To combat the ominous atmosphere of the Ides of March, Netflix has another Lindsay Lohan film, “Irish Wish,” which is now streaming. The follow-up to “Falling for Christmas” in Lohan’s deal with the streamer to make two films, “Irish Wish” focuses on love, luck and a little bit of magic in the rom-com that arrives right before Saint Patrick’s Day.
Lohan portrays a smart book editor, except when it comes to matters of her heart. It takes a wish granted by a mystical woman out in the beautiful Irish countryside to get Maddie to realize that what she hopes and dreams for might not be what she wants or should want in life.
Featuring music from Lohan’s younger sister, Aliana, and a guest appearance from her brother, Dokota, the cast is stacked with other familiar faces as well. We’ve rounded up the “Irish Wish” cast and...

After keeping us in Fraser’s Ridge for multiple seasons — featuring a slew of frustrating but not always interesting villains, and at the cusp of the Revolutionary War — “Outlander” Season 7 feels like a breath of fresh air.
The season premiere begins where we’ve been before: a determined Jamie (Sam Heughan) with Ian (John Bell) at his side, out to save his beloved Claire (Caitríona Balfe) from being tried for the death of Malva Christie (Jessica Reynolds). Claire, meanwhile, does what she can to survive — and she has truly perfected the art of keeping her wits about her while facing impending doom.
But unlike other seasons that bludgeoned and violated our heroine in unnecessarily graphic ways, we’re given a respite here. Instead, Claire’s looming trial and potential execution are delayed in part thanks to her skills as a doctor and because of the era’s political unrest, with Jamie always one step behind.

Lindsay Lohan’s forthcoming Netflix film, Irish Wish, has added more stars to its cast.
The rom-com, set for release in 2023, features Lohan in the lead role as a bridesmaid named Maddy who is in love with her best friend’s husband-to-be.
Though she decides to put her feelings aside to support the couple, days before the wedding in Ireland, she makes a wish for true love and magically wakes up as the bride.
However, she soon realises that her true soulmate is someone that she never expected it to be.
As well as the Mean Girls and Freaky Friday actor, actor Ed Speleers – who played Stephen Bonnet in Outlander and Jimmy Kent in Downton Abbey – has also signed up to the project.
Another Outlander alumnus on the cast list is Alexander Vlahos, who plays Allan Christie and was formerly in the BBC drama, Merlin.

Season 6 of “Outlander” aired between March and May of this year, which made it eligible for the 2022 Emmy nominations. Unfortunately, the Starz fantasy epic was completely snubbed when the noms were announced on the morning of Tuesday, July 12. All 14 “Outlander” actors that were submitted for Emmy consideration came up empty-handed, including Caitriona Balfe (who plays time-traveling doctor Claire Randall Fraser) and Sam Heughan (who plays her Highlander true love Jamie Fraser), as did all of the show’s behind-the-scenes talent.
It’s not the first time “Outlander” fans found themselves disappointed when the series wound up not nominated by Emmy voters. In fact, the first five seasons only nabbed a grand total of four below-the-line bids: music score (2015), production design (2016) and costumes (2016 and 2018). The popular program still has yet to receive any above-the-line Emmy love for its actors, writers, directors or producers.

Outlander welcomes the Christie Family as Mark Lewis Jones, Alexander Vlahos and Jessica Reynolds join the cast for the Starz drama’s sixth season. The trio of actors will appear as Tom Christie, Allan Christie and Malva Christie, respectively.
Outlander season 6 sees a continuation of Claire (Caitriona Balfe)and Jamie’s (Sam Heughan) fight to protect those they love, as they navigate the trials and tribulations of life in colonial America. Establishing a home in the New World is by no means an easy task, particularly in the wild backcountry of North Carolina – and perhaps most significantly – during a period of dramatic political upheaval. The Frasers strive to maintain peace and flourish within a society which – as Claire knows all too well – is unwittingly marching towards Revolution.
