Genndy Tartakovsky doesn’t need to be told twice when it comes to animation. The medium of art is his second language and passion and the limits of all his artistic views and bottomless ambitions are contained within the constantly evolving stream. To make light of his work in the medium is to make light of his entire identity and his life’s work.
A still from Genndy Tartakovskyʼs 2019 interview with The A.V. Club
So Tartakovsky, in all seriousness, found it his mission to do justice by the medium of animation. From revolutionizing the art form in television to evolving his work with every successful project to setting himself up for a Miyazaki-esque reputation, Genndy Tartakovsky has redefined what passion can accomplish if it’s pure and determined enough.

Jon Snow may know nothing, as the famous line from Game of Thrones goes. But the actor who played him, Kit Harington, knows he is happy to step outside the hero role and flex another side of his acting chops.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actor expressed delight at taking on a different sort of character in the neo-Western, Blood for Dust.
Harington plays Ricky, a drugs and arms dealer, who works for a cartel.
“I rarely get the opportunity to play the Rickys of this world, the antagonistic dirtbag types, and I was excited to be presented with that opposite an actor like Scoot,” Harington said.
Harington adopts a mustache and American accent in the film. It’s all part of his plan to expand his range. While Harington won the role of Black Knight in Eternals, backlash makes it unlikely that he will reprise the character in future projects.

After he was forced to withdraw from the Masters Tournament earlier this month due to an injury, Tiger Woods revealed on Wednesday that he had to undergo surgery to fix a pre-existing condition.
“Earlier today, Tiger underwent a subtalar fusion procedure to address his post-traumatic arthritis from his previous talus fracture,” Woods’ team tweeted on Wednesday. “It was performed by Dr. Martin O’Malley at Hss Sports Medicine Institute in New York City. He has determined the surgery to be successful.”
“Tiger is currently recovering and looks forward to beginning his rehabilitation,” the message continued. According to FootcareMD.org, a subtalar fusion surgery, which addresses damaged joints near the ankle, “locks bones together and is appropriate for diseased joints that can’t be replaced. Once a fusion heals together, it acts as one unit and can restore function and provide significant pain relief.”

Update Sunday Am: Tiger Woods has withdrawn from the Masters Sunday morning just before the third round.
The tournament was suspended by bad weather Saturday. Even then, Woods seemed hobbled, the wet grounds making it difficult to walk on his surgically repaired right leg from a 2021 car crash. Woods, 47, barely made the cut for the third round.
“I am disappointed to have to Wd this morning due to reaggravating my plantar fasciitis,” Woods wrote on Twitter today. “Thank you to the fans and to @TheMasters who have shown me so much love and support. Good luck to the players today!”
Earlier: It was close, but five-time Masters champion Tiger Woods made the Masters cut Saturday for the 23rd consecutive time. That ties him with Fred Couples and Gary Player for the tournament’s longest streak.

Tiger Woods withdrew from the Masters before the resumption of the third round because of an injury Sunday, ending his streak of completing all 72 holes of every tournament he has played at Augusta National as a professional.
The tournament announced about 90 minutes before play began that Woods, who is still hobbled by the effects of the 2021 car accident that nearly cost him his right leg, had withdrawn. He’d limped through practice rounds early in the week and again during the first and second rounds, but the limp had become more pronounced as the weather worsened.

Augusta, April 9 (Ians) Brooks Koepka added one more birdie to his total to get to 13-under, even as his closest rival, Jon Rahm, slipped from 10-under to nine-under and the lead had swelled to four shots at the 87th Masters.
The play was suspended just as the lead trio approached the seventh green, which itself had a lot of water. That means the lead group, Koepka, Rahm and amateur Sam Bennett will need to play almost 30 holes on Sunday.
Augusta National officials announced that play will resume on Sunday at 8.30 am and the final round with players starting from first and tenth is expected to begin at 12.30 pm.
By the time play was called off, Koepka with a customary birdie on the Par-5 second — his seventh on a Par-5 apart from one eagle — had moved to 13-under, while Rahm, who started the third round at 10-under, picked a shot on...

Gurugram, Feb 22 (Ians) Stephen Gallacher finally gets the opportunity to defend his Indian Open title more than 1400 days after he won it as India’s national open returns to the Dp World Tour schedule for the first time in four years.
The field of 120 who will be playing for a record US$ 2 million purse has an exciting mix of proven winners and emerging talents at the stunning Dlf Golf and Country Club layout by Gary Player.
Gallacher, who became the first Scot to lift the Hero Indian Open, finished with back-to-back birdies in 2019 to win by one. The 48-year-old’s victory was his first Dp World Tour triumph since he won back-to-back titles in Dubai in 2013 and 2014.

Gurugram, Feb 21 (Ians) Robert MacIntyre is an elegant left-hander with a lot of grit and determination but still feels that the Dlf Golf and Country Club is going pose a stiff challenge as he sets out to win the US$ 2 million Indian Open trophy that his countryman Stephen Gallacher won at the last staging in 2019.
Saying the course would be a mental test, he added, “I would be amazed if you see double digits this week. It’s a mental test more than anything.”
Yet, MacIntyre had a hole-in-one on the 16th, which every player admits is the start of the three toughest finishing holes on any course on the Dp World Tour.
Sporting a big smile, MacIntyre said, “Yeah, on 16 I hit a clean 245 and like my caddy said just anywhere on that green. It was a full swipe with a 4-iron. It looked good, it was just right at the pin,...

Even though Agents of Shield and its loose connections to the Marvel Cinematic Universe seem to be a thing of the past, there still might be a chance for fan favorite characters to return if the circumstances are right. We’ve already seen Anson Mount reprise his role as Black Bolt from the short-lived Inhumans series in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and thanks to the ever-expanding multiverse of the MCU it could be only a matter of time before we see other fan-favorite characters appear.
Gabriel Luna, known for playing Roberto “Robbie” Reyes a.k.a Ghost Rider in Agents of Shield, recently told The Hollywood Reporter that he’s open to returning to the role, saying “It’s wonderful that people love Robbie and grew to love him as much as I did. Kit Harington is giving fans a hint as to where HBO's Jon Snow spinoff of "Game of Thrones" will pick up the story with everyone's favorite broody King in the North. Speaking at the official "Game of Thrones" convention on Dec. 11, Harington spoke about Jon's ending, and though he didn't mention the spinoff by name, he pointed toward where the show could pick up.
"Game of Thrones" viewers probably don't need a reminder of the show's controversial ending, but season eight wrapped up with Jon Snow deciding he wasn't going to try to claim the Iron Throne, despite the fact that he was a Targaryen by birth, served as the King in the North, and had a claim to the seat. Instead, after assassinating Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) - who was his lover, his aunt, and his queen - he went to live in the North, beyond the Wall, with...

Kit Harington entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Dane Whitman in Eternals. While his role wasn’t the biggest, it set the character up to become the Black Knight somewhere down the line. The post-credit scene of Eternals involved Dane Whitman finding the Ebony Blade, but so far there’s been no indication of when Kit Harington will be back.
While speaking with THR, Kit Harington said that he knew that his character might a future in the franchise from the very start. “I kind of knew that that might be a possibility,” Harington said. “I wasn’t that interested in rocking up in a Marvel movie just to play someone’s boyfriend. I knew of some future possibilities, so that’s always been part of the conversation. But like with anything, you don’t really know. We have not, it seems, seen the last of Sersi and the gang, as the Eternals are going to appear again in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The question is, when will they show up? And, perhaps more importantly, where are they going to show up? We will get into some speculation and analysis but first, let's go over precisely what we know.
Producer Nate Moore recently spoke with the folks at Comicbook.com, and amazingly enough, he was pretty straightforward when asked whether or not 2021's "Eternals" was the end of the line for those characters. "I don't want to spoil anything, but we have not seen the last of those characters," Moore said. So there we have it!
That answer does, however, leave much to be desired. Moore is incredibly unspecific. Not only does he not mention any specific projects or a timeline, but he doesn't touch on any specific characters,...

Peter Jackson's 1992 film "Braindead," released in North America as "Dead Alive," while certainly an object of intimidation for gore-averse cineastes, remains, at its heart, a comedy film. Jackson has spoken in the past about how "Dead Alive" was not inspired so much by raw, hard-edged gore films like "Cannibal Holocaust," and more by the whimsical violence of "Monty Python and the Holy Grail." A notable scene in the 1974 comedy classic features a bridge sentry, the Black Knight (John Cleese), getting into a swordfight with King Arthur (Graham Chapman). Over the course of the fight, his extremities are sliced off one by one, only to return to battle unfazed. While blood spurts copiously from each severed limb, the Black Knight doesn't seem to feel any pain.
When he is reduced to a mere head and torso, only then will he admit that his swordfight will now have to be declared a draw.

Tom Weiskopf, one of the stars of the 1960s and 1970s Professional Golf Assn. tour and later a broadcaster for CBS and ABC, has died at 79 of pancreatic cancer
An Open Championship winner and 16-time PGA Tour champion, Weiskopf was also a runner-up four times in the Masters Tournament in Augusta, Ga. He finished in the top 10 in 21 of his 71 major championships played.

With the snap of a Kevin Feige’s finger, “Avengers: Endgame” might not have been the end of Chris Evans as Captain America.
Disney+ series “Moon Knight” was set to include a possible series of cameos, including Evans reprising his famed, decade-long role as Steven Rogers. “Moon Knight” writer Jeremy Slater revealed to Discussing Film that the Oscar Isaac-led Marvel installment was prime for other MCU appearances, but ultimately the series opted to stand more on its “own two feet” in the canon.
“There were definitely different times in the writing process where we talked about cameos because cameos are one of the most fun things to discuss in a writer’s room,” Slater said, reflecting on the series. “What happens if we try to get Chris Evans back as old Captain America? You know, you sit there and play that ‘what if’ game among your writers.”

Lee Jung-jae’s writing, directing, and producing debut Hunt is a tricky film, a wolf in sheep’s clothing. At its heart this is a 50-50 blend of The Raid and JFK, but camouflaged in espionage procedure.

You might flip to the features, which include pieces on how a female athlete’s breasts can be an obstacle (p. 112) and why the 1,700-pound bucking bull Bushwacker “may just have the baddest body in all of sports” (p. 129). But you’re most likely headed straight to the nude photo spreads, which begin on page 51. (You’re welcome.) So you’re not “reading” alone, we’ll read along with you.

Chicago – I rage quit “Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14’” multiple times. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed it, and I think the franchise has put out quality games in the past, but when it came to putting in this year’s edition, it wasn’t uncommon for me to miss my hit window, short my putt, stand up, turn my Xbox 360 off, and storm outside in search of an adorable kitten to boss around. I mean, golfing has always been a frustrating experience - but in real life if you get a cart, a nice day, five or six (or nine) brews in the back of that cart, and some good friends, you’ll very likely have yourself a quality afternoon where you don’t care about what your stroke count was and how many holes you 9-putted.

Dublin, Nov 29: Neha Dhupia appears to be a fan of the Nelson Mandela. She owns a large collection of pieces of art having Nelson Mandela as the theme. Today she won in an auction bid a piece of art that is unique, precious, coveted. Neha was the only person from Bollywood to be invited to the 12th event of the Gary Player Invitational which is held in Durban every year.
There was an auction for Nelson Mandela's hand print at the charity auction. It was a keenly contested event and Neha finally won it. The amazing thing about the art piece is that it is a precious thing with the figure of Africa depicted in the centre of the hand of Nelson.
