SYDNEY -- The Seven Network, which is struggling to retain its second-ranked position after a tough year in the ratings, has announced a large raft of locally produced programming for next year. The network's drama slate includes new young-adult series "Last Man Standing" and a miniseries titled "Through My Eyes", which tells the story of the disappearance of Azaria Chamberlain through the eyes of her mother, Lindy Chamberlain, who is collaborating on this project with the producers. Actor Sam Neill will direct one of a new series of comedy-drama telemovies based on the Shane Maloney novels about Murray Whelan, a divorced father embroiled in dangerous, sometimes criminal goings-on -- including murder. David Wenham will play Whelan. Event reality series include "Italian Job", in which couples compete in renovating a villa in Italy, and "My Restaurant Rules", which has couples racing against each other to start up a restaurant from scratch.
