Carol Vorderman was pictured with Matt Hancock at the Cheltenham races months after slamming his I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! appearance and calling him a “c**k”.
The former Countdown presenter was seen chatting to Hancock on the balcony of a hospitality suite at the Cheltenham Festival this week.
The duo were spotted together months after Vorderman joked about Hancock’s TV appearance.
“Well I’m on my way into the This Morning studio again to talk about Boy George with Boy George’s manager and to talk about the arrival about Seann Walsh and Matt Hancock,” Vorderman said in a video posted to her Twitter in November.
“Apparently, to say his name properly the ‘Han’ is silent. Who knew?” she added.
She captioned her tweet: “Practising saying Matt Hancock correctly.... apparently the Han in Han-Cock is silent.”
Hancock received plenty of criticism for his appearance on I’m A Celebrity.

The joke writers at Have I Got News for You have shared a brutal dig following the publishing of Matt Hancock’s WhatsApp messages.
On Thursday (2 March), the former health secretary broke his silence after messages were leaked to the Daily Telegraph by Isabel Oakeshott, the journalist who helped him write his pandemic memoir.
Hancock stated that he was “hugely disappointed” by what he said was a “massive betrayal and breach of trust”.
A post on the official Twitter account of the BBC comedy show Have I Got News for You on Thursday took aim at Hancock over the scandal.
“As Matt Hancock describes leaking of text messages as ‘a massive betrayal’, his ex-wife says she knows the feeling,” the post read.
In summer 2021, just before he resigned as health secretary, Hancock left his wife of 15 years, Martha Hancock, for Gina Coladangelo, the aide he was pictured kissing at work...

Matt Hancock was grilled about his I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! fee on Tuesday’s edition (31 January) of Good Morning Britain.
The former health secretary, who was responsible for setting Covid guidelines during the early stages of the pandemic, finished in third place in last year’s run of the celebrity jungle survival competition.
Hancock stood down in May 2021 after he was caught breaking social distancing guidelines by embracing his then-colleague, Gina Coladangelo.
His appearance on I’m a Celebrity resulted in him having the Tory whip suspended, as he also received a fierce backlash from public figures and TV viewers.
More recently, it was revealed that he received £330,000 for his participation in the show – £10,000 of which he donated to charity.
On Tuesday’s edition of ITV1’s morning news programme, Hancock denied that money was the primary factor in his choice to appear on I’m a Celebrity.

Matt Hancock has admitted that he knew joining I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! would be “controversial”.
The former health secretary, 44, whose stint in the Australian jungle prompted criticism from the Prime Minister and MPs across the political spectrum, entered the reality TV competition early this month as a late contestant.
He ended up coming third during the series finale on Sunday (27 November) behind the winner, former England footballer Jill Scott, and Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner as runner-up
Hancock claiming 21.7 per cent of the initial public vote and, during the post-series Coming Out Show on Thursday (1 December), said that ultimately “millions of people” voted for him.
The special reunion episode will show Hancock being reunited with his partner Gina Coladangelo and attending a wrap party for the show.

George Takei has addressed his Star Trek co-star William Shatner’s claim that he uses his name for “publicity”.
Last year, Takei mocked Shatner’s voyage to outer space, saying he was being used as a 90-year-old “guinea pig” to assess the impact of space on an “unfit” specimen.
Shatner responded to Takei’s comments, telling The Times: “I began to understand that they were doing it for publicity.
“Sixty years after some incident they are still on that track. Don’t you think that’s a little weird? It’s like a sickness.
“George has never stopped blackening my name. These people are bitter and embittered. I have run out of patience with them. Why give credence to people consumed by envy and hate?”

Viewers of I’m a Celebrity are elated after ex-Lioness Jill Scott beat Owen Warner and Matt Hancock to become queen of the jungle.
The 22nd season of the popular celebrity survival show drew to a close on Sunday evening (27 November).
Scott had been the bookies’ favourite to win for a considerable time ahead of the final, with the last odds placing her at 9/2 to win.
Narrowly missing out on the top spot was Hollyoaks star Owen Warner, who charmed viewers with his innocent world outlook and his struggle with hungriness while in the camp.
Before this final moment, however, Matt Hancock was eliminated, finishing in third place.
The polarising political figure had been the subject of much discussion during this season of the programme, with many expecting him to have been eliminated first.
However, the MP lasted 21 days in the jungle, having entered slightly later than most with comedian Seann Walsh.

Jill Scott has been crowned the winner of I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!’s 2022 series.
The result was announced by presenters Ant and Dec at the end of Sunday night’s episode.
Following the departure of Mike Tindall one day previously, three contestants had been left competing in the final episode: ex-England footballer Jill Scott, actor Owen Warner and disgraced Tory MP Matt Hancock.
The MP was revealed as the third-place finisher earlier in the programme after viewers saw the trio take part in three final Bushtucker Trials.
After an exit interview with the hosts, Hancock reunited with his girlfriend Gina Coladangelo on the bridge with a kiss and a hug.
Hancock’s involvement in the ITV reality series had been the main talking point for a series that saw production return to the Australian jungle after two Covid-struck years in Gwrych Castle, Wales.

Mike Tindall has become the eighth contestant to leave the 2022 series of I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
Saturday night’s (26 November) penultimate episode of the series saw Ant and Dec reveal which contestants had made it to the final.
At the start of the episode, which centred around the popular “celebrity cyclone” challenge, just four contestants remained: Tindall, Jill Scott, Matt Hancock and Owen Warner. The latter three have all progressed through to the final.
The night before, comedian Seann Walsh had departed the show. Earlier in the week, DJ Chris Moyles and comedian Babatunde Aleshe also bade farewell to the jungle.
Voting is now open for the I’m a Celebrity final, with the final set to air on ITV1 on Sunday night (27 November).

It was one of the most uncomfortable moments in recent television history. Comedian Seann Walsh and professional dancer Katya Jones are sitting opposite Zoe Ball, the host of Strictly Come Dancing’s sister show It Takes Two. Jones seems on the verge of tears; Walsh seems irritable, defensive. Neither of them wants to be there. “I’m sorry for the hurt that I caused,” says Walsh, grimacing. “I regret it deeply.” Then, later in the same interview: “I’m not the person I’m being portrayed as.”
This is 10 October 2018, four days after photos of Walsh and Jones kissing on a night out were splashed across The Sun’s front page. Walsh – who’d performed at the Edinburgh Fringe and made frequent appearances on panel shows such as Mock the Week – was one of the celebrity contestants on the hit TV dance contest. Jones was his professional dance partner. At the time,...

I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! contestant Mike Tindall has accused fellow campmate Matt Hancock of a surruptitious ploy to win more votes.
The ex-rugby player and widely disparaged Tory MP were both included in the Final Four for Saturday night’s (26 November) semi-final episode, competing to be voted through into the final.
Early in the episode, Tindall observed that Hancock had been quietly positioning his clothing and items so that his phone number was always facing the camera.
“Matt’s making sure his t-shirt and his phone numbers are on display at all times. Matt clearly wants to win,” he claimed.
“Have you noticed someone’s been advertising themselves? Matt’s been putting all his stuff with ‘Matt’ and the phone number pointing at cameras,” he pointed out to contestant Seann Walsh.
“Once a politician, always a politician. Always polling for votes,” he joked in the Bush Telegraph.

Jonathan Ross has said that Matt Hancock is “not a celebrity” despite the fact that the politician is currently starring in I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
Ross also ruled out interviewing the former health secretary on his eponymous talk show.
“No, I wouldn’t [interview him]. He’s not a celebrity,” the host told Sunday People.
“He’s a horrible human being and I cannot bear the way people take no responsibility for their actions.”
Ross added of the MP for West Suffolk: “He was very bad when he was in office and he’s – remarkably – even worse now he’s out of it!”
However, Ross did admit to “enjoying” the series so far, saying he was “more impressed by the women than the men”.
Hancock has faced intense scrutiny from fellow politicians, and had the Tory whip suspended, for joining the reality show at a time when Parliament is sitting.

Matt Hancock’s presence on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! has sparked 1,968 Ofcom complaints – but for two quite different reasons.
The broadcasting watchdog received the complaints between Tuesday 8 November (the day Hancock arrived) and Monday 14 November.
The majority of complainants, around 1,100, objected simply to the fact that the former health secretary is appearing on the show. Other viewers expressed concerns about how the MP is being treated by the other contestants.
A statement from Ofcom said: “It’s worth being aware that under our rules, in principle – and taking into account freedom of expression – there’s no ban on any particular person taking part in programmes.
“However, if the mere presence of a person is likely to cause offence, we would expect broadcasters to take steps to mitigate or justify that offence.
“How they do that editorially, is up to them.”
The Independent has contacted ITV for comment.

Miriam Margolyes has criticised the decision to cast Matt Hancock in the current series of I’m a Celebrity, saying she doesn’t know “why he was thought a proper person to entertain”.
The former health secretary’s appearance on the ITV programme has been met with widespread backlash, with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak admonishing him for abandoning his constituents.
Hancock resigned as health secretary last year after violating his own Covid regulations by having an affair with aide Gina Coladangelo. The pair were caught embracing on camera.

Matt Hancock was seen by a medic this weekend after being stung by a scorpion.
The politician, who is set to face his fifth Bushtucker Trial tonight, was stung on the finger.
An ITV spokesperson told The Independent: “Matt was stung on his finger by a scorpion earlier today in camp. It wasn’t poisonous and he was seen by a medic straight away and is absolutely fine.”
Earlier this week, Hancock told the celebrities in the camp he was looking for “forgiveness”.
The former health secretary became emotional while being criticised for breaking his own lockdown rules during Friday’s episode (11 November).
When TV presenter Scarlette Douglas asked him why he broke the rules, Hancock told her he was sorry, stating: “I fell in love with somebody.”
He told his campmates that he was not fined for the act as he “didn’t break any laws”, adding: “Guidance is different.

Matt Hancock has said there is “no excuse” for his actions during the pandemic but that he “fell in love”.
The former health secretary made his controversial debut on I’m a Celebrity on Wednesday (9 November). His arrival was met with tears from fellow campmate Boy George.
Hancock discussed his controversial past in politics with fellow campmate Babatunde Aleshe.
As former health secretary, Hancock was one of the faces plastered all over the newspapers during the pandemic.
He was criticised over elements of the government’s response to Covid, and in June 2021, found himself publicly disgraced after admitting to violating his own social distancing rules when his affair with aide Gina Coladangelo was exposed.
Asked “how have things been” by Aleshe, Hancock replied: “It was really tough.”

I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! hosts Ant and Dec wasted no time in making a dig at comedian Seann Walsh during Wednesday’s (9 November) episode.
Walsh joined the show as a “bombshell” late addition alongside former health secretary Matt Hancock.
The comic was embroiled in a cheating scandal in 2018 when he was filmed kissing his Strictly Come Dancing coach Katya Jones while the pair were in pre-existing relationships.
“And we all know what happened the last time Seann was paired up with someone on a reality show…” Ant said before Dec added: “Let’s hope he doesn’t get off with Matt Hancock!”
Feigning anger, Ant grabbed Dec and told him: “Never ever say the words ‘get off with Matt Hancock!’ I can’t even say the words.”

Boy George was left feeling conflicted after former health secretary Matt Hancock’s arrival in the jungle.
Hancock joined his I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! campmates for the first time during Wednesday’s (9 November) episode after arriving with comedian Seann Walsh.
There was an overall mixed reaction to Hancock’s arrival, who has faced criticism in the UK for joining the show while serving as an active Member of Parliament.
Boy George told presenter Scarlette Douglas: “You know, beginning of the pandemic my mum was in hospital. I wasn’t allowed to see her. I thought she was going to die.
“I was tweeting Greenwich hospital going, ‘Please look after my mum.’ I used my name, I was like, ‘Please look after my mum.’ And they did, she was fine… I feel like, I don’t want to be sitting here like I’m having fun with him.

I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! viewers are preparing for this year’s most controversial contestant.
Matt Hancock is taking part in the 2022 edition of the long-running ITV reality series, after reportedly being offered £400,000.
Over the past few years, the Conservative MP has been on TV many times – but for a flurry of negative reasons. As former health secretary, he was one of the faces plastered all over the newspapers during the pandemic.
He was criticised over elements of the government’s response to Covid, and in June 2021, found himself publicly disgraced after admitting to violating his own social distancing rules when his affair with aide Gina Coladangelo was exposed.
Hancock became a Tory MP for West Suffolk in 2010, and was appointed health secreary under Theresa May’s Cabinet reshuffle in 2018. After May’s resignation, he announced his plans to stand for party leadership, but soon withdrew from the race,...

The Conservative MP for West Suffolk was first elected in 2010 and served as head of the department of health under Theresa May and then Boris Johnson, finding himself at the centre of the storm when the Covid-19 pandemic first arrived on these shores in early 2020.

The Conservative MP, who resigned as health secretary last year after he was caught kissing his aide Gina Coladangelo, announced earlier this week that he would be featuring on the forthcoming series of the hit ITV reality show.
A report in The Sun quotes an inside source on the show as saying: “[Hancock’s]pay deal with I’m A Celebrity is around £400,000 which is one of the largest ever show fees to have been paid out.
“ITV were keen for viewers to think the deal was worth around £150,000 but in reality it’s over double that. They asked him to be on the show three times in a matter of weeks and the money definitely helped seal the deal.”

Tony Blackburn has joked that Matt Hancock might be taking part in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! to pay for “the soaring cost of his electricity bill”.
On Tuesday (1 November), it was reported that the former health secretary will be jetting off to Australia and joining the ITV reality TV series as a “bombshell” contestant alongside comedian Seann Walsh.
The news was then confirmed as Hancock was stripped of the Tory whip with immediate effect, with Rishi Sunak’s spokesperson saying that “the Pm believes that at a challenging time for the country, MPs should be working hard for their constituents in the House or in their constituencies”.
Appearing on Radio 4’s World at One on Tuesday, radio DJ Blackburn – who won the first series of I’m A Celebrity in 2002 – echoed the prime minister’s point.
