Eduardo Victor Garcia
- Additional Crew
Eduardo Victor Garcia, known to his friends and family as Eddie, was born in 1992, raised between El Sereno, Montebello, and Covina California by his parents Eduardo and Michelle, as well as his grandmothers Olga and Shari. His father is an experienced Creator in the culinary arts and his mother is a Master of Interior Design, but the influence of the arts extends to many of his family members of all ages and proximity. His earliest memories are of the movies and TV shows of the 90's and the music of generations past, as he was raised listening to Rock and Roll, Classic Rock and Metal of the 60's 70's and 80's. Music was his first intro to understanding the power of meaning in words, that would shape his outlook of what finely crafted art is and what it's capable of accomplishing with the right phrasing. Songs like "The Battle of Evermore" (Led Zeppelin), "Mother" (Pink Floyd), "The End" (The Doors), and "Creeping Death" (Metallica) began to form in his mind, the beginnings of a fascination with storytelling and art forms centered on the written word.
Film played a significant role in exposing Eddie to the world outside of his bubble, his father enjoyed utilizing Film to teach his young son about the world and as a guidance tool through some of the more complicated situations life may present. This serious approach to Film made the young boy acutely aware of the lessons he could learn from the medium of film, and soon the love for this art form grew into a bit of an obsession. As a result, many movies affected him on a deep level, and to this day he can quote countless movies that helped give form to many of his values and ideas. It wasn't until age thirteen that these fascinations with words and film would be put into practice, when he began writing poetry after being inspired directly by the Oliver Stone film "The Doors". Over the last fifteen years, he has expanded his skill set into more stringently formatted storytelling forms such as Short Stories, Novellas, Film Screenplays, and Teleplays.
As a writer in the industry, he is pursuing the dream of creation and realization on the Big and Small screens with fantastic people on his team and amazing opportunities on the horizon.
