Actress Megha Shankr did make an impact with her acting prowess in the hit film “12th Fail” starring Vikrant Massey, however, she aced her debut walk on the runway too as a showstopper at the Lfw x Fdci. Medha turned muse for Geisha Designs by Paras and Shalini in collaboration with Lakmé Salon collection “The Elemental Symphony” on Day 3.
Hrithik Roshan’s girlfriend and actress Saba Azad and Imaad Shah of the band Madboy / Mink once again brought their disco funk to the stage as Medha strutted the runway.
Talking about her runway debut, Medha said: “I was very excited. It’s a very big name but when I was on stage, I was very comfortable and at ease. It was a great and a memorable experience.”

Charlie Chopra & The Mystery Of Solang Valley
Starring Wamiqa Gabbi, Priyanshu Painyuli, Naseeruddin Shah, Lara Dutta, Neena Gupta, Ratna Pathak Shah,Gulshan Grover, Paoli Dam, Vivaan Shah, Imaad Shah
Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj
Being an ardent fan of Agatha Christie’s timeless whodunits I was so looking forward to what Vishal Bhardwaj has done to one of Christie’s lesser known murder mysteries The Sittaford Mystery.
But, hell, what is this?!
The thing about Agatha Christie is, even if you’ve read the novel and know who the killer is, you can still return to the story and be just as enthralled by the characterization and plot development as the first time.
In Charlie Chopra, it ceases to matter after a few episodes who the killer is. After a point, you just don’t care about this family of dysfunctional gold diggers. Each of them could have killed Brigadier Meherban...

The trailer for the second season of the International Emmy nominated show, ‘Made in Heaven’, which was unveiled on Tuesday promises riveting storytelling laced with grandeur, drama, dark secrets, and the societal problems that cut across the spectrum and class.
The trailer was launched at a five star property in Mumbai’s Santa Cruz area and saw a heartfelt performance by the band Bombay Brass on the beautifully decorated set ahead of its launch.
The trailer begins on an aesthetic note with all things beautiful and elite, bringing a bit of nostalgia from the Zoya Akhtar directorial ‘Dil Dhadakane Do’. It shows the drama in elite circles surrounding big fat weddings.
This time Shobhita and Arjun’s titular wedding planning establishment has new entrants most notably in the form of Mona Singh’s character of the auditor who comes with no filter and puts things as they are without a grain of sugar coating.

A demand for LSD made by one of his actors during the shoot of their film M Cream left director Agneya Singh in complete shock. After all, when the debutant director kept stressing on his actors to bring realism to their characters in their scenes, little had he imagined that it would get him into a far more complicated situation than he had bargained for.
Now, there are several instances when actors have gone that extra mile to get under the skin of their characters. So, actors taking to alcohol to play alcoholics, or actors following certain diets to look the part is quite acceptable and even encouraged by the filmmakers. However, Agneya Singh was at a loss of words when one of the actors on the sets of his upcoming film M Cream requested him to get them some LSD while shooting to infuse some realism in one of the crucial scenes.

In writer-director Agneya Singh’s first feature film, M Cream, four entitled, privileged Delhi twenty-somethings — Maggie (Auritra Ghosh), Niz (Raaghav Chanana), Jay (Ira Dubey) and Figs (Imaad Shah) head off on a road trip in search of a mythical drug, M Cream. Along the way, they have the opportunity to explore political issues, hook up with an aging American hippie (played by theatre director Barry John), attend a rave, take an LSD trip in an orange grove, write some poetry, and save some trees.
Singh’s film attempts to explore the effects of a changing India on his own young generation, and wants to show us how they, as a generation, navigate and make sense of those changes, and how they learn to adapt to the world – or, how they make their world adapt to them.
The film asks, in a sense, what it means to be a rebel or a revolutionary.

We loved the 1940’s groove of Calcutta Kiss from Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! when it first hit and now we can say we love it even more now that we have seen the video! It features the super talented Lauren Gottlieb who jives and jitterbugs to the beat in this footloose-with-a-flair number.
Composed by Madboy/Mink (Imaad Shah & Saba Azad) a cool clarinet completely sets the music apart and when you add in the acoustic guitar, synthesizer and drum machine set to interesting Raj era laden lyrics you have a song which makes you want to move.
With glimpses of the film, this video is awash with a delightful and innovative black and white blend with a dash of colour that will make you re-imagine a 1940s period club with a contemporary vibe!

So to kick off the album, we have Calcutta Kiss, sung by Imaad Shah and Saba Azad. The song has some lovely jazzy flavours, that includes instruments like the trumpet, drums, piano and the guitar. I found it to be a very unconventional song for Bollywood, yet at the same time, I very much enjoyed it. I appreciated the unique styles and tone of the song which is very pleasurable to hear.

The iconic Howrah Bridge in Kolkata was commissioned 72 years ago on Feb 3, and on the occasion of its birth anniversary, a unique tribute was given by a flash mob act put together by 50 dancers. This also was a unique song launch event for a film for the first time ever. The first song from Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! ‘Calcutta Kiss’ was played in the background, as the dancers, dressed in ethnic wear danced to the song’s peppy beats.
Commissioned in 1943, the Howrah Bridge was a replacement of the pontoon bridge linking Kolkata and Howrah, over the river Hooghly. It was the fourth longest cantilever suspension bridge in the world at the time. The national monument is important for the film because Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! is set in the year 1943 when the world was engulfed in World War II.
‘Calcutta Kiss’ has been sung by Imaad Shah, Saba Azad with music and lyrics by Madboy/Mink.

Film: "The Reluctant Fundamentalist"; Cast: Riz Ahmed, Shabana Azmi, Om Puri, Kate Hudson, Kiefer Sutherland, Liev Schreiber, Martin Donovan, Nelsan Ellis, Imaad Shah, Adil Hussain, Haluk Bilginer and Meesha Shafi; Director: Mira Nair; Rating: ** 1/2
The film, based on the acclaimed novel of the same name authored by Mohsin Hamid, is a typical Mira Nair film in terms of the cascade of colours, textures, frames and characters. Unlike the novel, the films is a blunt, slow and pretentious work of art.
It's about the meteoric rise and fall of a Pakistani migrant in the Us.
The film begins with an intimidating situation, where an American professor at Lahore University is kidnapped. The CIA with the help of Bobby.

New Delhi, April 22: If he makes no bones about losing the lead role in "The Reluctant Fundamentalist" because of his "long hair and beard", a contrast to a "sophisticated Wall Street guy", Imaad Shah is equally frank in admitting that his actor father Naseeruddin Shah is his "idol".
Son of Naseer and Ratna Pathak, the actor-musician features in the Mira Nair-directed "The Reluctant Fundamentalist" as a Pakistani student. Based on Pakistani author Mohsin Hamid's novel of the same name, the film, releasing in India May 10, has Riz Ahmed in the lead role.
"Initially, I was called to play the lead role. The director loved.
