Josiah Daniel Solis has always had a vivid imagination from a young age. Drawing was his first artistic outlet before entering High School where he experienced a renaissance of artistic exploration. From learning how to act, sing, play musical instruments, and write screenplays, the one artistic endeavor that won his heart was filmmaking. Josiah Daniel Solis began writing screenplays during his Junior year of High School and decided that he would pursue filmmaking professionally. After High School, he spent two years doing religious and humanitarian work overseas in Uganda, Africa, and Cambodia in South East Asia but his desire to make films was only strengthened. Josiah Daniel Solis then entered The School of Cinema and Media Arts at Biola University in the Fall of 2017 and excelled in his academic studies and cinematic projects. Josiah's primary emphasis in Film School was writing, directing, and editing on non-linear video editing software. As of 2023, Josiah Daniel Solis has completed two original films: a medical documentary and an award-winning, SAG-AFTRA affiliated short film.
