- Joe Kaleo Gray was born in Kona, Hawaii and grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. Joe is a maternal descendant of General William Tecumseh Sherman. Joe is also a paternal descendant of Hawaiian King HewaHewa.
Joe began his career as a professional break dancer, at age 13. He began performing as a singer/songwriter in college, at University of Central Florida, where he was also a starting wide receiver on the football team. As a singer, Joe was named one of the Top 10 Independent Artists in the Country by Musician Magazine. He has five original music albums.
