After terrorists flew commercial airliners into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, killing more than 3,000 people, many of the producers of entertainment media we hold dear realized some changes needed to be made. So in the wake of that disaster, these movies, TV shows and video games were all changed in some way to reflect that post-9/11 reality.
