Wynonna Judd is set to star in a feature-length documentary for Paramount+ that will follow the legendary singer as she navigates the next phase of her life and career following the untimely passing of of her mother Naomi Judd.
Beginning with the decision to honor her mother’s legacy by continuing on with “The Judds: The Final Tour,” “Wynonna Judd: Between Hell and Hallelujah” captures candid onstage and behind-the-scenes moments as part of the sold-out nationwide tour, along with personal anecdotes from Wynonna’s friends and fellow artists Ashley McBryde, Brandi Carlile, Faith Hill, Little Big Town, Kelsea Ballerini, Martina McBride and Trisha Yearwood. CMT and CBS have set the date for the 2023 CMT Music Awards, airing Sunday, April 2, 2023 live from Austin, Texas’ Moody Center for the first time.
The fan-voted show and Paramount Global’s signature country music tentpole will again be on CBS and be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
Kelsea Ballerini will return as co-host for a third consecutive year. Her plans were revealed tonight during an onstage moment with Carrie Underwood as part of Underwood’s sold-out The Denim & Rhinestones Tour stop in at Moody Center.

The event, helmed by CMT and Sandbox Productions in partnership with the late legend’s family, will air live and commercial free on CMT at 7 p.m. Edt from Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry. Lynn, 90, died at her home in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, on Oct. 4.
Hosted by NBC’s Today co-host and family friend Jenna Bush Hager, the evening will also include performances and appearances from Barbara Mandrell, Lynn’s sister Crystal Gayle, Darius Rucker, Emmy Russell and Lukas Nelson, Faith Hill, Margo Price, Martina McBride, Sheryl Crow, Tanya Tucker, The Highwomen (Carlile, Amanda Shires, Natalie Hemby and Brittney Spencer) and more artists to be announced later.

ABC has set the fourth installment of its successful Singalong franchise with The Queen Family Singalong. Hosted by Darren Criss, the special one-hour, one-night-only event will air at 8 p.m. Thursday, November 4.

The third edition of Disney’s singalong franchise has announced its first round of performers. The Disney Holiday Singalong will have Andrea Bocelli, BTS, Michael Bublé, Ciara, Chloe x Halle, Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert, Julianne Hough, Adam Lambert, Leslie Odom Jr., Katy Perry, P!Nk and Kerry Washington lending their talents to the festive special. Additional appearances will be announced at a later date.
The show also returns Ryan Seacrest as host. It will air Monday, Nov. 30 from 8-9 Pm Et/Pt.
Adding to the merriment is Disney on Broadway, returning to the New Amsterdam Theatre for the first time since March. The members of the Broadway casts of The Lion King and Aladdin will join with the North American touring companies of Frozen. Disney Music Group’s seven-member a cappella group DCappella also join for some seasonal sounds, caroling throughout the show and encouraging viewers at home to sing along.
