Married at First Sight reunion host Kevin Frazier isn’t taking sides in the messy drama that has engulfed the Denver season. But that’s not to say that he doesn’t have an opinion about what went down both on camera and behind the scenes.

After Dennis Quaid accepted CinemaCon’s cinema icon award during the closing night Big Screen Achievement Awards, host Kevin Frazier surprised the veteran actor with a birthday cake as the crowd inside the Colosseum sang “Happy Birthday.”
Quaid turned 70 on Tuesday, and it was a fitting celebration for the star, who was feeling particularly reflective about where he’s at in his life and career at this chapter. “I’m on my sixth decade in this wonderful business,” Quaid said in accepting the honor, which arrives as he has The Long Game in theaters this weekend and the release of Reagan on the horizon. “To tell you the truth, I really do feel like I have more fun. This might be the messiest reunion in Married at First Sight history.
On Wednesday, the Denver cast came together to hash out all the drama from their chaotic season. Things were tense from the start. Four of the five women banded together to defend themselves against their ex-husbands, who they claimed were manipulative and deceitful during their brief marriages.
The men fired back, insisting that the women were not being transparent about what really went down behind the scenes on the Lifetime reality show. Sorting out the truth in the game of “he said, she said” was nearly impossible, and host Kevin Frazier didn’t hesitate to make his exasperation with the cast clear, especially once he learned that they’d all been working together to try to mislead the show’s producers about what was really going on in their marriages.

Brie Larson lived out her dream at the Golden Globes when she encountered Jennifer Lopez on the red carpet.
While being interviewed by Kevin Frazier for Entertainment Tonight, the Oscar winner spotted JLo and got emotional at the idea of being in close proximity to the “Waiting for Tonight” singer.
“Oh my God! I can’t deal with JLo,” Larson said as Frazier motioned Lopez to step up to the Et podium.
Frazier tried to calm Larson down, telling her that “we all get this way” and that he had almost cried as well.
“No, I can’t. I’m going to cry,” Larson said as Lopez made her way up the steps and the Captain Marvel star covered her face with her hands, trying to contain her excitement.

Michael Mann’s Ferrari has raced onto screens this holiday season. The director enjoyed his time working with his star Adam Driver and will even work with him again on his next film, Heat 2. Ferrari garnered a 74% critical rating on Rotten Tomatoes with our own Chris Bumbray saying in his review, “While I assume Mann might have originally planned a more ambitious, sprawling Ferrari biopic, I’m not sure that one was needed. This does the trick pretty well, with it also, as usual for the director, impeccably shot. It’s a very enjoyable, entertaining look at one of the most important names in 20th-century automobiles and an often thrilling depiction of just how dangerous a sport of auto racing can be.” You can read the rest of his review Here.

Classic rock songs can be deceitful above all things. Today, Elvis Presley’s “There Goes My Everything” sounds like it’s about his divorce from Priscilla Presley. Here’s a look at the star who actually inspired the song and what its writer thought about the “All Shook Up” singer covering his tune.
Elvis Presley’s ‘There Goes My Everything’ was about another celebrity’s divorce
“There Goes My Everything” was written by songwriter Dallas Frazier. Frazier is perhaps most known for writing and performing the original version of The Oak Ridge Boys’ “Elvira.” During a 2017 interview with The Tennessean, he discussed the genesis of the former. “It was born out of a divorce, and fortunately not mine, but a good friend of mine, Ferlin Husky,” he said. “It was the first song I wrote when I came to Nashville, Tennessee.” Husky was a country star who had hits in the 1950s,...

On Saturday, Jenelle Evans‘ ex-husband, Courtland Rogers, reportedly suffered from an overdose in his Wilmington, North Carolina, home.
Rogers, 37, was found unresponsive and naked in his bathroom by his wife Lindsey Frazier. Frazier said her husband locked himself in the bathroom while she was with her kids out of the house. She tried doing CPR and did not have any Narcan, a drug used to reverse overdoses, to revive him. No drugs or paraphernalia were found at the scene.
Rogers survived the incident.
Rogers has been open about his drug history, saying he suffered five overdoses. He has also stated that heroin “ruined his life.”
Rogers was married to the Teen Mom Evans for two years. Evans remarried David Eason in 2017, while Rogers remarried Frazier in 2019.

Across a career that spanned four decades and saw him earn two heavyweight titles and a gold medal at the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City, George Foreman cemented his legacy as one of the greatest boxers of all time. But despite having one of the most remarkable stories in sporting history to work with, Big George Foreman manages to stumble sluggishly from one chapter in his life to the next in a way that’s neither insightful nor entertaining.
George Tillman Jr.’s film plays out largely as a by-the-numbers biopic, charting Foreman’s rise from a troubled Texas youth to a title-winning boxer, then a born-again preacher, then a title-winning boxer again. Khris Davis, previously seen testing out his pugilistic skills on poor Donald Glover in Atlanta, plays Big George from the end of his teenage years to his remarkable comeback as the world’s oldest-ever heavyweight champion at the age of 45.

Biopics about star athletes or artists tend to have the same broad shape: the rise to achievement and fame, the fall from triumph (often fueled by some combination of addiction and ego), the restoration to a harder-won glory. A great biopic, like “Get on Up” or “I, Tonya,” will tease a profound portrait of the subject out of that form; a middling one will oversimplify the subject just to hit the right beats. But then there’s a film like “Big George Foreman: The Miraculous Story of the Once and Future Heavyweight Champion of the World.” That’s not a movie title — it’s the title of a parable. And it’s well chosen, since “Big George Foreman” is about a life that feels so outlandishly ready-made for the ups and downs, the lessons and inspirations, of the superstar biopic genre that you don’t even have to mess with it.

So often thought of primarily as the big lug who was so dramatically dispatched by Muhammad Ali in the famous “Rumble in the Jungle” in Zaire in 1974, George Foreman is the main event in Big George Foreman. While there is plenty of boxing here to satisfy sports fans, the film is mild-mannered and genial to a fault as it charts the life of a dirt-poor Texas kid with a devastating punch whose public image transformed over the years from hulking bogeyman to that of a good-natured businessman and man of God.
Ali was such a commanding, entertaining and (mostly) adored worldwide figure, from his emergence as the self-anointed “greatest” to his ultimate status as one of the most beloved and admired men on the planet, that it isn’t easy to watch him take a back seat here to a younger but less charismatic figure onscreen. When "Rocky" hit theaters in 1976, a good portion of the public was enthralled by the sport of boxing. Though some were repulsed by the violent spectacle of two human beings pounding the tar out of each other with eight-ounce gloves, heavyweight title fights drew huge television ratings worldwide, thanks in large part to the prominence of master self-promoter Muhammad Ali. His return to the sport, after being suspended for refusing to serve in the Vietnam War on religious grounds, resulted in a trilogy of unforgettable bouts with Joe Frazier and a rope-a-dope masterpiece against George Foreman. These fights were inspirational displays of intestinal fortitude fueled by searing emotional stakes. To lose the world heavyweight title on a global stage was to suffer a grievous blow to one's pride. Throwing in the towel was unthinkable. The only way Ali, Frazier or Foreman could allow themselves to lose was by knockout or decision.

Despite such, Lindy says she is proud of herself for taking a leap and participating in the experiment. “Neither of us regret getting married at first sight and are happy we experienced a genuine connection.

About eleven months ago, we heard that filming had begun on a supernatural horror movie called From Black, starring Anna Camp of the Pitch Perfect films, the HBO television series True Blood, and A Creepshow Holiday Special. The filmmakers did not have a distribution deal in place when they went into production on From Black, but they quickly secured one – and now it has been announced that From Black will be available to watch on the Shudder and AMC+ streaming services as of April 13th!
The narrative feature debut of Thomas Marchese, who previously directed the documentary Fallen, From Black will tell the story of what happens when a young mother, crushed by guilt and shame after the disappearance of her young son five years previously, is offered a bizarre opportunity to learn the truth and set things right. The movie asks whether she is she willing to pay the...

After years of pandemic-necessary calendar shifts, outright cancellations, and toned-down events, awards season is back in full force. One dependably early season event that just made its triumphant return, more or less in business-as-usual mode: the Palm Springs International Film Festival’s annual Film Awards Gala.
Launching even before the Golden Globes (and following both the Gothams and the NYFCC gala), the annual event has long been considered as a friendly space for Oscar nomination frontrunners to work out their skills giving an acceptance speech in front of a large audience at the Palm Springs Convention Center — an audience that just so happens to include a sizable amount of Academy members.
For its first show since January 2020 (and the 34th overall) the Psiff Film Awards Gala on Thursday evening not only handed out trophies to 2022 favorites like Michelle Yeoh (“Everything Everywhere All at Once”) and Colin Farrell (“The Banshees of Inisherin...

In Palm Springs they do it all a little differently. At least that is the impression you might have gotten if you attended Thursday night’s 34th annual International Film Awards gala that kicked off the Palm Springs Film Festival, back in action for the first time since January of 2020, just weeks before Covid would shut everything down. However, the bejeweled and upper crust of Palm Springs society were gathered again at the massive Palm Springs Convention Center to celebrate a select group of stars who not so coincidentally happen to be among the most buzzed of Oscar contenders.

“Entertainment Tonight’s” Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner will host the Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards gala on Jan. 5.
The Emmy-winning duo — who also hosted the Daytime Emmys earlier this year — take over emcee duties at the Palm Springs gala from former “Et” anchor Mary Hart.
“The Palm Springs International Film Awards has partnered with ‘Entertainment Tonight’ since 2004, and over those 18 years, Mary Hart has done an amazing job as host of the show,” said Psiff chairman Harold Matzner in a statement. “Due to her schedule, she is not able to be with us this year and she will be missed.”
Matzner continued: “We are very excited to continue our partnership with ‘Et’ having both of their on-air anchors Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner join us as co-hosts. They will have big shoes to fill, but I know they will make this a fun and memorable evening!”

What happens when an innocent person gets stuck in a slow-moving legal system?
Law & Order Season 22 Episode 9 asked that question, and the answers it gave were disturbing.
After a man had been incarcerated for 18 months while awaiting trial for murder, his attempt to fight back led to tragic consequences, and all the guilt in the world couldn't undo what had been done.
In recent years, crime dramas have often examined the problem of racism in the police force. Many cop shows feature police harassing Black citizens or suspecting them unfairly. Often, Black cops on these shows end up feeling caught between two worlds.
While these are important stories to tell, the police are only one part of the legal system, which also includes judges, lawyers, correctional officers, and wardens. As a series that features both the police and prosecutorial side of the system, Law & Order could examine the entire system,...

The “Criminal Minds” Behavioral Analysis Unit is back in the upcoming revival series, “Criminal Minds: Evolution.”
The crime drama series follows Bau’s elite profilers as they face a mysterious antagonist, an UnSub who used the pandemic to build a network of serial killers. When the network is set in motion, the team must bring down their greatest threat, one murderer at a time.
Joe Mantegna, Kirsten Vangsness, A.J. Cook, Paget Brewster, Aisha Tyler and Adam Rodriguez star as their characters from “Criminal Minds,” while Zach Gilford and Josh Stewart appear as recurring roles.
CBS’ original “Criminal Minds” series, which ran from 2005 to 2020, followed the Bau squad as they investigated and analyzed the nation’s most dangerous serial killers and individual crimes. Matthew Gray Gubler and Daniel Henney — who played Dr. Spencer Reid and Special Agent Matt Simmons, respectively — are not yet confirmed to appear in the reboot.
