"Sometimes we have to do... things we don't want." Dark Sky Films + Framework Prod. have revealed the official trailer for the indie horror film Herd, made by filmmaker Steven Pierce. We posted a trailer for this a few months ago before its world premiere at FrightFest earlier this year. When a woman trying to outrun her past ends up trapped between a zombie outbreak (spread by a virus called "Heps") and warring militia groups, she is caught in a world where some fight for survival but others fight for control. This stars Corbin Bernsen, Timothy V. Murphy, Ellen Adair, Mitzi Akaha, and Jeremy Holm. This looks like it gets super gnarly in the second half with all the people in town turning against each other, not to mention the zombies. The film has been receiving positive reviews. Dark Sky adds: "Steven Pierce has crafted a film that brilliantly ratchets up...

Detective Knight: Independence completes the trilogy begun in Detective Knight: Rogue and continued in Detective Knight: Redemption. Although not the last of his films to be released, Assassin is slated for release in March, these were the last ones Bruce Willis made before announcing his retirement. So in a sense, it also concludes its star’s career.
The film opens with a bank robbery shot from the Pov of the robbers making it look like a first-person shooter, be sure to get the tie-in edition of Bank Robber Simulator at your local Gamestop. The robbery comes to a bloody end with Detective Knight (Bruce Willis) shooting the last of the gang while he holds a woman hostage.
Also on the scene are paramedics Dezi and Ally.

Detective Knight: Independence is written and directed by Edward Drake starring Bruce Willis and Lochlyn Munro.
Bruce Willis is back in one of his latest successes, repeating the role that made him famous: a police officer.
This sequel is a thriller with some interesting formulas such as the divided screen (a là Brian De Palma), but the story is more traditional, with lots of hand-held camera, realistic photography and a plot that is always as expected.
About the Movie Detective Knight: Independence
We love Bruce Willis and we grew up watching his movies and laughing at his jokes. These last (we repeat) no longer include jokes and, although he is at the head of the cast, is no longer the main character, he is more of a secondary figure, a star to watch in B Series movies, action thrillers that are rather de-caffeinated like this one, have action scenes that,...

Saturday Night Live fans are urging the sketch show to write a skit based on George Santos.
The US politician has been mired in controversy as of late. Santos is under investigation by Long Island prosecutors, after revelations surfaced that he lied about his religion, education and profession as he campaigned for office.
The Republican has publicly admitted to fabricating key details in his resume. He insisted, however, that he had not committed any crimes and intended to serve in Congress nonetheless.
For example, in his official biography, Santos claims to have graduated from Baruch College, New York City, with a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance.
In a statement sent to NPR, Baruch College said that they could find no match for a George Santos who was born on 22 July 1988 and graduated in 2010. Find out everything we know about George Santos here.

"We justice fails, in Knight we trust." Lionsgate has revealed one more trailer for the final film in this action thriller trilogy - this one is called Detective Knight: Independence, from filmmaker Edward Drake. This is the third and final film in the Detective Knight series, all featuring Willis as a Detective. I keep hoping all these bad Bruce Willis movies are done, considering his health, but nope there's always more. Bruce Willis stars as Detective James Knight in this final, tense chapter of the trilogy. Knight's last-minute assignment to the Independence Day shift turns into a race to stop an unbalanced ambulance Emt from ruining the day. The misguided vigilante, playing cop with a stolen gun and uniform, has a bank vault full of reasons to put on his own fireworks show… one that will strike dangerously close to Knight’s home. The cast also includes Jack Kilmer,...

Ana Navarro has a piece of advice for politicians who are attempting to hide potentially damaging financial transactions: use cash. The host of “The View” offered this up to Herschel Walker on Monday, after a report surfaced that the Georgia senate candidate reportedly paid for a former girlfriend’s abortion with a check.
This week, The Daily Beast reported that Walker, who has been vocally anti-abortion, paid for a girlfriend’s abortion in 2009, including images from the woman of a “Get Well” card Walker reportedly sent along with his check covering the expenses. Walker denied the report as a “flat-out” and “defamatory” lie, threatening legal action.
On Tuesday, Walker’s son Christian posted a video to Twitter, condemning his father actions and calling his lies “atrocious,” which the women of “The View” used to kick off the day’s Hot Topics discussion. First and foremost, Ana Navarro couldn’t get...

The rate at which Steven Spielberg has pumped out classic movies over his nearly 50-year career is astounding. From his directorial debut with "The Sugarland Express" in 1974 to this year's Toronto International Film Festival People's Choice Award winner "The Fabelmans," Spielberg has put out more bonafide classics than perhaps any modern director.
"Jurassic Park" may be Spielberg's greatest film of all. The 1993 adventure film's innovative special effects, amazing score, and strong cast help it stand the test of time. On paper, it's not surprising that a Spielberg film about dinosaurs rocked. Spielberg rocks, dinosaurs rock. It adds up.
But despite having a story with an absolutely killer premise, the success of "Jurassic Park" was not pre-ordained. It still required lots of hard work on the part of the cast, crew, and Spielberg himself. Spielberg especially had to work very hard to keep his actors motivated when they had to act...

"I'm the Sheriff of this county." "Don't forget who put you there." Vertical Entertainment has released the official trailer for American Siege, another of these junk Bruce Willis action movies he has been making non-stop for the last few years. This is from the same director as Broil and Cosmic Sin and Apex - all films which I hope none of you have paid to see. Here's the recycled plot for American Siege: An ex-nypd officer-turned-sheriff of a small rural Georgia town has to contend with a gang of thieves who have taken a wealthy doctor hostage. Bruce Willis co-stars with Timothy V. Murphy, plus Rob Gough, Anna Hindman, Johann Urb, Cullen G. Chambers, and Trevor Gretzky. This looks excruciatingly bad... And the only reason we keep featuring these Willis trailers is just to gawk at how awful they are + laugh at this absurdity. Here's the official trailer (+ poster...

It’s New Year’s Eve: Ben (Timothy V. Murphy) and Kat’s (Elisha Renee Sutton) last night in Los Angeles before heading to New York. He’s spearheading the move with a desire to rejuvenate his writing career after finding the growing chasm separating talent and fame in Hollywood too much to creatively bear. The change in scenery isn’t necessarily great for Kat’s career as a celebrity photographer, but she knows staying with Ben provides security for her young son Micah (T.K. It might be their final time together. An opportunity for fun—and difficult, unspoken truths.

The eight-episode action-comedy is based on Forte’s recurring MacGyver parody sketch on Saturday Night Live and its 2010 cult movie offshoot.
Co-written and executive produced by Forte, the series picks up after the titular character (Forte) was rotting in prison for over a decade and is finally free. His mission: to take down a mysterious villain from his past—Brigadier Commander Enos Queeth (Zane). With the entire world in the crosshairs, MacGruber must reassemble his old team, of Vicki St. Elmo (Wiig) and Dixon Piper (Phillippe) to defeat the forces of evil.
Zane’s Queeth is one of MacGruber’s mortal enemies. Long thought dead, he has resurfaced to carry out a heinous plot to destroy the world and, in the process, claim his revenge against MacGruber.
