In the wrong hands, cliches are about the worst thing that can populate a film. Handled poorly, they just remind you all that can be wrong about cinema. However, cliches became that way for a reason, and are popular with some degree of cause. Mitchell Altieri, one half of The Butcher Brothers (The Violent Kind and The Hamiltons) and director of Holy Ghost People, has started on his next film, a horror comedy called The Night Watchmen. The story and screenplay were written by Ken Arnold and Dan DeLuca, who both have parts in the film, and Jamie Nash. The cast is being led by James Remar (Dexter), which also includes the aforementioned Ken Arnold (House of Cards) and Dan DeLuca (Veep).
