Aaron Parrish was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He has been
performing all of his life. As a child Aaron studied Michael Jackson's
dance moves and showmanship which landed him his first commercial for
Buddy's Pizza impersonating the superstar.
In his teens, Aaron took up tap and jazz dance and later went to Cass
Technical High School where he entertained students and faculty by
performing in many dramatic and musical productions. While at Cass he
was the President of the Performing Arts Guild and member of Reader's
Theater. In his senior year Aaron appeared in the late singer Aaliyah's
video, "Age Ain't Nothin' but a Number".
After graduating from Cass, Aaron studied drama at the North Carolina
School of the Arts for four years. Upon leaving NCSA Aaron moved to the
Big Apple where he was featured in another music video by gospel
hip-hop artist, BB Jay. He put his singing abilities to the test as a
contestant on the long running Amateur Night on Showtime at the
Appollo. While Aaron did not take the nights top prize, he did make it
through Smokey Robinson's Crusin' without getting booed by the crowd
and swept off the stage by the Sand Man.
He now lives in Los Angeles, California where he is a working actor.
