- The 1912 Biograph Company groundbreaking gangster film short The Musketeers of Pig Alley (1912) heavily influenced director Martin Scorsese in the making of his own gangster films Goodfellas (1990), and Gangs of New York (2002). The film was picked by Scorcese for his 2005 tribute at Beaubourg, centre d'art et de culture Georges Pompidou (1977) in Paris, France, as one of his favorite films. Biograph is the oldest movie company in America and in existence today.

- In 1980 when Bond was 16 years old, he was offered the host position on the network show Kids Are People, Too (1978) without submitting for the host job. Bond was picked over 2,000 teenagers who did submit for the show.
- In 1985 with the help of silent movie actress Blanche Sweet, he acquired the 'Biograph Company [us]' aka 'American Mutoscope & Biograph Co. [us]' which is the oldest movie company in America, established in 1895. He is President/CEO of 'American Mutoscope & Biograph Co. [us]'.

- On May 12th, Bond's company (Biograph Co.) was awarded a resolution from the City of Los Angeles recognizing his company's 100th year anniversary since it was established in Los Angeles.
- In 2006, Bond was appointed "Friar Minister General" of the Order of the Friars for the legendary show business club, the Friars of Beverly Hills. However, less than a month later, Bond resigned the position due to ethical differences with the club management. The California Friars has since disbanded and is no longer in existence.
- He was heavily influenced by family friends directors Mervyn LeRoy, and Frank Capra, to whom he owes most of his knowledge in directing and producing.
- Bond is continually assisting the American Film Institute (AFI) [us] in film preservation efforts through his company, Biograph Company[us].

- In April of 2005, the 2.8 ton monument dedicated to Bond's company (American Mutoscope and Biograph Co.) for its first movie made in Hollywood "In Old California" 1910, was stolen and is no longer there. However, it was found almost one year later near a garbage dumpster not far from where it originally stood. Because of this vandalism, and the disregard for the monument and the importance of this Latino based film, the company disassociated itself with the district of Hollywood, and moved its corporate headquarters to downtown Los Angeles. Today, Biograph is located in Beverly Hills, California.
- On May 6th, 2004, Bond's company (Biograph Co.) received a monument at 1716 N. Vine Street commemorating the filming of the first movie in Hollywood made by American Mutoscope and Biograph Co. "In Old California (1910)".
- He was a film teacher/instructor for CCA California charter schools, and for underprivileged young people.
- In 2001, he authored a text book on film and production for young people aspiring to become filmmakers. The book was used extensively in CCA California charter schools.
