Juliette and the Licks

Juliette and the Licks was a rock group from Los Angeles, California
that was fronted by actress/singer
Juliette Lewis. The band was
formed in 2003. Besides Lewis, the other members of the original
line-up were: Patty Schemel (drums), Todd
Morse (guitar), and Paul III (bass). Juliette and the Licks released
their debut EP "... Like a Bolt of Lightning" in October, 2004 on the
label Fiddler Records. The group's first full-length album "You're
Speaking My Lanquage" came out in May, 2005 on the same label. The band
not only toured many parts of Europe and America (they did a stint with
the tenth annual Vans Warped Tour in the United States), but also
performed at a concert in Hyde Park in June, 2006 as well as performed
at both the MTV Brasil's Music Awards Show in September, 2007 and at
the MTV Australia Awards Show in Sydney, Australia in April, 2008. The
group released their second and final album "Four on the Floor" in
October, 2006. Juliette and the Licks disbanded in 2009.
