- Member of Howard Stern's Wack Pack.
- Appeared in an anti-drug TV commercial to show the dangers of drug use.
- Frequent guest on Howard Stern's radio show.
- Half a side of his body was paralyzed because he was abusing crack cocaine. When Howard Stern learned this he dubbed him, "Crackhead Bob".
- Resembles character-actor tough guy Irwin Keys.
- There has been debate about what made George speak the way he did. Of course the main one was former crack abuse, but also that he had Cerebral Palsy.
- He couldn't say a number without counting up to that number. For example, once on the Howard Stern show, he (Bob) was saying his daughter's age. Instead of saying "15" he had to count up to 15. Stern then quipped (perhaps written by then-writer Jackie Martling) that he'll never ask Bob what the temperature is.
- His real name is George. Crackhead Bob was initially just a nickname before he became a regular guest on the show. But it turns out, he couldn't say the name George easily, but he could say Bob. So Howard Stern gave that as a reason for the name change.
