Bungie currently has all hands on deck for the release of The Taken King expansion – the largest of the DLCs thus far and big enough to warrant a physical release – and ahead of the Twitch reveal of the Dreadnaught Strike tomorrow, a new Destiny teaser for the mammoth add-on has appeared online that even features our first inkling of what Nolan North will sound like in the role of Ghost.
Having supplanted Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage to voice the AI companion – Dinklebot is no more, sadly – it’s understood that North, the industry veteran that he is, will re-record all lines of dialogue for Ghost as Bungie aim to develop the character in a new direction.

As for tomorrow’s live event, Design Lead James Tsai and Bungie Community Manager Deej (David Dague) will host it, at it will begin in earnest at 11:00am Pacific Time.

In a weekly blog post, Bungie has labelled the recently-released patch for its share-world shooter Destiny as “the biggest yet.”
Weighing in at 2.2Gb in size, the update introduced an array of bug fixes in the studio’s space-faring adventure, all the while preparing the servers for the release of The Dark Below expansion in a couple of weeks.
“Update 1.0.3 was our biggest yet. We hit every major system that makes Destiny work with new content or bug killing agents.”
Perhaps the most enticing feature about this week’s patch — which went live across all platforms on Monday — is the return of the Iron Banner multiplayer event. Though many Guardians were left disappointed by its initial debut last month, Bungie has assured fans that version 2.0 is a bona fide challenge. One that seemingly ramps up the difficulty like never before.

While I was sure (and I'm sure many of you were, too) that Walter would reveal the secret to Peter last week, he chose not to, burning the tell-all letter instead. Of course, Fox's promo department didn't keep us hanging long regarding when (and if) Peter would find out. He does next week!, they hastened to tell us not a minute after "White Tulip" completed.
"I'm not from here, am I?" Peter utters in the promo, making the understatement of the week. Of course, how he finds out was still left up in the air, though I don't think Walter tells him. No, I think that it's Thomas Newton, the shapeshifting soldier from the Other Side, who tells him instead. After all, Newton's playing a kind of major role in the episode. Just look at the press release!

Fringe's second season has really been getting into the mythology of the series while maintaining the week-to-week theme of a procedural. Episode 2.18 of the series, "The Man from the Other Side," is obviously one of those episodes — you can just tell from the title. The "Other Side," along with "Over There," is a term often used on the show to delineate the alternate universe which has been causing such a big problem for our characters. You know, big problems like shape-shifting soldiers taking on the appearance of Olivia's dead partner and plotting to kill her.
Those soldiers haven't been seen much since "Grey Matters," where they briefly kidnapped Walter. They're led by Thomas Newton (Sebastian Roche), who is also a shapeshifter. The one thing I'm still not sure about them, though, is what exactly they are. We know that they're at least partially robotic — they bleed mercury and can...
