- Her great grandpa was David M. Kennedy, Secretary of Treasury for Nixon.
- Her aunt Faune was one of her best friend's and died from multiple myeloma in 2014.
- Sang backgrounds with Evan Ross and they opened for Diana Ross at the Hollywood Bowl. The performance was featured on E!.
- First professional singing gig was at The Lee Greenwood Theatre in Pigeon Forge, TN where she performed 9 shows a week to a 1,700 seat theatre.
- Her paternal grandmother was French from Strausbourg and her dying wish was for Summer to learn French. She lived in Paris for 9 months where she picked up French singing in underground cabarets.
- An American of mixed heritage. 5/16ths English, 1/16th Scottish, 1/16th Swiss & 1/16th Danish from her mother. 1/4 French & 1/4 Jewish from her father. Her English Grandfather was proud to say that Summer was more English, like him, than any other heritage. Summer was very close to her grandfather who passed away in 2017 at 93 years old. His last word was, "Super".
- Sang at the famous, "Aux Trois Mailletz" in Saint Michel. The same Cabaret where Nina Simone sang for a year.
- Summer's father died from a motorcycle accident in 2009 at age 55 after 12 days in a coma. His death devastated the family. Summer and her dad performed "Via Dolorosa" together one month earlier at church. She requested they book a studio that week so he could record his original compositions. He said, "next time". She now lives her life as if there is no tomorrow but it took many years to overcome the depression his death triggered. She Inherited his Yamaha C2 Grand piano which she keeps in a studio in Woodland Hills, CA and is featured in her music video, "Dear Summer".
- Recorded an specialty album called, "Summer in Paris" in French and English in 2017. She remade classic covers and wrote original songs for the album set to be released in 2018.
- She sang background vocals for Halsey at the MTV Movie Awards.
- Spent a couple months in Israel with her uncle Daniel Rona's family, an Israeli, American, Jewish, Mormon tour guide.
- Sang with Stevie Wonder at The House Full of Toys Benefit Concert at The Nokia theatre as a a choir soloist.
- A Jewish, Mormon, Buddhist, Hippy, she believes there is good and "God" in all faiths.
- Favorite type of music is Motown, Soul, R&B and her favorite band growing up was Jackson 5.
- Her mom and dad met in a band in the late 70's. They had 2 songs on the local radio. Her dad was a classically trained pianist practicing 6 hours a day since he was 6. Her mom started singing at 18 and her voice likened Karen Carpenter. Her parents were compared to Captain and Tennille.
- Wrote her first song when she was 2 and still has the recording. Written over 1500 songs and they keep coming. Never had writers block.
- Has 2 sisters and 2 brothers. 10 nephews and 2 nieces.
- Doesn't smoke or drink.
- She worked at Fox 17 as the Morning Show Commercial Producer. She created and produced over 80 commercials a month for a year and a half.
- Sang the duet, "I'll Be There" with Jermaine Jackson in 2010 at Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas.
- She was the hired singer at the Armenian wedding that Marroon Five crashed for their music video, "Sugar".
- She released a very personal music video called, "Dear Summer" with hip hop artist Antix. It tells the true story of her husband's relapse, imprisonment and their eventual divorce.
- She wrote the theme song for The Long Beach Rescue Mission, "Believe in a Miracle" with Swedish writer, Lars Jansson Kilman and motivational speaker and author, Christopher Kai.
- Selected as one of the Hot 100 Live Unsigned Artists and bands in the Music Connection Magazine.
- She won the Grand prize of $5,000 on ourstage.com for her song, "Soul Static". There were over 13,000 entries.
- She was head cheerleader choreographer in high school.
- She sings in 6 languages. French, Spanish, Hebrew, Farsi, Italian and English.
- Attended MTSU (Middle Tennessee University) on a scholastic scholarship where she majored in Recording Industry and minored in Music Business.
- She was married to her high school sweetheart for 7 years.
- She was asked to write an original song for Michael Costello's Finale Runway show for Project Runway. No producers were available that night so she produced it herself using Logic Pro. It played in front of 4,000 people at the Lincoln Center in New York City for Project Runway.
- She taught the High school Summer Camp at AMDA (The American Musical and Dramatic Academy) in Hollywood. Was brought on to teach piano, cabaret and The History of Musical Theatre at the college conservatory.
