For the first time ever, there was a “double chair” twist on “The Voice” in Spring 2024 as a coaching duo sat on the panel together: country pop stars Dan + Shay. These three-time Grammy winners for “Tequila,” “Speechless” and “10,000 Hours” had a history with the program as they previously performed on the live shows in Seasons 15 and 19, served as Blake Shelton‘s battle advisors in Season 20, and filled in for an absent Niall Horan during the Season 24 knockouts. Now that the Season 25 blind auditions, battles and knockouts have wrapped up, can Dan + Shay prevail for the first time on NBC’s reality TV show?
Tour our gallery above (or click here for direct access) for a closer look at Team Dan + Shay on “The Voice” Season 25, including photos, bios and artist rankings. Also see our features for Team Chance the Rapper, Team John Legend and Team Reba McEntire.

Coaches Reba McEntire, John Legend, Chance the Rapper, and Dan + Shay still have many talented singers on their respective teams. But that would all change in a new episode of The Voice.

The Voice Brings People Together
On the Monday, March 25 episode of The Voice, two of Team Chance the Rapper’s contestants, Bri Fletcher and Serenity Arce, were forced to compete in the Battles. Admittedly, Chance initially put them together because of their affinity for “emotional music.” But it led to a moment of deep feelings and shed tears for the competitors and Chance was nearly brought to tears as well. However, in interviews, Senenity has been candid about the closeness between her and Bri throughout the show. Undeniably, it was hard for her to think about one of them not making it out of the Knockouts. Further, Serenity says, “It...

The Voice’s John Legend called out his fellow coaches for what he felt was a “sadistic” movie during the show.
Legend stars on the show with the legendary Reba McEntire, hip-hop star Chance the Rapper, and country pop duo Dan + Shay.
With $100,000 and a Universal Music Group deal on the line for contestants, the coaches can also offer musicians deals, which could help them achieve further success.

Following Blake Shelton‘s exit from The Voice at the end of Season 23, John Legend is now the longest-tenured coach on the NBC singing competition series. But could the country star ever return to the hot seat? “I feel like Gwen [Stefani] is the only chance we have. I don’t think Blake is coming back,” Legend said with a laugh when speaking with Entertainment Tonight. “He is staying on the farm; he’s enjoying himself.” “I’ve talked to him and he’s, like, picking corn. He sent us some fresh corn from the farm, he sent us some fresh peaches from the farm, we made peach cobbler,” the Egot winner continued. “I don’t think he has any desire to come back to Hollywood and film The Voice.” Even though a Voice reunion seems out of the question, Legend said he still regularly keeps in touch with his former co-stars.

The trio took a break from the fine dining scene in Los Angeles and traveled to Park City for the Sundance Film Festival to talk up their show, which debuts Jan. 24 on Freeform. “Chrissy and Dave Dine Out” follows Teigen, Chang (founder of Momofuku and creator of Netflix’s “Ugly Delicious”) and Booster (the writer and star of Searchlight’s “Fire Island”) as they indulge at Michelin-star restaurants with famous friends like Simu Liu, Jimmy Kimmel, Kumail Nanjiani and Regina Hall. In between bites of savory pizza and fresh sushi, they swap stories about everything from their sex lives to the importance of representation in Hollywood.

John Legend named his favorite Beatles song and he made a good choice. His explanation, however, was awful. He said a certain Beatles song stuck out to him because it was adapted into a movie. That movie was so terrible George Harrison publicly attacked it.
John Legend’s favorite Beatles song is from ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’
During a 2009 interview with Cleveland.com, Legend was asked to name his favorite song by The Beatles. He picked the title track from Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. While that tune isn’t as acclaimed as “Yesterday” or “Strawberry Fields Forever,” it boasts a catchy hard-rock riff and some of the Fab Four’s trademarked British humor.
“That sticks out because of the movie,” Legend said. “Everything they did … incredible talent, man. It’s just amazing how great they were, how they influenced our culture, and how the music still stands up today.

In the UK in the 1990s, bodybuilding was a freak pursuit – the domain of weirdos who painted themselves with Ronseal and stretched tiny Lycra hammocks across acres of skin the texture of an Arbroath Smokie in an attempt to resemble Marvel’s The Thing. Nobody knew what a deltoid was. Or a protein window. Fit people were the ones who played a weekly game of five-a-side before the pub. Fake tan smelt of biscuits, and even Sporty Spice didn’t have abs.

Gladiators, ready! The legendary sports gameshow that sees members of the public take on super-strong “Gladiators” in a series of physical challenges is getting a revival on the BBC – what a time to be alive. The new Gladiators starts on BBC One on Saturday January 13 at 5.50 p.m., and is presented by father-son due Bradley and Barney Walsh.
Gladiators captivated Saturday nights in the nineties. The whole family huddled around a too-small television to watch Ulrika Jonsson and John Fashanu introduce four “contenders” (members of the public) who were going to take on the mighty Gladiators, in a show packed with shellsuits, tight lycra costumes, and Hairstyles with a capital H. By the time it reached the final round, aka The Eliminator, we’d all be screaming at the screen as contestants faced trapezes, a zipwire and the ultimate challenge: the travelator.

NBC’s The Voice Season 24 continues with the finalists, and fans can’t wait to see which coach comes out on top. This season, fans have had the chance to watch Niall Horan, Gwen Stefani, John Legend, and Reba McEntire go head-to-head with their teams of talented singers. And it appears that Horan makes less money than the rest of The Voice coaches. Here’s how much he makes.
Niall Horan is likely the lowest-paid coach in ‘The Voice’ Season 24
Niall Horan is a coach in The Voice Season 24 alongside John Legend, Gwen Stefani, and newcomer Reba McEntire. The One Direction singer got his start with The Voice in season 23 and won, making an early name for himself as a tough coach to beat. Fans were delighted to see him return for season 24. But it looks like he didn’t necessarily receive a pay bump after his inaugural season.

Discovery-owned Eurosport has acquired streaming rights in 54 countries to Olympic refugee documentary “We Dare to Dream” by Waad Al-Kateab, the Oscar-nominated Syrian director of “For Sama.”
“We Dare to Dream” is the story of the refugee Olympic team that competed at the 2020 games in Tokyo, which featured stateless athletes from Iran, Syria, South Sudan and Cameroon who swim, run and fight their way to safety in host nations across the world. It’s told through the personal prism of Al-Kateab while she is coming to terms with the reality that she can never return to Aleppo, where she shot “For Sama.” The doc premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in June and had an Oscar-qualifying theatrical run at New York City’s IFC Center in October.
After the doc premiered at Tribeca, Angelina Jolie joined “We Dare to Dream” as an executive producer to help with its Oscar push.

Peacock has acquired U.S. rights to Waad Al-Kateab’s second feature-length documentary “We Dare to Dream.”
The pact comes after the 93-minute film made its world premiere in June at the Tribeca Film Festival and had a Oscar qualifying theatrical run at New York City’s IFC Center in October. The docu, about the refugee Olympic team at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, will begin streaming on Peacock on Dec. 1.
“The fact that Peacock has now acquired our film gives me hope that millions of people will be able to understand our story, and that we, the world’s refugees, are not the crisis,” says Al-Kateab. “We are a consequence of multiple crises in the world from climate instability to political conflict that are causing millions, like me and my children, to lose their homes and their way of life. With new crises at a breaking point today, I think...

Lana Del Rey showcased a moody rendition of Elvis’ 1977 song “Unchained Melody,” originally performed by the Righteous Brothers, for NBC’s Christmas at Graceland. The TV special, aired from the singer’s home in Graceland, also featured appearances by Post Malone, Kane Brown, Lainey Wilson, Kasey Musgraves, Alanis Morissette, and John Legend.
Post Malone appeared poolside to perform the King’s emotive 1968 number “(You’re The) Devil In Disguise,” offering an intimate, solo rendition of the song.
Musgraves, channeling Priscilla Presley, took to Graceland’s front entrance to perform “Can’t Help Falling in Love,...

Last week on “The Voice,” Team Niall Horan took the stage during the playoffs as all six contestants performed for a shot at making it into the live shows. In the end, three of his artists advanced to the next round: Huntley, Nini Iris and Mara Justine. That meant the other three singers — Claudia B., Julia Roome and Alexa Wildish — were all eliminated.
Gold Derby asked “The Voice” fans to vote in our poll for which of these three was most robbed, and the results are an absolute landslide for Alexa. In fact, a whopping 72% of responders voted for Alexa, compared to just 17% for Julia and 11% for Claudia. Do You agree or disagree with those poll results? Be sure to sound off down in the comments section.
The next time Team Niall will take the stage is during the live Top 12 performance show on December 4. That is when Huntley, Nini...
