USA Network has ordered a slew of series including a bar competition series from Blake Shelton and Carson Daly, a social experiment fronted by former American Idol mentor Bobby Bones and an Alaska-set survival competition from the producers of Deadliest Catch.
Barmageddon sees Shelton and Daly head to Nashville to open the doors to Blake’s bar Ole Red. With Daly behind the bar and Shelton taking the stage with his house band for live music sing-alongs in front of a crowd, the series sees celebrity friends go head-to-head in a series of bar games with a fun twist, including Air Cannon Cornhole, Keg Curling, Drunken Axe Hole, Sharts aka Shelton Darts. It is hosted by WWE star Nikki Bella.
The series is produced by White Label Productions and Jlp Pictures with Blake Shelton, Carson Daly, Lee Metzger, and White Label’s Chris Wagner serving as executive producers.

IFC Films has acquired the U.S. rights to “Ottolenghi and the Cakes of Versailles,” the latest documentary film from “City of Gold” Laura Gabbert.
“Cakes of Versailles” follows the London-based Israeli chef and cookbook author Yotam Ottolenghi as he preps to organize a food gala for the Met exhibit “Visitors to Versailles.” In preparation, he travels to the actual Palace of Versailles and is possessed by a child-like curiosity as he gets a glimpse of the French monarchy’s decadence.

IFC Films has acquired U.S. rights to “Ottolenghi and the Cakes of Versailles,” a documentary about one Isreali chef’s attempts to recreate some of the French Monarchy’s most delicious desserts.

Deadliest Catch is shoving right off again. Discovery said today that Season 15 of it Emmy-winning docuseries will launch at 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, featuring a new captain and storm after debilitating storm.
The new season focuses on Dutch Harbor, a maverick Alaska town that has seen its share of upheaval. But this year, something is different in the air. A new boat blows into town, helmed by the no-nonsense Captain Steve “Harley” Davidson, who is rumored to know where over a quarter-billion dollars worth of king crabs is hiding. The rest of the fleet is left on the outside willing to do anything to get in on the score. Complicating matters, massive winter weather comes up and never really goes back down.
