Under their production company Pffr, Vernon Chatman and John Lee have made some of the most brilliantly and aggressively weird programming to ever air on television. Their children's show parody "Wonder Showzen," which ran on MTV2 for two seasons from 2005 to 2006, used the bright, chipper tone of a "Sesame Street"-style series to achieve dark, caustically funny moments -- like an apparently instructional segment on the importance of hand-washing that becomes an ode to Ocd ("The shame never seems to scrub off," notes the child voiceover). Since then, the pair and their collaborators Alyson Levy and Jim Tozzi have found a fitting home for their work at Adult Swim, where they've had first the computer-animated saga "Xavier: Renegade Angel," then "Delocated," a fake reality series about a man in witness protection starring Jon Glaser. Pffr's latest series "The Heart, She Holler" may be the most singular and strange yet, a...

In "Seven Psychopaths," the CBS Films action comedy debuting Friday, a struggling screenwriter inadvertently becomes entangled in the Los Angeles criminal underworld after his oddball friends kidnap a gangster's beloved Shih Tzu. That's a pretty cool idea, but can you imagine how cool it would be if cats did the kidnapping? Jim Tozzi, an alumnus of Adult Swim, took that flight of fancy and made this "Seven Psychocats" video. In case you're interested, the trailer from the real film, directed by London playwright and Oscar-winning filmmaker Martin McDonagh ("In Bruges") and starring...

If you had ever wondered what the "Seven Psychopaths" trailer would be like with cats instead of humans, well, here you go.
Seemingly for no other reason other than it's possible, Adult Swim alum Jim Tozzi ("Xavier: Renegade Angel") has reimagined and remixed (or is that meow-mixed?) the trailer for Martin McDonagh's new crime comedy with a feline cast. As is usually the case with these kinds of mash-ups, the audio remains unaltered, though the likes of Colin Farrell, Woody Harrelson, Christopher Walken, Sam Rockwell and Tom Waits have been replaced with feline counterparts.
For the record, it looked like the Walken-cat was going to walk away with this as our favorite member of the kitty cast ... until the Waits-cat showed up.
Check out a green band version of "Seven PsychoCATS" below, or head over to YouTube and indulge in the most definitely Nsfw red band version. You can...

Ah, the interwebz. All made of toobz full of catz: Catz in windowz, catz in boxes, unfortunate satanic catz, rainbow poptart Nyan Catz, and even a dubstep kitty. So imagine our non-surprise when we found the catz have left the toobz and taken over Hollywood.
Seven Psychopaths, a movie we thought starred Colin Farrell, Christopher Walken, Sam Rockwell, and even a bunny-toting Tom Waits, is supposed to hit theaters this weekend. At least we thought so until this little Jim Tozzi (Adult Swim) directed piece dropped into our inbox:

I will start this out with a disclaimer: I am not into the cat memes that are all over the Internet. Some are funny, but overall they are played out. But, I have to say that this new spoof of Seven Psychopaths featuring a cast of all felines has had me laughing my ass off for the past hour. The product of the twisted mind of Jim Tozzi,a veteran animation director for Adult Swim, this mash up uses the format and soundtrack for the Seven Psychopaths trailer but replaces all of the actors...
