Since 2013 she’s been the lady in the room for “Fox & Friends,” and Elisabeth Hasselbeck announced Monday (November 23) that she’s stepping down from the gig.
The 38-year-old host, who has three children with her husband Tim Hasselbeck (a former NFL player and current Espn analyst), explained, "Oftentimes, the most difficult decisions are between two great things. Throughout my 14 years working in television, I have never experienced a more positive and thoughtful atmosphere than Fox News Channel, thanks to the strong leadership of (Fox News Chairman & CEO) Roger Ailes, who has created the best working environment a woman and mother could ask for."
Hasselbeck continued, "His understanding, compassion, and kindness was exemplified when I shared with him that I am entering into a season where I want to start my day with my children first, and he offered his blessing to do so. With a heart full of gratitude and...

Though she works in the city that never sleeps, Elisabeth Hasselbeck knows she has to rest up before her day starts at 2:30 a.m.
As Tuesday marks one year since the former View co-host joined Fox & Friends, Hasselbeck, 37, tells People it wasn't exactly easy adjusting to her new morning routine.
"At first when your schedule changes so dramatically and your alarm is going off at 2:30 in the morning, you definitely think there is an urgent matter at hand such as something quite wrong," she says. "I mean, I was almost reaching for the fire extinguisher a couple of times.

During her 10-year tenure as the resident conservative voice on ABC's daytime talk show "The View," Elisabeth Hasselbeck went from being a former shoe industry industrial designer and "Survivor" contestant to a confident TV professional who learned how to stand up for herself in the occasional pointed debates that broke out among the all-female panelists.
But on Monday, Sept. 16, Hasselbeck was still perched on a couch on a weekday, but instead of the one-hour chat fest of "The View," she was tackling three hours a day as a co-host of Fox News Channel's morning show, "Fox and Friends," with show veterans Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade.
Things are different when you trade in estrogen for testosterone.

When someone starts a new job, there's often a feeling of diving in at the deep end. Former "The View" star Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who launched into her new job at Fox News' morning show, "Fox & Friends," on Monday, Sept. 16, got to know her new co-hosts amid the wildlife and wild life of the hit A&E reality show "Duck Dynasty."
In a pre-taped segment that's been airing throughout the week -- the final installment airs on Friday, Sept. 20 -- Hasselbeck and fellow curvy-couch sitters Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade visited with America's other first family.
The duck-call-making Robertsons are led by abundantly bearded patriarch Phil, his equally hirsute sons Willie and Jase, and the always unpredictable Uncle Si.
"We were just in West Monroe, La.," says Hasselbeck, calling in after Thursday morning's broadcast, "hanging out for two days with the Robertson family, and it was a great bonding experience.

Worst. International. Women’s. Day. Ever. Just hours after Joy Behar confirmed she’s ending her 16-year run on The View this August, a new report claims that Elisabeth Hasselbeck will also be bidding farewell to the ABC daytime feud-fest. But unlike Joy, Elisabeth is allegedly being forced out of her seat at the ladies’ table!
“The viewers they polled all said she was too extreme and right wing,” a source close to production tells Us Weekly. “People did not watch the show because of Elisabeth. So they told her yesterday her contract would not be renewed.”
Elisabeth, who became an official View co-host in Nov. 2003, is believed to be the show’s most polarizing force. Viewers either love her for being an outspoken Republican in Hollywood, or they despise her for having such radically different views from their own.

For the first time ever -- despite many appearances by his wife Beth Ostrosky -- newly-minted "America's Got Talent" judge Howard Stern visited "The View." Or, rather, took over "The View." From trying to set Barbara Walters up on a date to ribbing Sherri Shepherd about that old flat earth flub, some of the best moments from Thursday's (May 10) Stern-edition of "The View":
On Barbara Walters' sex life:
"Barbara wants a man badly," says Stern, who suggests Charlie Rose as a possible candidate. This lights a fire in Walters who ends up curling herself up in Stern's lap, thus enabling him to brag about getting "downright sexual" with the 82-year-old "View" doyenne (who is a long-time Stern friend, btw.)

We thoroughly enjoyed "The View" co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck on her turn on "NFL Live" Tuesday (Jan. 19).
We realize the men of Espn's "NFL Live," Trey Wingo and Tedy Bruschi, were not exactly pelting Hasselbeck with tough analysis questions, but they weren't just lobbing her softballs either.
Some highlights include when Hasselbeck was asked to weigh in on new Buffalo Bills head coach Chan Gailey and the fact that his job was a tough one to fill. Hasselbeck remarked:

"The View" resident republican Elisabeth Hasselbeck is switching places with her husband Tim Hasselbeck. The couple are participating in a cross-promotional job switch later this month, with Elisabeth working as a Espn analyst while Tim chats with the ladies on ABC.
Elisabeth will serve as an NFL Live analyst on January 19. She will also appear on other Espn programs as a fill-in for her quarterback other half.
She said, "So many times we ask, 'How did work go today?' Undoubtedly we will be finding out the hard way as we switch jobs. The question then will be 'What have we gotten ourselves into?'"
Tim, meanwhile, will be voicing his views alongside Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sherri Shepherd, and Barbara Walters on "The View" episode on January 28.

NEW YORK -- Elisabeth Filarski Hasselbeck, a contestant on CBS' Survivor: The Australian Outback has been named a co-host on ABC's The View after the daytime show held lengthy on-air tryouts to fill its vacancy. View executive producer Barbara Walters made the announcement on air Monday with the rest of the co-hosts. In a Survivor-style introduction, the tribal council of View co-hosts held up signs unanimously bearing the name Elisabeth on it, confirming her victory over finalists Rachel Campos, from MTV's The Real World: San Francisco, and Erin Hershey Presley, who appeared on the ABC daytime drama Port Charles. Hasselbeck, 26, a shoe designer and wife of Washington Redskins quarterback Tim Hasselbeck, will begin her duties today. "We were looking for someone who stands out; you have to care what comes out of her mouth, and we felt Elisabeth had all those things plus youthful vitality -- and it doesn't hurt that she's a pretty girl," View executive producer Bill Geddie said after the show. Hasselbeck, repped by ICM, was host of the Style Channel's The Look for Less, which helps viewers find designer looks at bargain prices.
