The mystery celebrity dressed as Poodle on “The Masked Singer Australia” has been revealed.
The show’s judges — Mel B, Abbie Chatfield, Dave Hughes, and Chrissie Swan — were visibly shocked on Wednesday’s episode after “Beverly Hills, 90210” star Tori Spelling was unveiled as the woman inside the costume.
Chatfield had already guessed Spelling, but changed her answer to Kyle Richards.

What’s your favourite Australian film of the last decade?
That’s one of the questions Aacta is putting to the general public over the coming week as voting opens for its new Audience Choice Awards.
In contention for the film award are: Peter Rabbit, Red Dog, The Sapphires, The Great Gatsby, The Water Diviner, The Dressmaker, Lion, Ride Like A Girl and Mad Max: Fury Road.
While many of those nominated correspond to the Academy’s own ‘Best Film’ winners over the past 10 years, there are some notable exclusions – 2016’s Hacksaw Ridge, 2018’s Sweet Country and 2019’s The Nightingale.
The Favourite TV Drama of The Decade category sees each broadcaster score two nods – bar Sbs, who were snubbed. They include 10’s Offspring and Neighbours, ABC’s Mystery Road and Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, Foxtel’s Top of the Lake and Wentworth, Seven’s Molly and Home and Away,...

A Playmaker Media drama starring Jessica Marais and a reality series which reunites people with long-lost family members are among six new Australian shows for Network Ten in 2016.
The line-up includes Australian Survivor, All Star Family Feud, the spin-off I.m A Celebrity. Get Me Out Of Here! Now, and the previously announced telemovie Brock.

Stynes and Lukis start on Tuesday
Sydney’s Mix 106.5 will finally put its new breakfast duo of Sami Lukis and Yumi Stynes on air this Tuesday – nine days after the first official radio ratings period of 2013 began.
The duo – Sydney’s first all-female FM breakfast team – were named for the slot by station by owner Australian Radio Network at the end of last year. The move came after the previous lineup split with Claire Hooper leving the station and Tim Ross moving to national drivetime.
Mumbrella understand that the pair, who have not previously worked together, have been in off air rehearsals as they work to build up chemistry.
The show will target a 25-44-year-old female demographic.
Stynes said in this afternoon’s announcement: “We’re very different people with our own take on life but we feel like we’ve been friends for years”.

In this roundup from the Encore and Mumbrella Annual, we look back at the year in radio.
2012 begins with 2DayFM shock jock Kyle Sandilands in a continuing sponsorship shit-storm. Jenny Craig is the first to sponsor the Kyle and Jackie O breakfast show after advertisers withdrew from the program in late 2011 following Sandilands’ vitriolic on-air rant at a News.com.au journalist that included calling her a ‘fat slag’. The public response to the weight loss brand’s decision to advertise sees them cancel their ads 24 hours later.
——————————————————————————————————–
Claire Hooper and Tim ‘Rosso’ Ross start their new partnership on Sydney’s Mix106.5 breakfast show as Jane Hall joins Chrissie Swan on Melbourne’s Mix101.1 breakfast show.
——————————————————————————————————–
The Kyle and Jackie O Show opens the year with a ratings drop from 11.2 per cent to 10.1 per cent. Elsewhere, Adelaide’s Mix 102.3 clings to a market lead ahead of FiveAA.

Tonight is the final episode of Nine’s first outing of Big Brother. With 300 crew members, 42 cameras and almost 90 hours of television broadcast each series, there is no TV production quite like it. Stynes, left, has been axed while Swan will continue the show with Jane Hall
Broadcaster Yumi Stynes this weekend saw the completion of one of the most dramatic career reversals in memory.
In the space of three weeks Stynes has gone from being one of the few presenters with a daily radio show and a daily TV show to seeing Ten axe The Circle and being dropped from Mix FM’s national afternoon radio show.
After her television job came to an end with the axing of The Circle, it emerged today that Stynes has been dropped from the nationally networked 3Pm Pick-Up which she co-hosted with former co-star of The Circle Chrissie Swan.

Ten has ripped up its TV schedule for next week in a last minute move to cope with the desperately poor ratings of its reality contest Everybody Dance Now.
Sunday’s episode of the Sarah Murdoch-fronted show has been cut from 90 minutes to an hour.
Monday’s episode of the FremantleMedia-produced show has been dropped altogether.
The last minute switch comes after the show rated a metro audience of just 598,00 for its first episode before falling to 304,000 and 324,000 – remarkably low numbers for a primetime network show.
The changes have reverberations through Ten’s schedule.
The premiere of Don’t Tell The Bride, fronted by Kate Richie, has been brought forward from Tuesday to Monday to fill the hole left by Everybody Dance Now.
The premiere of the new series of Can Of Worms hosted by Chrissie Swan remains at 8.30pm on Monday.

Ten has pulled the plug on The Circle and cut Breakfast by half an hour. The gap left by The Circle will be mainly filled with Us content.
The Circle will end on Friday. Ten boss James Warburton said the decision was for financial reasons.

Curious goings-on during an ad break for Nine’s Sydney broadcast of The Logies. The network aired an ad for Arn’s radio station Mix just before 9.30pm.
Which would have been a pleasing marketing investment to see for Mix 106.5′s Sydney breakfast team of Tim Ross and Claire Hooper.
Except it was a promo for Mix 101.1′s Melboune breakfast team of Chrissie Swan and Jane Hall.
Dr Mumbo suspects that the phone call to the Nine sales team for a makegood is coming right… now.

The Circle is believed to be suffering since the departure of Chrissie Swan. The Logie Award-winning TV presenter quit the Channel Ten chatshow last year in order to concentrate on her children and launch her radio career. Her departure is said to have "damaged" the reputation of the series, according to industry insiders. The Circle's ratings have plummeted in 2012, averaging only 56,000 viewers compared to 187,000 on the Seven Network's Morning Show and 104,000 for the Nine Network's new Mornings series. Chrissie Swan has described her time on The Circle as "brutal". The Logie Award-winning Australian television personality, who quit the Channel Ten chatshow after the birth of second child Kit six months ago, said that she loved the job but had "nothing left" at the end of the day for him and 3-year-old son Leo. Swan told the Herald Sun: "For me, at this time, I just couldn't maintain it and I didn't even realise until I had Kit. It's different when you've got two [children]. The nine-hours-a-day daily grind was just too much for me and because [The Circle] is a national show, we didn't have any holidays at all. "We (more)...

Channel Ten executives have revealed that they are not going to replace Chrissie Swan on The Circle immediately. The Australian television personality, who was nominated for a Gold Logie award last year for her role on the chatshow, decided last December to quit the show in order to host Mix FM's breakfast slot. Comedian and Celebrity Apprentice Australia winner Julia Morris was believed to be taking over after Swan recently sent her a Twitter message saying: "Gah! Is it true? Taking my spot on The Circle? I hope so! You'll Love those girls. Good luck!" However, Ten sources have told the Herald Sun that there is "no rush" to confirm a new host. Instead, they are reportedly (more)...

"Seeing your new baby for the first time really is one of the best moments in life. There's been a mystery for 40 weeks as to who's in there and, all of a sudden, you get to see them.
