attempted to read out the weather report while trying to point at the correct parts of a U.K. map using a prompter, but failed miserably.
When Nasir prompted him to then inform the viewers of the temperature across the country, he began guessing what he thought it would be, saying, "Temperatures will be lower, I'm guessing now. I imagine it will be lower in the north and warmer in the south. Oh, that's a surprise, 19 (degrees celsius in the south) then 21 (degrees celsius) when you go up and 22 (degrees celsius) in the south east coast and yeah... that's the weather for today."...

Talk about your hot forecasts. During a promotional appearance Monday on the London morning show GMTV, Gerard Butler took a break from plugging The Ugly Truth—along with having to address the never-ending rumors of him and Jennifer Aniston doing the deed—to test out his skills as a meteorologist... While taking the reigns from resident weather gal Clare Nasir, the sexy Scot stumbled a bit in his delivery, but that just made it all the more charming. Of course, that isn't too hard for a guy who manages to pull off such things as picking, licking and yawning with a certain degree of aplomb, right?...
