A new poster for the upcoming sci-fi thriller from director J.J. Abrams brings back the classic art house look prevalent on advertisements for Indiana Jones, Hook and other projects from director Steven Spielberg. In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined. Directed by J.J. Xtra Factor presenter Konnie Huq messed up massively on Sunday night’s show, when she told the final 16 X Factor contestants that they would all be appearing on the show’s tour this year.
Many Twitter users thought the revelation was a strange one, since normally only the top eight get to take part. However, later that evening Konnie was told that she had made a mistake and was forced to tell the finalists, including newly eliminated Fyd and Nicolo Festa that only eight of them would perform in the official concerts.
An insider told The Sun:
“All 16 acts were jubilant when Konnie broke the news as it’s a huge pay day.
“But when she told them she got it wrong they were absolutely gutted.”
Ryan Lee Seager, from F.Y.D. said: “Konnie made a mistake. She got someone whispering in her ear and had to say sorry.

X Factor eliminees Fyd have claimed that performing first on Saturday's live show hurt their chances of staying in the competition. The five-piece boyband, made up of Matthew Lawton, Kalvin Lamey, Alex Murdoch, Ryan Lee-Seager and Jordan Gabriel, were left in the bottom three on Sunday's results show before being eliminated by the judges' vote. "There's a big part in going on first - it would have been about the votes," Seager said. "Some people don't tune in for that first part, some people don't tune in until about eight o'clock (more)...

Members of Fyd have taken to their Twitter pages, to discuss their devastation at being eliminated from The X Factor last night.
Kelvin, Alex, Ryan, Matt and Jordan found themselves in the bottom three with Nicolo Festa and Katie Waissel. Nicolo was immediately eliminated, leaving the boys to compete in a sing off with Katie on the Sunday night results show.
They performed Rihanna’s ‘Please Don’t Stop The Music,’ but it wasn’t enough to win the judge’s favour and in the end, only their mentor Simon Cowell voted to save them.
Band member Matt Newtion admitted that he was upset by the news and tweeted:

On Friday we reported that actors Kyle Chandler and Elle Fanning would be joining the cast of the new J.J. Abrams science fiction thriller "Super 8". Although the story line is practically unknown, that won't stop Paramount from wrangling up the rest of the cast. Since they just began shooting yesterday, they can't go in front of the camera unless they have the rest of their cast lined up. That's why today they announced that Gabriel Basso, Ron Eldard, Noah Emmerich, Riley Griffiths, Joel Courtney, Zach Mills and Ryan Lee are joining the cast. Nobody's really sure what the story is about, although there has been a couple of good guesses that relate to something about Area 51."Super 8" is said to be coming out in theaters everywhere sometime in 2011 under Bad Robot and Paramount Pictures. Hopefully in the coming weeks we'll be able to find out more of what the story is really about.
