Once held twelve jobs in New York city and state government
simultaneously, running such agencies as the Triborough Bridge and
Tunnel Authority and New York City Parks Department.
Projects with which he was involved included Jones Beach and Lincoln
Center.

In 2007 the exhibition "Robert Moses and the Modern City" spanned three
NYC institutions: "Remaking the Metropolis" at the Museum of the City
of New York, "The Road to Recreation" at the Queens Museum of Art and

Wallach Art Gallery.
