Geezer Butler has revealed that he and Ozzy Osbourne are in agreement on playing one final Black Sabbath concert. The bassist also said that he has been in touch with Osbourne almost every day, following a long period of non-communication.
Butler opened up about the possibility of Sabbath reuniting for a final concert in a new interview with SiriusXM’s Eddie Trunk.
“Of course there’s an interest [on my part to do it], but there’s a big ‘but’ — you’d have to speak to Bill [Ward] about it,” Butler said [as transcribed by Blabbermouth], referencing the founding Sabbath drummer, who didn’t partake in the band’s final 2016/2017 concerts. “Everybody wants to do it [but I don’t know if he is] capable [of pulling it off].”
Osbourne has said that he hopes to play one more show with Black Sabbath’s original lineup. Butler also shares that sentiment.
“Ozzy was hoping to finish it all off next year back in Aston, at the Aston Villa [football stadium in Birmingham],” Butler said. “I’m definitely up for it,...

Netflix’s newest action comedy, Obliterated, from the Cobra Kai creating trio of Jon Hurwitz, Josh Heald and Hayden Schlossberg, co-stars Nick Zano, Shelley Hennig and Terrence Terrell as part of an elite special forces team who wake up with a massive hangover and are tasked with saving Las Vegas from a nuclear threat.
In conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, the trio (separately; their answers are combined) reveal what it was like behind the scenes of the thrill-ride adventure series, withstanding Navy Seal training in the sweltering 120-degree Albuquerque heat, doing their own high-octane stunts, and how filming on the Las Vegas Strip — among real vacationers, tourists and pedestrians alike — added an element of authenticity to the scenes.

What attracted each of you to this role?
Shelley Hennig: At the time, I was in the middle of this really intense drama, and I felt like the next project I wanted to do was a comedy.

Plot Synopsis: What Happens In The Show?

Plot: Obliterated is a high octane action-comedy from the creators of Cobra Kai that tells the story of an elite special forces team who thwarts a deadly threat to Las Vegas. After their celebratory party, filled with booze, drugs and sex, the team discovers that the bomb they deactivated was a fake. The now intoxicated team has to fight through their impairments, overcome their personal issues, find the real bomb, and save the world.
Review: When an elite team of special forces, commandos, and spies team up to save the day, that is usually the end of the story. The credits typically roll on a happy ending once the bad guy is killed and the world is saved. The new series Obliterated looks at what happens when that celebration is premature in a blend of the team action of The A-Team with the drug and alcohol-fueled excess of The Hangover.

Especially in its early installments, 24 used to build in a midseason pause. Jack Bauer would achieve what he thought was his goal — securing the bomb, identifying the conspiratorial kingpin, etc. — and then, after enough time to take a breath but not enough time to use the bathroom, he would discover a Bigger bomb or realize that behind the apparently Big Bad was a Bigger Bad. Gasp!
But what if, instead of merely taking that breath, Jack Bauer had celebrated securing yet another victory for America by doing the keg stand to end all keg stands or dropping a tab of acid — and only then figured out that he still had half a day’s worth of torture, cliffhangers and mountain lions in store?
That — or perhaps just “It’s The Hangover as a ’90s action movie!” — is the hook for Netflix’s new series Obliterated, from the Cobra Kai trio of Jon Hurwitz,...

Netflix has released the first trailer for its upcoming action comedy Obliterated, which hails from the creators of megahit Cobra Kai.
The wild and fast-paced trailer is a two-minute tease that asks what it would be like if 24 and The Hangover crossed over. Starring Nick Zano and Shelley Hennig, the eight-episode series follows an elite special forces team after they believe they’ve saved the world from a nuclear bomb threat.
But upon waking up — and with a nasty hangover, no less — the team receives a call that the threat they neutralized was a fake and they have only hours to find and thwart the real one. The problem is, much of the team hasn’t quite sobered up, meaning they must fight through a wall of bad guys, their own personal issues and a few substance impairments to locate the real bomb and save the day.

Zz Top were never really a ballad band. Think “La Grange,” “Tush,” and “Legs.” But for 1986’s Afterburner they tried their hand at a power ballad with “Rough Boy” — this was the Eighties after all. Earlier this week in Nashville, Keith Urban put his own spin on “Rough Boy” at a special event honoring Zz Top’s Billy Gibbons.
Urban was in attendance for the annual BMI Troubadour dinner, an industry event held each September by the performing-rights org to salute a select artist as its “Troubadour.” Last year’s went to Lucinda Williams,...

Ace Frehley recently gave Paul Stanley a week to apologize for a disparaging comment, but apparently all he got back from the Kiss singer-guitarist was a good old-fashioned “Fuck you!”
To quickly recap, last month Stanley told Howard Stern that a reunion with original Kiss members Frehley and Peter Criss would sound like “Piss.” Frehley, appearing on Eddie Trunk’s SiriusXM show last week, threatened to spill “dirt” on Stanley and Gene Simmons if he didn’t get an apology within seven days.
As promised, Frehley returned to Trunk’s show today (April 5th), a week later, with an update. When asked by Trunk if Stanley responded, Frehley said, “Yes, he did, not long after the show was over. I was blindsided by the phone call. … But instead of an apology, I got a five-second phone call which said, ‘Fuck you, Ace. I’m not going to apologize,’ and hung up.

Ace Frehley has blasted back at Paul Stanley after the latter insinuated that a Kiss reunion with the guitarist and drummer Peter Criss would sound like “Piss.”
In a new interview with SiriusXM’s Trunk Nation with Eddie Trunk, the former Kiss axeman gave Stanley an ultimatum: If he doesn’t receive a formal apology within seven days, he’s going to uncover dirt on Stanley and Gene Simmons publicly.
Frehley is referring to inflammatory remarks made by Stanley during a recent appearance on The Howard Stern Show when Stern asked why Kiss didn’t perform at their Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2014.
“They were demanding, quite honestly, that we play with the two original guys, Peter and Ace, and at this point, that would be demeaning to the band, and also would give some people confusion,” Stanley said. “‘Cause if you saw people onstage who looked like Kiss but sounded like that,...

Exclusive: A backpacker’s battle to escape the locked boot of a car and regain her memory is to be the plot of Amazon Prime Video’s latest German movie.
In high-octane thriller Trunk (working title), Sina Martens will play Malina, who wakes up disoriented to discover to her horror that she is missing more than her memory. With her mobile phone as her only link to the outside world, she wages a desperate battle for survival as the vehicle races inexorably towards a terrible mystery. Even if she makes it – she will never be the same.
The movie has echoes of claustrophobic single-location action features such as Ryan Reynolds’ Buried and is being produced by German indie Outside the Club. Marc Schießer is writing, directing and producing and Tobias Lohf will also produce.

If you were a fan of Thing Trunk’s 2018 dungeon crawler Book of Demons (check out our review here), they’re back! Teaming up with Skystone Games, they’ve announced Hellcard, a cooperative roguelike deck builder that’s aiming for a 2023 release on PC via Steam.
Set in the same universe as Book of Demons, Hellcard sees you and up to three players descend into papercraft-styled dungeons to take on the evil hordes and defeat the Archdemon. Players can also go solo and descend into the dungeons on their own, recruiting computer-controlled companions along the way.
What separates Hellcard from other card games is that in the battles, monster placement actually matters and can be used to your advantage (if you’re up to the strategic challenge). Your team of heroes has its own strengths and weaknesses, each with an ever-growing deck of abilities and equipment to use on the battlefield.
