Exclusive: Radar Pictures has secured the life rights to two-time World Series of Poker Main Event champion Doyle Brunson, with plans to develop a biopic on the legendary player. Brunson was the first player to win 1 million in poker tournaments and has won 10 Wsop bracelets throughout his career, tied with Johnny Chan and Phil Ivey for second all time behind Phil Hellmuth’s 16. He is one of only four players to have won the Main Event at the World Series of Poker multiple times. Brunson was the first of six players to win both the Wsop Main Event and a World Poker Tour title. In January 2006, Bluff magazine voted Brunson the most influential force in the world of poker. The new Netflix movie Extraction stars Chris Hemsworth (Avengers: Endgame) as Tyler Rake, a highly efficient mercenary who is dispatched to Dhaka, Bangladesh to rescue the teenage son of a drug lord from an even more ruthless one. With a big bad kingpin controlling the streets, Rake and Ovi (Rudhraksh Jaiswal) must fight for every inch of the way to get out of the city and make it to freedom.
Produced by Anthony and Joe Russo (from Joe’s screenplay) and directed by Sam Hargrave, stunt coordinator and second unit director on the Russos’ Marvel movies, Extraction is already getting a lot of attention for an 11-minute “single take” action sequence in the middle of the movie that takes Rake and Ovi on a frenetic chase that starts inside a car, weaves wildly through the streets, leaves our protagonists in a tenement building for a barrage of up-close-and-personal fights, and...

Magician David Blaine stunned onlookers at a New York restaurant by smashing a glass - and proceeding to eat it piece by piece.
The renowned illusionist was recently out dining with a group of friends, including professional poker player Phil Ivey, at the Tao eaterie, when Ivey asked Blaine to provide some unusual entertainment - in return for $10,000 (GBP5,000).
A source tells the New York Daily News, "David was doing a bunch of tricks, but Phil wanted to see something spectacular. He offered David $10,000 to eat a glass from the table."
So Blaine broke a large glass and then ate every shard, much to the horror of fellow diners.
And the star's representative confirmed that the stunt was genuine, saying, "This did happen and was completely real."...
