Harris Salomon is a dynamic and highly creative producer whose credits
include, news, live anytime talk, reality and dramatic television. He
is also an experienced professional, with extensive contacts in all
facets of television program development and distribution. He recently
finished production on a national series he produced with his own
company for the Travel Channel ("Famous Footsteps" hosted by Craig
Wirth of NBC News) and works as a producer for Japanese National
Television in New York (producer of reality shows and dramatic
programming).
Over the years, he has produced the "Dr. Ruth Show" for Lifetime Television, "The Everyday With Joan Lunden Show" for national syndication and the "Afterdrive With Dennis Leary Show" for Comedy Central. Mr. Salomon was the senior producer on the "CBS Morning Program" with Mariette Hartley and Rolland Smith. He was a network news producer and writer for years at ABC News and CBS News. His credits also include New York producer for "Real Stories Of The Highway Patrol" and line producer for the nationally syndicated reality series, "Firefighters."
Mr. Salomon spent several years in local television news in the New York market working as newscast producer at WWOR-TV and WNYW-TV. His developed television projects include, "Behind Bars," "Sting With Rick Besseler" "The Sally Kirkland Show," and "The Geraldine Ferraro Show." Harris Salomon also developed a morning talk show hosted by the most popular host on British television, Carol Smillie. He is a graduate of the University of Bridgeport (television/film). Mr. Salomon is a CableAce Award nominee. Harris Salomon is single and lives in New York.
