While The Game Awards are usually pretty hard to predict (especially by awards show standards), this year’s event happens to feature an especially eclectic collection of nominees that could all just as easily walk away with the show’s top prizes.
A combination of delays and strange circumstances deprived this year’s Game Awards show of its most obvious “frontrunners,” which means that we’re all left guessing which of the year’s greatest games will end up being the biggest winners at what is quickly becoming the video game industry’s version of the Academy Awards.
Since only a fool would dare to predict which games are going to come out on top of this very strange year, here are our predictions for the winners of The Game Awards 2021’s biggest categories.

Just in case you missed it, Jordan Kimball is a male model. The Bachelorette contestant, or self-proclaimed pensive gentleman, makes sure to remind everyone of his occupation every chance he gets — but he solidified his place as this season's villain by getting (almost) completely naked during cocktail hour. The 26-year-old suitor ditched his suit and catwalked outside in a pair of tiny briefs and his dress shoes to surprise Becca Kufrin because he clearly needs to be the center of attention at all times. "I'm ready to blow the group away. I'm going to do more with less," Jordan said before taking it mostly all off. "To be honest, nothing attracts a woman more than being comfortable next to a sexy man. After this, there is going to be a target on my back." Right... There’s more than one way to pluck a chicken. We guess. #TheBachelorette pic.twitter.

Mystic River flows full of death, misery, and the depths of depression. In other words, something we think of when we consider high drama. Director Clint Eastwood holds a firm hand on the tiller as he guides his cast through some fine acting and grand moviemaking. Sean Devine (Conner Paolo), Jimmy Markum (Jason Kelly), and Dave Boyle (Cameron Bowen) are playing hockey in the street when they lose their ball down a sewer drain. In their boredom the boys take out a pocket knife and carve their names in some wet cement. Dave gets .D. and .A. written in the cement when a car pulls up. A man gets out of the car and claims to be...
