WWE has released one of its most long standing Senior Officials Jack Doan, according to a report by PWInsider published today.
Doan has been a regular face on WWE programming for a number of years and in fact first worked for the company back in 1991 as a truck driver. Within no time he was promoted to collecting wrestlers robes from ringside and eventually began training as a referee. Within a year of driving equipment and rings from venue to venue Doan was a full time member of the WWE’s referee crew.
Over the years Doan has appeared in many a WWE storyline including being the first official attacked by Vader when he made his debut on Raw back in 1996 as well as trying to defeat Crash Holly in an impromptu match for the Hardcore Championship during the title’s dubious 24/7 rule.
