On September 22, the 10 finalists of “America’s Got Talent” season 15 will take the stage for the last time to show the audience why they should become the next million dollar champion act. The “America’s Got Talent” semifinals kicked off with a bang on Wednesday night (Sept. 16) as South Korean group BTS delivered a colorful and energetic performance of the hit song “Dynamite” on the NBC show.
The band members — comprised of Jungkook, Rm, V, Jimin, J-Hope, Suga and Jin — looked dapper in ’70s-inspired get-ups while meticulously hitting their marks as they danced against the backdrop of a gas station, a movie theater and a restaurant. Among the signage: a shout-out to Army, the band’s legion of devoted fans.
The performance on “AGT,” much like the song’s accompanying video, gave each member a chance to shine, from Jungkook (whose newly curled locks prompted his name to become a trending topic on Twitter) setting the stage atop a mock-up of the “AGT” judges’ table, to the blue-haired Rm inviting fans to the party strutting atop the roof of a gas station, then...

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the entire season had to be re-structured, including the all-important live shows. Several of the acts who initially auditioned online due to stay-at-home orders will now come to Hollywood to perform, despite there not being a live studio audience. After Simon broke his back, he was forced to miss the live shows as he recovered at home. Thus, the judges’ table consists of only Heidi, Sofia Vergara and Howie Mandel.

Since joining “America’s Got Talent” in Season 11, none of Simon Cowell‘s Golden Buzzers have gone on to win the show. Both Mandy Harvey (Season 12) and Michael Ketterer (Season 13) came the closest as they placed in the top five, but Simon is still waiting for one of his Golden Buzzers to pull out a victory. Could Waffle Crew end up being Simon’s winning act? This group of seven men from New York City blew everyone away with their eye-poppingly dangerous dance audition on the June 16 episode, and now they’ve been voted by fans as the best Golden Buzzer act of Season 15. Do you agree or disagree with “Agt” viewers’ poll results? Sound off down in the comments section.
