- Den is an artist, technologist, and executive who has been lucky enough to contribute to tentpole features, top-tier tv shows, and AAA games. He began his career as a Designer and Art Director in Silicon Valley, and after getting his MFA from USC Cinematic Arts he started as an AD and VFX artist and moved to the technology side when Deluxe hired him to design and build a new VFX facility. Ultimately he became a supervisor and got involved in 3D where he programmed tools used to make 3D conversion of VFX practical. He then worked on pipeline tools for VFX, games, and animation for many years, ultimately becoming department supervisor. After leaving the facility side to join The Redesign Group, he led the creation of Studio-side software and workflows for the Artist Anywhere production platform, managing a team of developers and production specialists and supported over 100 movies, shows, and games.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Self

- An early adopter of technology to expand storytelling, he was the first to use 10.2 channel audio on a film, developed by THX inventor Tomlinson Holman; among the first filmmakers to shoot in 100% greenscreen on all HD cameras; created the largest VFX movie in USC's history (over 600 shots) and pushed the development of an innovative student VFX lab in the process; created award-winning story-driven websites and trade shows starting in the mid-'90s; used computers to assist his theatre productions' visuals and audio as far back as the '80s; and even created music-ish compositions on Syntauri synthesizers in 1979 for a 4th grade school project. As of February, 2011 he was deeply involved in the development of new stereoscopic tools to improve the director's ability to affect the audience through depth.
