Marcia de Rousse, who recurred as Dr. Ludwig on HBO’s True Blood and appeared with Kate Beckinsale in The Disappointments Room, has died. She was 70. Her reps at Beverly Hecht Agency said she died September 2 after a long illness.
The diminutive De Rousse got her start in the 1981 Chevy Chase-Carrie Fisher comedy Under the Rainbow and went on to appear in episodes of The Fall Guy and St. Elsewhere during that decade. She had a few roles in the 2000s before being cast in True Blood as Dr. Patricia Ludwig, who treated illnesses acquired by supernatural beings. She appeared in three episodes from the second, fourth and seventh season, last seen fleeing at the mention of Niall Brigant’s name.
In The Disappointments Room, de Rousse played a local historian who informs Blacker Estate buyer Dana (Beckinsale) that her new house’s previous occupants had a secret “disappointments room” in the attic,...

The very long wait is almost over, and we are so ready to get back into the ring!
Heels Season 1 set things up beautifully for the story to continue, and today, Starz released the trailer and key art for Heels Season 2.
Let me tell you, this season does not disappoint!
Premiering on Friday, July 28 at midnight (Et) on the Starz app, Heels Season 2 makes its linear debut on Stars at 10/9c on the same day.
Starring Stephen Amell (Arrow) and Alexander Ludwig (Vikings), the small-town sports drama series is based on a wrestling league in rural Georgia and the family dynamics that brought it to life.
Heels is aptly named after the wrestling term for a villain or antagonist. Most stories center around heroes vs. villains, but in wrestling, it’s faces vs. heels.
Season two brings fans back to the family-owned wrestling organization, Duffy Wrestling League (Dwl), where brothers...

The official trailer for “Heels” Season 2 is finally here, and it’s clear we’re in for an emotional ride.
The sophomore season, which premieres July 28 on Starz, picks up after Jack Spade (Stephen Amell) has been through the ringer in his personal life after parting ways with his family. Meanwhile, his brother, Ace (Alexander Ludwig), is nowhere to be found.
“Who am I? A man who’s wife and son have left him and doesn’t know where is brother is,” Spade says in the trailer. “I don’t know what I have to do to find the guy that I was before, [but] I’m gonna figure it out.”
While Jack — and fans of the family-owned wrestling organization — question how to move forward without his brother at his side, Jack leans on his Duffy Wrestling League (Dwl) family as the group battles outside threats and Jack steps back into the ring.

Ironmouse has beaten her own record and cemented herself as Twitch‘s most subscribed to female streamer–and most subscribed to VTuber.
The streamer (who began broadcasting 2017 and is a founding member of VTuber talent group VShojo) just peaked at 172,093 active subscriptions, beating her March 2022 peak of 171,818, per Dexerto.
Both that previous peak and this one were reached during subathons. Ironmouse’s current monthlong subathon began June 1 and is raising awareness and money for the Immune Deficiency Foundation. It’s a cause close to her: she has a form of primary immunodeficiency called common variable immune deficiency (Cvid).
“We did it bros,” Ironmouse tweeted about surpassing her previous peak. “We crushed last year’s record! I love you guys! Thank you for all the incredible support and thank you for watching! Today has been a magical day!”
According to TwitchTracker, Ironmouse’s surge in subs potentially makes her the most...
