Tracy Manser is a British TV Production Executive based in Los Angeles with an "Individual of Extraordinary Ability" O1 work visa.
Starting her career in 1991 as a Personal Assistant and Office Manager, Tracy spent the first 6 years of her career in administration within Broadcast Television, Film, and Advertising before moving across to production. During these initial years, she also launched and ran a very successful 'virtual assistant' business for various celebrities and well known faces alongside her career.
In January 1997 she decided to make the move across to production as a freelance Production Secretary, working on one of the first programs commissioned for the newly launched terrestrial Channel 5. This quickly led to an offer of work at LWT as a Production Coordinator under the watchful eye of Nigel Lythgoe. By August 1998, Tracy was offered her first Production Managers role at Granada TV overseeing a million pound, peak time series, for ITV1.
Now with over 20 years' experience, Tracy has regularly overseen several productions running at once, looked after teams of just a few to over 150, been responsible for budgets from £20k / $30k to over £6million / $10million, negotiated deals with Crew, Talent, Locations and Suppliers, employment and production contracts, had responsibility for all Health & Safety, and has liaised with all of the major UK Broadcasters.
Working consistently on original, first run series and major re-launches within the areas of Light and Factual Entertainment, from Shiny-floor Studio to peak-time Reality, Talk Shows, Comedy, Gameshows and Documentaries, plus some Live programming, Tracy has built a solid back catalogue of popular and high profile peak time programming.
Tracy is a member of the UK Production Managers Association.
