The nine remaining couples on “Dancing With the Stars” hit the dance floor in costume as vampires, werewolves and skeletons on Tuesday night, which also happened to be Halloween.
The season’s first dance marathon gave the points edge to Marvel star Xochitl Gomez, who had been tied at the top of the leaderboard with “Vanderpump Rules” star Ariana Madix after their solo dances.
For her gothic Argentine Tango, Madix was a harpy and Pasha Pashkov was a harpy slayer as they danced to an instrumental version of “Bad Guy” by Billie Eilish. Guest judge Niecy Nash proclaimed it was “amazing” and “so beautiful,” adding, “I am obsessed with you.”Bruno Tonioli raved, “This is how you do it!” of the note-perfect dance. Carrie Ann Inaba told Pons, “I think you have what it takes to win it.

It’s monster night on Dancing with the Stars, but I can tell you what wasn’t the least bit freaky in this week 6 episode: that bitchen, skull mirror ball hanging over the ballroom! Also not scary: guest judge Niecy Nash-Betts without a pair of Spanx on her hips; the Emmy-nominated star of Netflix’s Dahmer – Monster (get the connection to Monster Night?) claimed that she made the frightening decision to forgo the Lycra before before dressing up as Jessica Rabbit.
Speaking of which, where was your costume, host Alfonso Ribeiro? Co-host Julianne Hough came gussied up as some hooded widow, but you donned a serious, all-black dress shirt, tie and suit. Were you disguised as a member of the AMPTP negotiating committee? Now that would be scary.
Time for the tricks and treats!

This article contains spoilers for the Oct. 24 episode of “Dancing With the Stars”
On Tuesday night’s episode of “Dancing With the Stars,” Mira Sorvino and her daughter recreated the trio dance from “Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion” and the first 10 scores were handed out.
Sorvino’s 18-year-0ld daughter Mattea, who is part of a dance company, joined her mom and her partner Gleb Savchenko for a far less goofy version of the much-gif-ed routine from the 1997 comedy. Bruno Tonioli said the routine, which was set to “Time After Time” by Cyndi Lauper was “beautiful,” and Carrie Ann Inaba said it “tugged on her heartstrings.” It earned the actress, who currently costars on “Shining Vale,” a 22/40 and her first “8” score of the season.
The theme of the evening for Week 5 was “Most Memorable Year,” with each of the 10 remaining celebrities choosing a song that meant a lot...

It’s been six months beloved judge Len Goodman passed, but Dancing with the Stars isn’t ready to say goodbye just yet.
Though Tuesday’s theme was Most Memorable Year, the Week 5 episode was really meant to honor Goodman, who died from prostate cancer in April at the age of 78. After airing a sentimental package featuring past pros talking about what an honor it was to be both complimented and criticized by Goodman, the episode then featured a dance tribute to “Moon River” that was waltzed to perfection by current pros and past faves Kym Johnson, Anna Trebunskaya, Karina Smirnoff, Edyta Sliwinska, Tony Dovolani, Louis van Amstel, Maks Chmerkovskiy and Mark Ballas.
It ended with the troupe gesturing to an empty middle chair on the judges’ dais. Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli wept.

It looks like it might be bad news for “Brady Bunch” star Barry Williams. As of this writing he gets leading odds of 19/10 of being eliminated from the competition. He was one of the three celebrities in jeopardy last week when the final results were announced along with Lele Pons and Adrian Peterson. That doesn’t necessarily mean Williams was actually in the bottom three, though. Peterson was eliminated, so all...
