It’s Monday so you know what that means, it’s time for our weekly review of Aew: Rampage! This week’s show aired straight after Collision on Saturday night and, like that show, emanated from Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Candaa. This show featured Tony Schiavone, Nigel McGuinness and Matt Menard on commentary. Now let’s get to the review…
Match #1: Trent Beretta def. Dalton Castle The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Castle threw Trent to the mat with a gut wrench. Dalton cracked Trent with a running knee strike, knocking Trent off the apron to the floor. Trent spiked Dalton with a draping Ddt on the apron. Trent and Dalton collided into one another with lariats, both falling to the mat from the impact of the double clotheslines. Dalton Castle slammed Trent to the mat with a gut wrench suplex. Trent fired back with a piledriver for a near fall.

Collision kicked off with the “Cope Open”! Copeland whipped Moriarty into the turnbuckles. Copeland clubbed Lee with forearms. Copeland swept out Lee’s legs. Moriarty wrenched Copeland’s arm over the top rope and followed up with a dropkick. Moriarty went for the Border City Stretch. Copeland powered himself to the ropes, reaching out and grabbing the bottom rope, forcing the ref to break the hold. Moriarty climbed to the top turnbuckle, but Copeland knocked Moriarty off balance. Anthony Henry blindsided Darby before the match began. Sting pursued Henry, but Jd Drake tried to hit Sting in the back with a chair. Anthony Henry swept out Darby’s legs on the apron. After wiping out Sting, Henry splashed Darby against the barricade. Fox attacked Swerve as the show was coming onto the air. They brawled onto the ramp. Ar Fox jumped off the stage and landed on Swerve with a crossbody press! Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which this week features nine matches and is once again filmed at the Dark studios in Orlando, Florida rather than coming from on the road… Anyway, on with the review.
Match #1: Ar Fox & Top Flight def. The Wingmen
My Thoughts: What’s this? The Wingmen in a decent match shocker! I know that’s hard to believe given how they’ve been booked in forever… but it looks like the were given a chance to shine against Top Flight and Ar Fox, who also managed to draw out decent wrestling from the normally-comedic team. Surprising but superb start to this week’s show.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5 Match #2: Red Velvet def. Sofia Castillo

Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which features seven matches on the card And is the 100th episode of the show… however we get no celebration, no rejoicing, just another YouTube show with regulars Paul Wight and Matt Menard on commentary, joined once again by Roh’s Ian Riccaboni. So let’s get into the review!
Match #1: Red Velvet def. Billie Starkz
My Thoughts: What a cracking start to this week’s Elevation. Red Velvet and Billie Starkz put on a great competitive match that made Bille Starkz look good in defeat and was a great showcase for Red Velvet – who’s surely going to be the one to, given recent events, dethrone Jade Cargill? Loved this one.

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which this week features eight matches and takes us back to the typical Dark studio setting rather than coming from on the road… Anyway, on with the review.
Match #1: Britt Baker def. Billie Starkz
My Thoughts: This was a fantastic opening match, with Billie Starkz giving Britt Baker a decent run, almost getting the win with a super-close pinfall attempt. Starkz even made Baker bleed! Apparently this was filmed a while ago, which takes some of the momentum out of the finished product but still, I really enjoyed this one.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Dark Order def. Baliyan Akki, Marcus Kross & Vary Morales
My Thoughts: Dark Order versus enhancement talent… Oh, I wonder who;s going to win this one? And what do you know, it’s also a squash! Yes, this one weas another by-the-book Aew YouTube match for the Dark Order.

Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which this week keeps the match count low, with only 6 matches on this week’s card! We’ve got Matt Menard and Paul Wight on commentary, so let’s get into the review.

My Thoughts: Shafir dominated this match, squashing Allure in less than two minutes. Short and sweet but very effective.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Emi Sakura and The Bunny def. Lady Bird Monroe and Gigi Rey
My Thoughts: Another squash match. Not much to say about this one other than Emi Sakura and The Bunny made for a good team – both of them have evil streaks that really added to the storytelling of this one.

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which packs in a whopping thirteen matches on the card this week… On with the review!

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark and like I said in my Elevation review, I missed last week’s two Aew YouTube shows due to the sheer amount of wrestling that was on TV/PPV! So I’m back at it this week, with a show taped in front of a live Toronto crowd… On with the review!
Match #1: Lance Archer def. Iseah Brown
My Thoughts: Lance Archer just feels like a broken record these days. Drag your opponent to the ring. Check. Throw him around. Check. Get the pin. Check. But hey, at least he’s wrestling matches.

This week features seven matches and a number of big-name stars! We’ve got Ian Riccaboni, Matt Menard and Jose the Assistant on commentary, so let’s get into the review…
Match #1: 10 def. Baron Black
My Thoughts: Baron Black jumped 10 before the bell and 10 totally no-sold it, along with everything else Black tried to throw at him. I do wonder what the plan is for 10… He is being head-hunted by Jose the Assistant on behalf of the Lfi, yet when he gets a decent singles match Aew throw Orange Cassidy into the mix?! Then he goes and has squash matches like this. What is the plan? What It It?!

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which is another stacked 10-match card; which is one less match than last week I suppose… On with the review!
Match #1: Marina Shafir def. Sio Nieves
My Thoughts: We’re in quasi-squash territory for this one. Unfortunately Shafir hasn’t lived up to her potential so far but there’s still time for her to develop in matches like this or… Maybe its time to get Shafir a manager as a mouth piece? Her in-rings skills are fine but she seems to get distracted by the storytelling aspects of wrestling.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Ari Daivari def. Ar Fox

Match #1: John Silver & Alex Reynolds def. Zuka & Alexander Moss
My Thoughts: I’m in a constant state of worry about the current 4-man roster of the Dark Order. It seems like the further away from the death of Brodie Lee, the more Tony Khan seems to be abandoning this team. I do sometimes wonder if not for their connection to Hangman Page, would they all still be in Aew? Which is a shame because the Dark Order, and in particular John Silver & Alex Reynolds, always deliver great matches – even on Dark and Elevation!

My Thoughts: The Renegade Twins get to face the enhancement talent rather than Be the enhancement talent? What a shocker. And they got some decent competition in Radley and Recks (that’s actually one hell of a tag team name Imho), making this another… let’s say it together… Aew quasi-squash match!
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: Anthony Ogogo def. Meto

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, the opening salvo in the Aew wrestling week. Once again we’ve got Excalibur, Caprice Coleman and Mark Henry on commentary and I’m digging the switch-ups we’ve had on the commentary team in recent weeks… Let’s see what the show has to offer!
Match #1: Angelico and Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) def. Ar Fox, Liam Gray and Adrian Alanis
My Thoughts: There was nothing remarkable about this match as Private Party continue to coast along and not live up to the hype of their signing back at the beginning of Aew. In fact, Private Party on Being the Elite is Better than Private Party in the ring! So in the end we get an average score for an average match.

Henry clubbed Cabana with forearms. Anthony Henry blocked a sunset flip from Colt and then wrenched Colt’s neck. Henry mounted Colt and ground and pounded him. Henry took Colt off his feet with a thrust kick to the midsection. Henry locked Colt in the bow-and-arrow but Colt escaped. Cabana was riled up after Henry kicked “Boom Boom” in the chest.

Henry took Colt off his feet with a thrust kick to the midsection. Henry locked Colt in the bow-and-arrow but Colt escaped. Cabana was riled up after Henry kicked “Boom Boom” in the chest.

Another episode of Aew: Dark, which this week features fourteen, yes Fourteen(!), matches. Though this show has also gone back to the traditional format after last week’s tremendous show which showcased two matches filmed internationally… I fear no Dark may ever live up to last weeks… Especially not one crammed with 14 matches like the old pandemic days!
Match #1: Jora Johl def. Luke Sampson
My Thoughts: Poor Jora Johl, it really looked like he was being set up to be a big star, with a future turn against Matt Hardy probably propelling him up the Aew card. Then Jeff hardy joined Aew and the Hfo disbanded and Johl has been seemingly forgotten. Though he has out in some decent time on Aew’s YouTube shows, it feels like he’s fallen into the Factory/Dark Order trap – win against jobbers on YouTube, Be the jobber of Dynamite/Rampage!

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, the opening salvo in the Aew wrestling week. This time round we’ve got Tony Schiavone and Caprice Coleman on commentary (with Anthony Ogogo joining them in the later matches), which makes for a refreshing change to proceedings. Let’s see what the show has to offer!
Match #1: Emi Sakura def. Paris Van Dale
My Thoughts: Surprise, surprise. Emi Sakura finally gets to have a singles match on one of Aew’s YouTube shows. She’s been stuck in women’s tag/trios whirlygig for weeks now, so it’s weird to see her in a one-on-one match. Though this wasn’t really a match, this was a typical Aew quasi-squash, with Paris Van Dale getting a couple of big spots in – a running bulldog, a open-leg faceplant – but nothing that gave Emi anything to worry about.
My Score:...

Another episode of Aew: Dark, which this week is back being taped at Aew Universal. Let’s join Taz and Excalibur, commentators for Dark as usual, with Ten matches this week – including a main event that sees the Roh Pure Championship on the line. Let’s get to it!
Match #1: Willow Nightingale def. Ashley D’Amboise
My Thoughts: Who doesn’t love the energy Willow Nightingale brings to her matches?! Her infectious attitude really raises the bar for any match she’s a part of, including this one (which is why this match gets an extra half-point just for That). Ashley D’Amboise plays a great heel too and whilst this match was too short for my liking this was still a great opener to this week’s Dark.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Nick Comoroto & Aaron Solo vs. Matt Vandagriff & Knull
My Thoughts: Solid but forgettable is how I’d describe this match.

Welcome to this review of Aew: Dynamite, this week’s episode was broadcast live from Hertz Arena in Estero, Florida. We’ve got Tony Schiavone, Excalibur, and Jim Ross on commentary and the fallout from Revolution to get to!
Match #1: Aew World Championship Match – “Hangman” Adam Page def. Dante Martin The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
They began with a handshake. They quickly locked up and Page took down Dante with a shoulder tackle. Dante fired back with a dropkick to Page’s mouth. Dante hit a springboard press off the ropes but “Hangman” held on and used a fallaway slam on Dante! “Hangman” hurled himself over the top rope with a body press to Dante Martin on the arena floor. Back in the ring, Dante flipped over Page’s back. Dante smashed into Page with pinpoint accuracy with a moonsault to the outside! Dante jumped off the...

Welcome to this weeks review of Aew Dark: Elevation, from Daily’s Place and in front of a live audience yet again. Without further adieu… lets’ get into it!
Match #1: Jade Cargill def. Rache Chanel
My Thoughts: A fast and decisive squash match for Jade Cargill, which techinically was little more than a reason “Smart” Mark Sterling to cut a promo about and on behalf of Cargill.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Santana & Ortiz def. Liam Gray & Adrian Alanis
My Thoughts: Former Evolve tag team partners Liam Gray and Adiran Alanis we’re back together tagging against Proud & Powerful who look to be repeating the Britt Baker formula of racking up wins on Dark and Elevation – and I’m here for it. It really is great to see Santana and Ortiz actually in a tag match rather than being part of more Inner Circle shenanigans! Can’t wait...

Welcome to this weeks review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which is the first (I think) to be filmed in front of a huge live crowd and deals with the fallout from this past weekend’s Double or Nothing. And in a real shocker… this episode is not even Ninety minutes long!
Match #1: The Acclaimed – Max Caster and Anthony Bowens def. Brent & Brandon Tate
My Thoughts: The Acclaimed delivered yet another great match against twins, and current Ovw Tag Team Champions Brent & Brandon Tate – how displayed just why they are champs. Though it was enough for the fluid tag team work of Bowens and Caster.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Leyla Hirsch def. Robyn Renegade
My Thoughts: So, so glad that the live crowd at the taping of this match popped for Leyla Hirsch – I’ve always said she’s one of my favourite Aew stars and it now...
