On Broadway, the Tony® Award winning productions on Broadway of "I Am My Own Wife" (and London & US tour), "Long Day's Journey Into Night" starring Vanessa Redgrave & Brian Dennehy, "Death of a Salesman" starring Brian Dennehy (including London) and productions of "The Crucible" starring Liam Neeson and "Victor/Victoria" starring Julie Andrews. Also on Broadway he was Production Supervisor for the Liverpool / Toronto / Broadway transfer of "Blood Brothers", along with management or marketing for over 120 Broadway shows where he is also is credited with leading the Broadway theatre industry into cyberspace in the early 1990s.

Toby is also Producer of the award-winning motion pictures, "Three Grams of a Dream (2012)" & "Dong's Photo Exhibition (2012)" and the TV show "DJ's LollyGag Garden (2004)" as well as the upcoming movie "Sacrifice". - Simkin was a member of the League of American Theatres and Producers.
- As of 2004, he was working throughout China, living in Shanghai developing a national theatre network and producing films and musicals for import and export.
- Simkin managed marketing and produced numerous shows for Microsoft. Other industrials include the SkyDome Opening Ceremonies; Volkswagen EuroVan Launch; Toronto Arts Awards and The Dinosaur World Tour.
- Simkin controlled worldwide rights to various film and stage properties, including the motion picture USD $14m budgeted film "The Sacrifice of Yang GuiFei" (based on the story of Yang GuiFei) along with "Tea 4 Two" and "The Great Big Chinese Show".
- Off-Broadway, he was Executive Producer of Savion Glover's NYC and national tours of Improvography I & II, Classical Savion, Matt & Ben, Savion at the Rialto and for Celebrity's Constellation in Europe, Batir, A Hot Minute (both directed/choreographed by Wayne Cilento), An American Canteen in Paris and Spotlight Broadway.
