It’s been over 10 years since Dan Gheesling played Big Brother, but his presence is still felt on the show and within the fandom. Many viewers consider him one of the best Big Brother players ever. As a result, former and new houseguests constantly try to emulate Dan’s game. But now that the CBS reality competition series is (seemingly) a thing of the past for Dan, what has he been doing with his life?

Is “Big Brother” on Netflix? Yes. After being on the air for more than two decades, CBS’s hit reality TV show is finally available to stream on Netflix. However, as of this writing, you can only watch two installments: Season 10, which aired in the summer of 2008, and Season 14, which took place in the summer of 2012. If you’re looking for seasons other than 10 and 14, we suggest you check out Paramount Plus instead, as that streamer has the rights to the entire “Big Brother” catalogue.
Here is how the Netflix platform describes the addictive reality series, which is based on the Dutch program of the same name: “In the ultimate test of strategy and social skills, contestants spend the summer in a house under 24/7 surveillance, vying for a 500,000 prize.” Julie Chen Moonves has hosted the CBS show since Season 1 in 2000 and its iconic motto is “Expect the Unexpected.”

Big Brother contestant Kara Monaco found herself on the block for the first live eviction of the season. But after losing her teammate Jodi the week before, Monaco and her coach Dan Gheesling pulled out all the stops to keep her in the game. In the end, the 2006 Playboy Playmate of the Year was sent out the door Thursday, leaving Dan with just one player left in the game. The morning after her eviction, Monaco, 29, told People about working with Dan as a coach, Shane's flirtatious comments, and all about her pre-eviction speech to the house guests. Did you know you were going home?...

Kara Monaco was the first player voted out of the "Big Brother 14" house. She tells Zap2it in her exit interview that if she has the chance to go back in the house, she's not going to be Ms. Nice Girl anymore.
Did you enjoy Big Brother? Was it everything you were expecting?
"Yeah - I enjoyed it immensely. I think it was a great experience and I'm happy I did it. I just wish I could have stayed longer."
Do you wish you had come into the house a little more guns blazing? Been a bigger personality in the house?
"No, because that is just not me. I don't love to be the center of attention. I think it is better to lay low because you don't want to put a target on your back too early in the game. But, if I could go back in I would go in with guns blazing.

Big Brother 14 eliminated Sweet Kara Monaco tonight in week 2, Frank is new Hoh. Tonight's live eviction show, kicked off with footage that went down inside the house this past week, and fireworks definitely flew when Willie tried to keep Frank in the house, and Frank turned on him, telling the rest of the house that he was saying bad things about them, making fun of them, and so forth. At one point, Willie called Frank out in front of everyone, causing a huge argument and making everyone feel uncomfortable. Basically, this has been the busiest first week in Big Brother history with votes shifting in two different directions every freaking minute. After all the drama footage, the two eviction-nominated houseguests Kara and Frank gave their pitches to stay in the house. Then the houseguests casts their votes. Danielle,Shane, and Jojo voted to send Frank home. Joe,Ian,Jenn,Wil,...

It was a night of teaming, scheming & one surprise elimination! Do you think the right house guest got the boot? Twelve hopeful house guests piled into their new home on the July 12 premiere of Big Brother 14, and while they were probably expecting a few surprises, none of them could have predicted the doozy of a twist coming their way. Along with the 12 newbies, four former cast members moved in — Dan Gheesling (Bb 10), Britney Haynes (Bb 12), Mike Malin (Bb 2) and Janelle Pierzina (Bb 6) — to coach contestants for a chance to win an additional $100,000. And that wasn't the only twist! The house guests were also informed that, unlike in prior seasons, someone would be evicted on the first night. Coach Dan's team was the last to complete the first Head of Household competition, putting his entire crew — Danielle Murphree, Jodi Rollins and Kara Monaco — in danger. And yes, it was up to...

It's time to pick a winner before the "Big Brother 14" shenanigans begin with Thursday night's (July 12) premiere episode and first night of live feeds/"Big Brother After Dark." The last time Zap2it did this, we correctly predicted Hayden would win (though our alliance he would be with was way off).
Now, the twist this season is past hamsters returning as mentors (and we know who the mentors are, if you want to be spoiled). That will not factor in here, which will probably hurt our predictions, since some mentors will probably be better than others. But here we go ...
(Caveat: chef Joe Arvin is not included here. He was a last-minute replacement cast member, so we have not met him and therefore have absolutely no impression to use in predicting how he'll do).
Contestant: JoJo Spatafora
Odds: 12-1
Something about this girl rubs us the wrong way - could...

On "Big Brother 14," there are four girls who fit the "Bb" girl stereotype - young, very pretty, well-endowed. Out of the four of them, Kara Monaco is Zap2it's pick as the strongest competitor - she seems pretty with it.
Monaco was the Playmate of the Year for 2006, which is something she tells us she is not going to reveal to the houseguests. Her Playmate of the Year cover is below. Also, in case you've seen reports that she's related to former Playmate and "General Hospital" actress Kelly Monaco - she is not.
Kara tells us that she wants to be as honorable as she can, but she's not above making big moves if the game calls for it.
"I want to be as a honorable as possible, keep my integrity as much as possible. But it is 'Big Brother' and if you want to win, sometimes you have to...
