A movie sequel to “Zoey 101,” the 2005 Nickelodeon series starring Jamie Lynn Spears, is coming to Paramount+.
The streamer announced the film, tentatively titled “Zoey 102,” on Thursday. The movie, which will premiere on Paramount+ later this year, stars Spears and several former cast members of the series, including Erin Sanders, Sean Flynn, Matthew Underwood, Christopher Massey, Abby Wilde, and Jack Salvatore.
The original series, created and executive produced by Dan Schneider, aired for four seasons from 2005 to 2008 and focused on Zoey, a middle schooler who attends boarding school at the fictional Pacific Coast Academy in Southern California. The film will focus on a reunion between Zoey and her friends at a wedding.
Although “Zoey 101” was popular during its original run, receiving an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Children’s Programming for its first season, accusations about on-set drama during the series’ production have made the show’s revival a dicier proposition.

The cast of Zoey 101 is back together again! For an upcoming episode of Nickelodeon's All That reboot, the stars of the hit show - Paul Butcher, Sean Flynn, Kristin Herrera, Chris Massey, Erin Sanders, and Matthew Underwood - reunite for a sketch. Of course, it wouldn't be a Zoey 101 reunion without Zoey herself, Jamie Lynn Spears. In a sneak peek of the episode, Spears plays herself and her old All That character Thelma Stump.
Zoey 101 first premiered on Nickelodeon in 2005 and ran for four seasons before its cancellation in 2007. In July 2019, the cast sparked reunion rumors when they got together for a special dinner, and they confirmed the reunion later that year when they snapped a photo on the All That set. We've definitely missed the students of Pacific Coast Academy! Now if only Nickelodeon would make the show streamable on Netflix. Watch the nostalgic clip...

Although we still have no confirmation of a long-rumored Zoey 101 reboot, the cast of the show are getting together for another nostalgic reason: a new version of All That's sketch "Thelma Stump." Spears shared a photo on Thursday smiling alongside her former Zoey 101 cast members Paul Butcher, Sean Flynn, Kristin Herrera, Chris Massey, Erin Sanders, and Matthew Underwood on set at Nickelodeon. The all-new "Thelma Stump" episode will air in 2020, according to People.
To refresh your memory, Spears starred in the hilarious reoccurring sketch in the early 2000s as a stubborn bodyguard in her 80s named Thelma Stump who gave All That cast members a hard time. She'd often demand to see their pass if they wanted to access the set, and she was typically found in a rocking...

The Zoey 101 revival you've been waiting for…isn't exactly a revival. E! News can confirm Jamie Lynn Spears and her Zoey 101 costars are reuniting, but it's of an episode of Nickelodeon's All That. "This has been a long time coming! I'm so excited to be able to reunite the cast and be able to recreate so many amazing memories, but I'm most excited about what's to come in the future," Spears told E! News in an exclusive statement. Spears reunited with Paul Butcher, Sean Flynn, Kristin Herrera, Chris Massey, Erin Sanders and Matthew Underwood in an all-new version of the All That sketch "Thelma Stump." After a long, long, hiatus: Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.El.D. finally returned last night with quite the spring premiere as we pick up after the events of the mid-season finale last fall. There were two major things that I was looking forward to see in the premiere, one was the debut of the Secret Warriors character (someone that I wanted to see since last June) Elena Rodriguez a.k.a. Slingshot. As someone who has become a bigger fan of super-speed, thank to Tuesday night’s prime speedster The Flash, seeing Slingshot being introduced was a lot of fun. While the super-speed effects weren’t

Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. puts its best foot forward with its thrilling, globe-trotting mid-season premiere Bouncing Back…
This review contains spoilers
3.11 Bouncing Back
Cards on the table – I thought Bouncing Back was ruddy brilliant, for rather a lot of reasons. Rarely has Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. kept this many plates spinning at once without any of the plot strands falling a little flat. This week – very promisingly for the run ahead - absolutely every element of the episode was highly watchable.
Monica Owusu-Breen (who’s been writing for the show since season 1’s The Well) proved here that she truly understands the appeal of S.H.I.E.L.D., by jumping straight into the action. There was no sitting around faffing at base. Instead, we pick up with Mack, Bobbi and Lance when they’ve already been plonked into the field in search of a potentially dangerous new Inhuman.

The first promo for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. midseason premiere was released, and I have to admit, it is pretty dynamic and intense. The 30-second preview introduces new inhumans, inhumans again, and, oh wait a minute, even more inhumans. But there is also a lot of kicking, punching, and action just to keep things going the right way.
This footage focuses on one of the main storylines in for season three, the Secret Warriors, and offers a look at Elena Rodriguez, aka Slingshot, played by Natalia Cordova-Buckley.
Here’s an official synopsis for the mid-season promo:
When Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns, Coulson is more determined than ever to get to Gideon Malick and put an end to Hydra once and for all in the aftermath of his trip to Maveth. Meanwhile, Daisy and the team encounter more Inhumans who have powers like they’ve never seen before,...

We actually found out that Mexican actress Natalia Cordova-Buckley would play Slingshot about three months ago, but today it was made official, as Marvel announced the casting along with our first look at the character as she’ll be appearing on Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. when the show returns from its midseason break.
The official description reveals that this take on the Secret Warriors speedster will go by Elena Rodriguez, and not “Yo Yo” like her comic counterpart – though that could still be a nickname, of course. ComicBook.com (who broke the story) adds that she’s going to be “a street-wise Colombian woman who will be based on the Jonathan Hickman comic creation.”
In those comics, Rodriguez has super-speed much like The Flash or X-Men‘s Quicksilver, but unlike them, her power eventually slingshots (hence the codename) her back to the point she started running from. It remains to be...
