Acclaimed filmmaker David Cronenberg's 1983 film "Videodrome" stars his frequent collaborator James Woods as Max Renn, the owner of a Canadian video channel that plays the raunchiest content Max can find, offering viewers things that they can't find on major networks. In his search for new material, Max stumbles across Videodrome, a shockingly violent program of sadomasochistic torture.
Max can't help but develop an obsession with the program — as does his thrill-seeking lover, the advice hotline radio host Nicki Brand. He inquires about Videodrome and is directed to the office of Professor O'Blivion at the Cathode Ray Mission, a place that offers people free access to television in confessional-like cubicles. Inside he meets the professor's daughter, Bianca O'Blivion, who offers to send him a taped message from her father.
In his tape, the professor explains that he helped develop Videodrome, but it caused him to develop a brain tumor. O'Blivion...

Spoiler Alert: This story contains detailed descriptions of plots and key scenes in the Netflix‘s “Fool Me Once.”
The numbers for “Fool Me Once” keep on growing. Just yesterday, Netflix announced that thriller series — based on Harlan Coben’s novel of the same name — has become the streamer’s ninth most-popular English language TV show ever with a whopping 84.9 million total views in its first 35 days of availability after premiering on New Year’s Day.
“It’s insane,” says series star Michelle Keegan. “I’m not going to lie. It makes me feel a little bit nauseous. This month has been very surreal, I’ll tell you that. It’s been very, very surreal. I’m still a little bit numb. It’s been very overwhelming, but amazing as well in a really great way. But it doesn’t seem real. Harlan texts me a lot and he gives...

The team behind Netflix’s hit Fool Me Once is reuniting for a new series — at a different streamer.
Amazon’s Prime Video has ordered Lazarus, a limited series from Harlan Coben and Danny Brocklehurst. The drama will star Sam Claflin (Daisy Jones & the Six) as a forensic psychologist who returns home after his father’s suicide and becomes entangled in a set of cold case murders. Bill Nighy, playing the lead character’s late father, and Alexandra Roach, as Claflin’s sister, also star.
Lazarus is based on an original idea from best-selling author Coben and Brocklehurst, who are writing the series together. The limited series will be Coben’s second at Prime Video, which ran (and then canceled) Shelter last year.
“Lazarus is a gripping series that captures your attention from the very beginning,” said Heather Curtis, current series executive, pan-English scripted SVOD TV at Amazon MGM Studios.

Spoiler Alert: This story contains detailed descriptions of plots and key scenes in the Netflix thriller series “Fool Me Once.”
Joanna Lumley hadn’t read Harlan Coben’s bestselling novel “Fool Me Once” before shooting its Netflix series adaptation. In other words, she wasn’t aware of the final episode’s many twists until she read the script. “My heart was beating so fast,” Lumley tells me. “The cast gathered and we were all like, ‘Oh, my God! What do you think of this?’”
And that’s exactly what viewers seem to be asking each other — what do you think of this? – because the series’ main plot and multiple storylines coalesce into a primetime soap smorgasbord of lunacy and outrageousness.

Wolf Pack fans will be howling tonight as it’s been announced that Paramount+ has officially canceled the series after just one season.
Based on the book series by Edo Van Belkom, Wolf Pack revolves around “a teenage boy, Everett, and girl, Blake, whose lives are forever changed when a California wildfire awakens a terrifying supernatural creature. Wounded in the chaos of its attack, the teens are inexplicably drawn to each other and to two others, fraternal twins Harlan and Luna, who were adopted sixteen years earlier by a park ranger after another mysterious wildfire. As the full moon rises, all four teens come together to unravel the secret that connects them – the bite and blood of a werewolf.” The series was developed by Jeff Davis, best known for creating MTV’s Teen Wolf series.

Wolf Pack, starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, will not return to Paramount+ for a second season.
Although the drama series never was officially renewed for Season 2, the team was actively working on it, with production having been slated to begin in February, sources close to production told Deadline. Series creator Jeff Davis told the cast about the cancellation this week.
It comes as Paramount+ continues cutting costs, which also includes mass layoffs. Bob Bakish addressed this in a memo to his team on Thursday that the company will continue to reduce its global workforce “to operate as a leaner company and spend less” after Deadline revealed over the weekend that the company was bracing for more staff cuts, thought to be in the hundreds including the programming teams.

After the huge success of Fool Me Once, Netflix have commissioned two more Harlan Coben adaptations, here are the details.
The Harlan Coben thriller is quickly becoming its own subgenre. So far, ten of his high-octane, twisty novels have made their way to the screen. Amongst the highlights, Tell No One was adapted into a terrific French film of the same name in 2006, directed by Guillaume Canet and starring Francois Cluzet and Kristen Scott Thomas.
On television, The Five, Safe, Innocent, Just One Look, No Second Chance, The Stranger, The Woods, Gone For Good, Stay Close, Hold Me Tight and – most recently – Fool Me Once have all been adapted variously for Channel 5 and Netflix.
It’s thanks to the huge success of Fool Me Once, which landed on Netflix over Christmas and stars Michelle Keegan, that the streaming service are pressing ahead with two more Coben adaptations, Deadline has revealed.

Mr Richard Armitage, book the kitchen fitters and treat yourself to one of those taps that dispenses sparkling water, because you’re about to get paid. Netflix has confirmed that two new UK-set Harlan Coben adaptations are on the way, from the team behind Fool Me Once, Stay Close and The Stranger.
Next up for the Coben book-to-screen treatment in the UK is Missing You. Published in 2014, it’s the story of police detective Kat Donovan, whose life – in true Harlan Coben tradition – is turned upside down when her missing fiancé Josh (it was Jeff in the book) suddenly reappears on a dating site. Expect secrets, intrigue and grisly deaths to play out against a backdrop of expansive Carrera marble kitchen islands, Heals sofas, and £80k Range Rovers.
No cast has yet been announced for Missing You, but filming starts in spring 2024 so we can expect to hear who’ll be in it soon.

Ahead of the Jan 20 launch of Frightfest Saturday Scares With Alan Jones on Fast TV channel Nyx, Alan recounts his rise to journalistic prominence – from stealing shocker posters and partying with Abba to falling out with filmmakers and writing his upcoming autobiography.
Did you know from a young age that you wanted to be a journalist?
No, I loved horror and fantasy movies from the age of ten, or rather the idea of them because obviously I couldn’t go to the cinema and see anything of that nature. I read horror novels nonstop, stole shocker posters pasted up on the billboards at the end of my street, cut out all the wonderfully lurid adverts from newspapers and pasted them into scrapbooks. I was literally waiting for the moment I could pass for sixteen so I could get into X films and start watching all the movies I was desperate to catch up on.

You must have surely heard about vampires, but have you got any idea what a ‘Dampyr’ is? I certainly had no clue that characters like Blade belonged to the Dampyr category. Riccardo Chemello, the director of the 2022 film Dampyr has tried to bring the legendary creature into popular culture with vigor, and his effort doesn’t entirely miss the mark. The film is a story about Harlan Draka, who doesn’t know that his birth is the result of the union between a vampire and a human. In the Balkans, war is raging, and when the army is attacked by a bunch of vampires, Commander Kurjack brings in Harlan to see if he is a dampyr, a vampire hunter.
Spoilers Ahead
Plot Synopsis: What Happens In The Film?
Many moons ago, a woman gave birth to Harlan after she had been impregnated by a ‘Master of the Night’ named Draka.

Harlan's suspicions may be correct in the first season of the Beacon 23 TV show on MGM+. The enemy, as it seems it always has been, is within in David Cronenberg’s Videodrome, but its violence, gore, and torrential mayhem is hard to miss. Influenced by the writings of Marshall McLuhan, this 1983 vision of the intermingling ideas and functions of technology, the mind, and “the flesh” is, like a great deal of Cronenberg’s work, endlessly fascinated with decay, bodily fluids, wounds, and growths. All of which come to bear in one form or another on Max Renn (James Woods), a forager of outré entertainments at Civic-tv, a sleazy Uhf television station in Toronto that he helped to found, and whose motto, “The One You Take to Bed with You,” is more ominous than goofy.
But where softcore pornography would effectively crawl up the ass of any major network executive and start biting as if it were its last meal, Renn is bored by shots of Asian...

Warning: contains major plot spoilers for Harlan Coben’s Shelter
Harlan Coben’s Shelter, now out in full on Prime Video, really bought in to Mickey’s dad’s mantra that “you can’t get a hit if you don’t swing the bat”. For eight episodes, it swung its bat wildly in every direction, spinning it crazily overhead and sweeping it low in circles, possibly while wearing a blindfold. If there was a hit to get, Shelter swung for it – and with some success.
It was the story of Mickey Bolitar, a bereaved teen who investigated the disappearance of a fellow high school student but discovered a great deal more. Adapted from Harlan Coben’s YA spin-off to his mega-successful Myron Bolitar series, the thriller veered hugely in tone (pairing real-life holocaust atrocity and child abuse with teen comedy felt tasteless at best) but its red herrings, cliff-hangers, twists...

What a way to leave us hanging!
The series understood the art of a cliffhanger with Harlan Coben's Shelter Season 1 Episode 8, and now we're left reeling over the confirmation that Brad Bolitar is alive.
But what does that mean for the future? And we're not just talking about the future for all these respective characters and the storytelling, but the future of the series in general.
We got those suspenseful moments of Mickey, with the support of his friends, coming face to face with his father, who isn't dead after all, just as Shira stared down an empty coffin.
We fade to black before we can have the satisfying moments of Mickey running to his father for a hug or them having anything that resembles a real conversation.
And with Bat Lady in the wind, Luther, and whomever he's working alongside serving as a looming threat, and the uncertainty...

Can we please stop traumatizing these teens for, like, a second?
It was nearly all hands on deck for the teens during Harlan Coben's Shelter Season 1 Episode 7, which was a harrowing hour for too many of the kiddos.
But by the end of it, at least we know that Ashley is rescued and off somewhere far safer for now.
Mickey Bolitar's hard-learned lesson of the hour was that he has to trust and rely on his friends a bit more, but then, did he really learn that lesson by the end when he went to confront Bat Lady alone?
And Spoon experienced such a devastating loss, that of a girl he once knew and part of his innocence, that it's almost unforgivable that we didn't get to revisit that again.
Spoon Spindell is not okay, and we need to focus on that a bit more!
The series knows its strength lies in the dynamics,...

Harlan Coben's Shelter has been firing from all cylinders since its impressive launch on Prime Video earlier this month.
On Harlan Coben's Shelter Season 1 Episode 5, the mystery intensifies, and some more secrets are revealed.
TV Fanatic scored an exclusive first look at the episode, and it sets the tone for a thrilling hour of this new drama.
In the clip, Mickey and Spoon follow Ema and get more than they bargained for.
Ema notices they've been doing some investigating of their own and finds the pair outside her house, which is far more luxurious than they anticipated.
Irate that they're meddling, Ema is also taken aback, but not as much as Mickey and Spoon.
How will their decision to find out more about Ema help or hinder their dynamic as we enter the back half of Harlan Coben's Shelter Season 1?
We don't know, but we will be watching it all play out.

This post contains spoilers for the finale of "Justified: City Primeval."
When "Justified: City Primeval" signed off last night, the limited series finale was expected to be the final word on Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant). After all, fans of the straight-shooting, contemplative modern cowboy got six seasons with the character, plus a surprise bonus in the form of the revival series -- an adaptation of an Elmore Leonard story that didn't originally feature Raylan. And isn't that enough? Wouldn't it be greedy for us to ask for more time in this stylish, thrilling world?
Not according to the show itself. In an exhilarating surprise epilogue, "Justified: City Primeval" ended with a fantastic cliffhanger, bringing crime kingpin (and Raylan's ex-friend) Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) back into the fray in typical over-the-top fashion and putting an immediate question mark on the end of Raylan's early retirement. Well, that's more like it.
While Raylan still doesn't pull a trigger -- literally or metaphorically -- on Justified: City Primeval Season 1 Episode 7, the pacing and building pressure of the action has a familiar edge to it.
The showrunners do seem intent on making it painfully obvious that Detroit ain't Harlan. They subvert every expectation at every opportunity. It's both a novel and frustrating approach, narratively speaking.
Let's get the business of the Detroit Police Department out of the way first.
Downey's decision to pin the judge and Rose Doyle's murders on the Pcp-using war vet is the shoe Raylan was waiting to drop on the case.
He's felt for a while that the case was being hobbled by something or someone. Seeing Downey take the murder weapon and use it to convict a mentally unwell bystander indicates that she's been working at cross-purposes, possibly because she's in the judge's book.

Ashley is alive, but where the hell is she?!
Keeping up with the breakneck pace for all the twists and turns this series is throwing at us, Harlan Coben's Shelter Season 1 Episode 3 was filled to the brim with revelations.
Of course, it also opened the door for a gazillion more questions. This series is hellbent on keeping our heads spinning.
Is Brad alive or not? Who took Ashley and why? Why is Rachel being so shady? So all sides of the Shira, Hannah, and Ken triangle have touched in more ways than one? Whew!
The series mix-matching the characters and how the trio interact with each other are among the most fun things to happen.
During Harlan Coben's Shelter Season 1 Episode 2, we had a heavy dose of Mickey and Ema, and it was such a unique vibe. When Ema realized that she liked Mickey and dropped her antisocial defenses, we saw this genuinely caring,...

Hollywood star Tom Cruise has been branded an “egocentric control freak” by ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ writer Frederic Raphael.
The veteran writer – who has been open about the issues he had working with the 1999 film’s late director Stanley Kubrick – blasted the ‘Mission: Impossible’ actor and questioned the chemistry between him and his then-wife Nicole Kidman in the movie, even though they have never met, reports ‘Female First UK’.
The 91-year-old scribe made the remarks in a letter he has written in his new book ‘Last Post’, in which he accused Tom, along with the filmmaker’s wife Christiane Harlan and her brother Jan of being responsible for his unflattering Wikipedia entry and trying to write him out of the director’s “history”.
According to MailOnline, he wrote: “There has been an incessant campaign, led by the Harlans, whom I never met during the two or three years of addressing myself exclusively to you,...

This post contains spoilers for the latest episode of "Justified: City Primeval."
Raylan Givens wants to be a good dad. The neo-Western hero played by Timothy Olyphant spent much of the original run of "Justified" grappling with his own daddy issues, and while the revival series doesn't mention them outright, they still loom large over his relationship with his daughter Willa. In this week's episode, they came to a head when, after too-trusting Willa had a close call with murderer Clement Manzel (Boyd Holbrook), Raylan decided to put her on a plane home despite her protests. The hour ended on a bitter note as Raylan stepped away to take a phone call at the airport, only to see Willa walk off to board the plane without saying goodbye.
On a plot level, I'm glad to see Willa out of the picture, as her boredom and teen angst seemed like a...

Anyone who knows beloved crime novelist Elmore Leonard only through Justified, the 2010 TV adaptation of his work, might be confused as to why its reboot, Justified: City Primeval, moves the action from the hollers of Harlan County, Kentucky to the rust belt of Detroit, Michigan.
That confusion is understandable as Justified enjoys one of the most richly-realized settings in modern television history. Despite filming nearly the entirety of its six-season run in Southern California (the pilot was shot in Pittsburgh), FX‘s saga about an anachronistic stetson-wearing lawman was absolutely steeped in Appalachian realness. Indeed, the entire premise of the show revolved around Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) being forced to relocate back to his troubled Kentucky hometown following a questionably “justified” shooting of a crime lord in Miami.
Justified quite simply does not work without its Harlan County setting. The weight of history bears down on...

When the community of Serenity comes together, it's heartwarming. However, it's just as noticeable when you're estranged from them.
During Sweet Magnolias Season 3 Episode 6, everyone supported Harlan when his dad had a stroke. They ignored their issues with each other and thought of their mutual friend.
However, when Helen experienced a loss, she couldn't think of anyone to call that wouldn't judge her. How sad is that?
Harlan has mainly been a secondary character, assisting Cal with baseball, so it was nice to learn more about his family.
It's scary seeing a family member fall and not knowing how to handle it, especially learning the uncertainty of it being a stroke.
This room is filled with people ready to help your family, Harlan. Lean on all of us.

We're barely into the season, and it's hitting us with emotional feelings in many fanbases.
The tension was high on Sweet Magnolias Season 3 Episode 2 as Erik confronted Helen about her feelings for Ryan.
We waited for 18 months for Helen's decision. This was not the one many of us wanted.
Much of Sweet Magnolias Season 3 Episode 1 was about resolving the cliffhangers and setting up new arcs. I'm relieved they had Helen make her decision quickly.
Heather Headley and Dion Johnstone exercised their acting chops in this emotional break-up scene. Helen was so confused and didn't want to hurt him, but she added to that pain by not talking to him immediately.
Helen: I don't know what I want!
Erik: you want him. Or you wouldn't have to think twice to tell him to pack himself to a little hot zone that needs saving.

We're a long way and a long time from Harlan County, folks. Justified: City Primeval Season 1 Episode 1 & Justified: City Primeval Season 1 Episode 2 set up our favorite U.S. Marshall for an intense new case, but it's not just the criminal who's new and different.
The fifteen years that have elapsed have mellowed Raylan Givens, and fatherhood has clearly taught him some anger management strategies that hunting criminals never drove home.
In addition, he's working a case in Detroit, so he has no connection with people and no history with the criminal he's hunting while simultaneously trying to supervise a teenage daughter who has a disturbingly poor sense of self-preservation.
The original Justified series managed to plumb the depths of Elmore Leonard's Raylan Givens literary adventures, even inspiring the writer to create a whole new book in 2012 the showrunners then incorporated into the third season.

“We dug coal together.”
Timothy Olyphant closed out Justified in 2015 with those powerful final words, an ode to his character Raylan Givens’ complicated relationship with his home Harlan County, his longtime friend-turned-enemy Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins), and even himself. For those who stuck through the FX modern Western’s six seasons, it was a perfect encapsulation of the journey: from the Bennetts to the Crowes and everyone in between — the legend of Drew Thompson to a stiff drink of Pappy Van Winkle — the Justified community dug coal together.
Now, it’s time to head back to the mines.
Years after closing the door on the Kentucky-based crime drama, Raylan Givens returns in the form of limited series Justified: City Primeval. Taking its cues from Elmore Leonard’s celebrated novel City Primeval, the newest iteration of Justified bids farewell to Harlan, and all of Raylan’s old friends and foes, in...

In 2019, Olyphant reprised his role as rage-filled Wild West sheriff Seth Bullock in Deadwood: The Movie. A year later, he cameoed on The Good Place wearing the familiar Stetson and other wardrobe from his iconic role as trigger-happy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens from Justified. At the Monte-Carlo Television Festival, the cast of “Harlan Coben’s Shelter” – which debuts on Prime Video on Aug. 18 – spoke about how the show rings true when it comes to presenting a true representation of the country’s diversity, and delivering an authentic depiction of teenage life in the U.S.
At the press conference for the show, which followed its world premiere at the festival, were Jaden Michael, Constance Zimmer, Adrian Greensmith and Abby Corrigan, alongside Edward Ornelas, one of the show’s executive producers and directors.
Michael, who plays Mickey Bolitar in the teen thriller, said: “When I was growing up, there was one movie I watched religiously. It was called ‘Imagine That’ with Eddie Murphy, Nicole Ari Parker and Yara Shahidi – it was one of her first projects. And I watched that movie on repeat daily, because it was the only movie where I saw someone who looked like me.

Without a market component, the Monte-Carlo Television Festival has nevertheless built out and bulked up its industry section with each passing edition. More than anything, the move came out of sheer practicality, says executive director Cécile Menoni.
“We realized that the professionals who were already present could benefit from certain professional content,” Menoni explains. “The idea was to involve the many people who were already in attendance. To federate the juries, nominees and journalists, and to convey their overall vision of cotemporary industry concerns.”
This year’s festival business program runs from June 17 – 19, beginning with a conversation moderated by Variety’s Leo Barraclough that will find Amazon Studio’s Rola Bauer and executive producer Edward Ornelas discussing the challenges and opportunities, casting choices and artistic ambitions of the festival’s opening series, “Harlan Corben’s Shelter.”

Harbinger (här-bǝn-jǝr)
A: Something or someone that foreshadows a future event,
B: One that initiates a major change: gives an anticipatory sign of what’s to come.
The Curse Of Rosalie from director Will Klipstine, who also stars in the lead role of Daniel Snyder, is an interesting and dense watch. The movie explores so many different elements of horror, crime, demons, tokens, ancient Native American curses and creepy small town neighbors along with a number of twists and turns that you don’t want to blink for a second.
The film starts in familiar territory with a seemingly ‘normal’ young couple moving to a new small town with their troubled young daughter, Rosalie (Madeleine McGraw). You see, Rosalie has endured a fairly recent change which leaves her now with a bit of a nasty chip on her shoulder – to put it mildly. She is very quiet, brooding and not...

Netflix has ordered a dramedy series inspired by the memoir “The Pink Marine” written by Greg Cope White, Variety has learned.
Currently titled “The Corps,” Netflix has given the show a 10 episode order. The official logline states, “Set in 1990, ‘The Corps’ is about Cameron, a bullied, gay high school student who joins the Marine Corps with his straight best friend, Ray — a dangerous move when being gay in the military meant jail time or worse. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and his family sold $133,000 worth of real estate properties to conservative billionaire (and collector of Nazi memorabilia) Harlan Crow — without disclosing the transaction as required by federal ethics laws, according to ProPublica. Following the news of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ unethical friendship with GOP megadonor Harlan Crow, more details about the Texas real estate mogul have emerged, including a report that Crow is an avid collector of Adolf Hitler items.
The Washingtonian on Friday resurfaced a 2014 article by the Dallas Morning News where a tour of Crow’s Dallas-area mansion revealed the billionaire’s historical collection includes a startling amount of Nazi memorabilia, including a copy of Mein Kampf signed by the author himself, a pair of the failed artist-turned-dictator’s cityscape paintings,...

Clarence Thomas doesn’t seem to realize why a Supreme Court justice regularly accepting lavish gifts from a GOP megadonor, and then failing to report those gifts, is such a big deal.
“Harlan and Kathy Crow are among our dearest friends, and we have been friends for over twenty-five years. As friends do, we have joined them on a number of family trips during the more than quarter century we have known them,” the conservative justice said in a statement responding to a damning ProPublica report detailing how billionaire Harlan...

There are several reasons why "Justified" is one of the finest series of the Peak Television era. The show captured the snappy repartee and peculiar characterizations of the Elmore Leonard stories on which it was based, and was cast to utter perfection. We savored every second we spent in the hotbed of Bluegrass criminality that is Harlan County, and were sad to see it close out after six seasons. But endings are important. They're necessary. And "Justified" is one of the few shows that knew precisely when to end its run.
As much as I love "The Sopranos" and "Mad Men," these shows strained a bit down the stretch. "Justified" always kept its plates spinning. After establishing the Givens-Crowder feud in the first season, creator Graham Yost and his writers expertly fleshed out their world with fascinatingly eccentric villains like Wynn Duffy (Jere Burns), Robert Quarles (Neal McDonaugh) and Katherine Hale...

[This story contains major spoilers from the first season of Wolf Pack.]
Sarah Michelle Gellar is already quite familiar with the supernatural world, but what drew her to the Paramount+ series Wolf Pack goes deeper into what the show represents.
The Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress’ latest project, which she stars in and executive produces, has her embracing werewolves, but in a way that gives her the opportunity to discuss important real-world topics, which she says is the reason she did the show. “Supernatural stories, in a really odd way, allow you to tell the most superhuman stories,” she tells The Hollywood Reporter.
While the series, written and produced by Jeff Davis, starts off as a “slow burn,” Gellar’s character eventually has two twists that most probably didn’t see coming — including when she’s revealed to be a werewolf. By the end of the first season, the high school-set horror show has answered many questions surrounding Gellar’s shocking character,...

Ted Donaldson, who starred as Bud Anderson on the original radio version of Father Knows Best and as Neely Nolan in the beloved family drama A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, the first feature directed by Elia Kazan, has died. He was 89.
Donaldson died Wednesday of complications from a fall in his Echo Park apartment in January, his friend Thomas Bruno told The Hollywood Reporter.
In his big-screen debut, Donaldson portrayed a boy who gets his pet caterpillar Curly to dance when he plays “Yes Sir, That’s My Baby” on the harmonica in the comedy fantasy Once Upon a Time (1944), starring Cary Grant and Janet Blair.
He also starred as Danny Mitchell in eight B-movies from Columbia Pictures that revolved around a German shepherd named Rusty. The first one, Adventures of Rusty (1945), featured Ace the Wonder Dog.
