Exclusive: Travis Barker, drummer in pop-punk band Blink-182 and paramour of Kourtney Kardashian, is full of tattoos and, more recently, diamond dental implants.
He now is turning these exploits into a television series.
Barker has partnered with Bullish Content, run by former Kinetic Content exec Paul Lima, and This Is Just a Test Media, the company behind TLC reality series I Am Jazz, to develop Inked and Iced.
The unscripted series will follow Barker’s new business venture with “diamond dentist” Dr. Tom Connelly, featuring celebrities and musicians undergoing high-end diamond dental implants while simultaneously receiving full-body tattoos, all while under anesthesia.
It’s not Barker’s first brush with reality television; the musician starred in MTV’s Meet the Barkers, which ran for two seasons, and is expected to star in the Kardashians’ upcoming Hulu series.

Paul Lima's whole life was subordinated to one event: his father was murdered. For more than a decade, Paul has dedicated himself to dealing with the sluggishness of the Honduran – and American – justice systems, trying to find the murderer and deliver punishment. The indolence of local police forces pushed Lima towards a private crusade. After The Murder Of Albert Lima, by Aengus James, is therefore a record of a personal investigation and struggle with trauma that even revenge cannot fix.
While this scenario sounds like perfect material for an action movie or a spy story, the documentary of an American artist is something completely different. There are no spectacular chases or shootings here – instead, the camera tracks the emotions of an orphaned and injured person, and from them natural tension arises. By focusing on seemingly uninteresting moments, conversations about his next moves, action plans and Paul’s memories of.

USA Network has ordered a fourth season of its thriller limited drama series The Sinner, with Bill Pullman set to reprise his role as Detective Harry Ambrose. Additionally, the network has picked up two new unscripted series, Instant Family (working title), starring Nicole Walters and Josh Walters, and The Rev (working title), headlined by Pastor Richard Hartley. Both are in the unscripted family sitcom genre, which the network has been focusing on following the success of Chrisley Knows Best.
The renewal and new series pickups are part of the current programming shift at USA away from ongoing scripted series toward more live and unscripted programming, along with “eventized” scripted projects, largely limited/anthology series.
This is a programming strategy that has been gaining momentum among basic cable networks as it is becoming increasingly challenging for premium scripted series to be sustained by the linear ad-supported cable business model.

If you were holed up in a cabin with your loved one during the apocalypse, what horrors would you find outside your long unopened door? That’s the question at the heart of writer/director Ben Wagner’s latest film, Dead Within, which Millennium Entertainment recently picked up.
A release date has not yet been set for this psychological horror film, but we’ll let Daily Dead readers know when one is determined. To get real results out of his actors, Ben Wagner filmed the movie in the tradition of The Blair Witch Project, placing stars Amy Cale Peterson and Dean Chekvala (both of whom helped write the script) in a real locked cabin wherein they had no idea what horror the filmmakers would throw at them. In addition to the film, a prequel comic illustrated by artist Alfonso Ruiz will soon be available, perhaps expanding on the apocalyptic events...

Building on three years of ratings growth, History has ordered several reality shows, including a spinoff of Thom Beers' top-rated "Ice Road Truckers."
Under the leadership of president and Gm Nancy Dubuc, History recently launched its 10 highest-rated series to date. She plans to continue the network's strategy of developing informative reality shows and headline-drawing event specials.
For next summer, Dubuc plans to introduce Beers' "Extreme Trucking," which takes the North American-based "Ice Road Truckers" format to locations worldwide where truckers navigate hazardous highways.
"There's an endless supply of dangerous roads, and they're in places where they're highly unregulated," she said.
History has given a green light to "American Pickers" (working title), planned as a companion series to its series "Pawn Stars, which set a year-to-date original-series record for the network Sunday night with 2.9 million viewers.
"Pickers" explores the world of antique and collectible hunters who travel the U.S.
