You’re not gone until you’re gone. At least that’s what I told people when they realized it took eight seasons for “Fear the Walking Dead” to wrap up.
“Fear” bested predictions and became one of the longest-running television spin-offs currently on air. While ratings dwindled and characters were written off over the years, it maintained a decent cult following — some tuning in for Alycia Debnam-Carey, who came into her own as an actress on the show following “The 100,” while others begrudgingly watched to keep up with the “Walking Dead” universe, after characters like Morgan (Lennie James), Dwight (Austin Amelio) and Sherry (Christine Evangelista) were transferred from the original series.
A key to its success, “Fear” never shied away from a soft reboot. Every season tackled a new approach to its storytelling, sometimes in the span of a few episodes. Early seasons of “Fear” felt migratory even,...

Of all the terrible things Victor Strand has done throughout his time shifting allegiances on Fear the Walking Dead, acting like he didn't know Madison is one of the worst.
Fear the Walking Dead Season 8 Episode 7 filled in the blanks about what became of the villain after his ill-fated tower imploded, and it was another meandering episode of this once-hot zombie drama.
Pulling off such a reunion between Madison and Anton Strand was no easy feat, and for the first time in a long time, Madison felt like the leader we left when Kim Dickens was unceremoniously written out of Fear the Walking Dead Season 4.
Despite the attempts from current showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg to fix the damage they caused to the show and its fandom by discarding Dickens, Fear the Walking Dead Season 8 has been a waste of time.

It all comes down to this, Fear the Walking Dead fans.
AMC on Wednesday went public with the official trailer for the final six episodes of its hit Walking Dead spinoff.
One thing that's certain after Fear the Walking Dead Season 8 Episode 6, the show is being handed back to the OGs.
Kim Dickens' Madison Clark is back at the center of the action and'll be reunited with Colman Domingo's Victor Strand.
The good news?
They look to be working together, which means they've probably managed to overcome the awkwardness of Strand's mad power grab last season.
Also back in the mix is Daniel Sharman's Troy Otto, the man Madison bludgeoned to death on Fear the Walking Dead Season 3.
So, how did he return? We're not sure, but it looks like he has Alicia's prosthetic arm.
When fans last saw Alicia, she was on a beach with the arm,...

‘Fear the Walking Dead’ Final Episodes Trailer: Troy Returns to Take Everything From Madison (Video)
“It can’t end like this!” If the “this” in that exclamation is with many walkers and much more trouble from them (and humans) for the survivors in the final six episodes of Fear the Walking Dead, well, yes, it looks like it can. The trailer and key art for Season 8B, which will premiere on Sunday, October 22 at 9/8c on AMC and AMC+, has been released. The series will end with back-to-back episodes on Sunday, November 19. When people show up looking for Madison (Kim Dickens), Victor (Colman Domingo) has a choice to make in the trailer. “The wolves are circling,” he tells her upon finding her. “I came here to help you.” AMC And she’s going to need all the help she can get because Troy (Daniel Sharman), despite seemingly being killed off in Season 3, is back. “You’re outnumbered. You’re outgunned. This doesn’t end well,...

“Fear the Walking Dead” is promising major reunions and bigger zombie fights for its final few episodes, if this first trailer is anything to go by.
Season 8’s “All I See Is Red” ended with Madison (Kim Dickens) starting to rebuild the base Padre. This new trailer picks up right where the episode left off with Victor (Colman Domingo) returning to her side and vowing to help her rebuilding efforts. But Victor isn’t the only one who’s back.
The first half of Season 8 ended with a mysterious someone listening to Madison’s broadcast. That teaser showed this stranger had the prosthetic arm that belongs to Madison’s daughter, Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey). We still don’t know if Alicia is alive or dead, but we know who that mysterious stranger is.
Troy Otto (Daniel Sharman), the man Madison believed she killed way back in Season 3, appears in this final trailer.

If you needed proof that Troy Otto cheated death on Fear the Walking Dead Season 3, we finally have it.
AMC has shared a teaser trailer for the final six episodes of Fear the Walking Dead Season 8, and Daniel Sharman is well and truly back.
Madison (Kim Dickens) seemingly killed Troy several years ago with a devastating blow to the head from her hammer.
Fear the Walking Dead Season 8 Episode 6 teased someone coming after Madison and her people after listening to her calls as the leader of Padre.
Troy seems to have revenge on the mind as he tells Madison that she took everything from him and is seemingly in control of an army of walkers.
Revenge will surely be on his mind because it's no coincidence that the rest of his family were killed shortly after she started living at his family farm with her kids.

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for Fear The Walking Dead Season 8 Episode 6, “All I See Is Red.”] Apparently, it takes more than several hammer blows to the head and a flooded dam to keep a sociopathic antihero down. Assuming that was who we think it was, Fear The Walking Dead has dropped an explosive twist for the second half of its final season. In the last few minutes before the credits rolled, we saw a faceless survivor in possession of some very special trinkets. Some of those items provide key clues to the person’s identity, and we feel comfortable claiming that the show’s final antagonist might just be none other than… Troy Otto (Daniel Sharman). Here’s why we think that mysterious survivor is Troy — and a brief reminder of who Troy is, in case you’ve forgotten. Richard Foreman, Jr/AMC Wait, How Do You Know That’s Him? Sure, it’d be...

If you love the 1980s – specifically, the neon-lit, Talking Heads-blaring, Delboy swagger of the 1980s Cockney – then Sky’s new crime thriller A Town Called Malice is right up your street.
Meet the Lords
Created by The Sweeney’s Nick Love, this eight-part drama centres on the Lord family, a South London gang whose criminal heyday might be behind them, but who are still up for causing trouble. After a spot of bother with a rival gang (and leaving a policeman for dead), they flee to Spain’s Costa del Sol to lay low, and in amongst the pina coladas and palm trees realise they have a chance to recapture their former glory and become criminal top dogs once more.
The series premiered on Sky Max at 9pm on Thursday 16th March, and the full box-set is already available to watch on Now.

Netflix's latest series will delve deep into Arthurian legends.
The streamer on Tuesday unveiled the full-length trailer for Cursed, and there's a lot to like.
Based on the New York Times bestselling book, Cursed is a re-imagination of the Arthurian legend, told through the eyes of Nimue, a young woman with a mysterious gift who is destined to become the powerful (and tragic) Lady of the Lake.
After her mother's death, she finds an unexpected partner in Arthur, a humble mercenary, in a quest to find Merlin and deliver an ancient sword.
Over the course of her journey, Nimue will become a symbol of courage and rebellion against the terrifying Red Paladins, and their complicit King Uther.
Cursed is a coming-of-age story whose themes are familiar to our own time: the obliteration of the natural world, religious terror, senseless war, and finding the courage to lead in the face of the impossible.

Netflix has dropped a new trailer for the third and final season of ‘Medici: The Magnificent’.
The eight-part final series sees Lorenzo (Sharman) as the undisputed leader of Florence, who faced Popes and Kings to become the first man in history to unite economy, culture and politics in one great vision that put Florence at the very centre of Europe.
Whilst at the peak of his power, Lorenzo is troubled, seeking revenge for the tragic death of his brother killed during the ‘Pazzi Conspiracy’. He is lost and distant from his faith and he feels he’s the only one that can save his family, his city and the enormous artistic treasure he built. Medici: The Magnificent shows the power of art and beauty as driving forces behind Medici rule. The series shows the journey of a man who falls many times before he can find himself again.

Italian TV is traveling around the world as never before, and giving audiences a deep dive into the country’s locations. They range from storied cities such as Rome, Venice, Naples and Milan to classic countryside backdrops, including Tuscany and Umbria. There is also the southern sensuality found in Apulia and Sicily, and, of course, the Mediterranean coastline and the Alps.
Almost all of which are making their way into long-form narratives of different scopes.
Stefania Ippoliti, who heads the Tuscany Film Commission and concurrently presides over umbrella group Italian Film Commissions, says the org’s 17 member regions have joined forces “to make our services more homogenous, even in terms of [streamlining] applications.”
Besides on-the-ground assistance, Italy’s film commissions also manage local funds of different types and sizes that offer up roughly €60 million ($66 million) a year in soft money on top of Italy’s 30% cash-back tax credit with a $22 million cap.

Medici season 2 is on its way to Netflix.
Medici Season 2, which is called Medici: The Magnificent, will star the one and only Sean Bean alongside Daniel Sharman, who's perhaps best known for his role as Isaac in MTV's Teen Wolf. Bean is more of a baddie in season 2, so the odds of him dying are even higher than usual (and they're always in the 90% range).
In the first season, Richard Madden and Dustin Hoffman led the cast, but season 2 will fast-forward twenty years, when 15th century Florence was in the grips of the Renaissance.

Netflix has unveiled a first-look at period drama Medici: The Magnificent starring Game of Thrones’ Sean Bean and Teen Wolf’s Daniel Sharman.
The show is the follow-up to Medici: Masters of Florence, which starred Bodyguard’s Richard Madden and Dustin Hoffman.
The second season of the Italian drama, which is set in 15th century Florence, takes place 20 years after the first season and is set in the heart of the Renaissance through one of the most important historical figures of all times, Lorenzo the Magnificent. An attempt on Piero de Medici’s life forces his son Lorenzo, played by Sharman, to assume leadership of the family-run bank. Once in power, young Lorenzo, nicknamed The Magnificent, resolves to do things differently, which swiftly brings him into conflict with the head of Florence’s other powerful banking family, Jacopo Pazzi, played by Bean, who will stop at nothing to defeat Lorenzo The Magnificent.

Italy’s state broadcaster Rai is leading the way in the country’s international TV boom.
Though pay-tv Sky Italia and Netflix are churning out some edgier Italian shows for the international marketplace, the bold Italian pubcaster is now riding high after making a splash at the Venice Film Festival with the world premiere of HBO/Rai’s powerful female friendship saga “My Brilliant Friend,” based on the first of Elena Ferrante’s globally best-selling novels.
Next up are its buzzed-about “The Name of the Rose” series, starring John Turturro, and the third season of Frank Spotnitz’s hit “Medici” saga, currently shooting in Italy.
“My Brilliant Friend,” which Rai fiction chief Eleonora Andreatta started developing before the book’s big success, marks a milestone for Italy’s TV industry because unlike Sky’s crimer “Gomorrah” and Paolo Sorrentino’s “The Young Pope,” it’s classic highbrow TV of the...
