Network 10 and Channel 5 have co-ordered an eight-part docuseries on the British Royal Family: The Royals Revealed.
Its the second content partnership between 10 and the UK free-to-air network since the completion of the ViacomCBS merger; the first being Fremantle’s four-part drama With Intent (formerly Breathless), shot in Melbourne.
The Royals Revealed will be produced by UK indie Back2back Productions and deficit financed by Parade Media Group.
Due to air on both networks later this year, the series will take viewers on a journey through all aspects of the British Monarchy, past and present. Focussed on the most influential Royal family members, the seriesb will unpick their personal stories to explore the bigger issues at the heart of the monarchy.

Rock bands New Order and Duran Duran will get the documentary treatment on Showtime later this month, the premium cabler announced today. Both films will debut Dec. 27.

New Order: Decades, part concert and part documentary, will follow the band’s preparations for the re-staging of album So It Goes, a collaboration with artist Liam Gillick and a 12-piece synthesizer orchestra during Manchester International Festival 2017. Mike Christie produces and directs, with Dinah Lord serving as executive producer. The film is a Caravan production for Sky Arts.
Duran Duran: There’s Something You Should Know is described as a candid look at the band’s career with previously unseen footage and intimate conversations with the original line-up: singer Simon Le Bon, bassist John Taylor, drummer Roger Taylor and keyboardist Nick Rhodes. Channel 5 has ordered a one-off documentary titled Web Cam Girls.
The channel is one of several international broadcasters to have bought the programme from Back2Back Productions.
The 50-minute film is a follow-up to Channel 4's My Phone Sex Secrets, reports Broadcast.
Web Cam Girls will focus on women who work in the webcam erotica industry, which is said to be worth around £80 million in the UK. User interests include women taking showers in baked beans and crushing toy cars in stilettos.
The programme was produced without a UK broadcaster in line, and was part-funded by distributor Electric Sky.
