Foster the People have officially ushered in their next chapter with the announcement of a new album called Paradise State of Mind, which is slated for release on August 16th via their new label home, Atlantic Records. As a preview, they’ve unveiled the first single, the disco-toned “Lost In Space.”
“The record started as a case study of the late Seventies crossover between disco, funk, gospel, jazz, and all those sounds,” Mark Foster shared in a statement. “It was such a beautiful moment in time, when these different styles of music were cross-referencing each other — artists like Nile Rogers and Chic, the Tom Tom Club, and Giorgio Moroder.”
“Lost In Space” invokes moments of psychedelia, the space age, the anthemic of the ’80s, and dramatic disco strings, achieving that decades-spanning energy Foster described. “I’ll follow you anywhere,” the band sings on the euphoric, campy chorus. The track arrived...

Asap Rocky, Elliot Page and Julia Garner all posed together for a photo while at the 12th annual Lacma Art+Film Gala at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Saturday.
Rocky and Page both wore Gucci suits from Sabato De Sarno’s new men’s collection.
Rocky wore a black tuxedo and accessorized with a gray tie and black sunglasses, while Page contrasted with an all-white suit. Garner decided on a backless Gucci gown that featured a jeweled bodice and a bold slit.
Rocky attended the event without his wife, Rihanna, but the two were spotted after for a late dinner in Beverly Hills.
Garner attended the event with her husband, Mark Foster, where the two posed lovingly for photos. Foster wore a classic black and white tuxedo with a black bowtie. The two have been married since 2019, when they tied the knot at New York City Hall.

Julia Garner is one of Hollywood's brightest stars, thanks to major roles in "Ozark" and "Inventing Anna" that have cemented her in that pantheon. However, though you've probably heard of Garner if you're a TV fan, you may not know her husband, Mark Foster, who is more than just the guy sitting next to Garner at every award show - he's also a very popular musician.
Foster is best known for being the lead singer of the band Foster the People, which he formed in 2009 with his friend, drummer Mark Pontius, and, later, bassist Cubbie Fink. Over the past decade, the band have released three studio albums: their debut "Torches" in 2011, "Supermodel" in 2014, and "Sacred Hearts Club" in 2017." "Torches" and its breakout song, "Pumped Up Kicks," garnered three Grammy nominations in 2012 for the band. Emmy-winning actress Julia Garner went braless during Milan Fashion Week as she wore a stylish black jumpsuit that offered a plunging bustline.
Garner recently traveled to Italy to attend the Gucci spring 2023 fashion show, and she absolutely stunned.
Wearing her short blonde hair in a style similar to finger waves, the Inventing Anna actress also wore a long pearl necklace that wrapped around her neck, giving her a look reminiscent of the Golden Age of Hollywood.
The jumpsuit, made with black velvet material, fit snuggly around the New York native’s waist and bustline.
She opted for a simple makeup look, appearing to wear mauve eyeshadow with mascara and a pink lip shade.
“When I first tried on the suit, it felt very feminine and masculine at the same time,” Garner revealed to W Magazine about the style.

Julia Garner may be thanking her lucky stars and soon start striking a pose. Variety reported on Tuesday that Garner, an Emmy Award winner for “Ozark” and contender again this year, is the front runner to nab the highly coveted role of Madonna in an upcoming Universal biopic about the singer-actor-author-superstar. The film will be directed by the international pop sensation herself. (This will be Ms. Ciccone’s first time behind the camera since 2011’s “W.E.”)
Word is that Odessa Young, Florence Pugh, and Alexa Demie were among the many in contention for the role, before the “Inventing Anna,” “Ozark,” and “The Assistant” star pulled ahead of the pack. The casting process hasn’t been simple reads via Zoom, but a reportedly months-long process involving work with choreographers from Madonna’s team and singing sessions with the director herself. This project promises to be intense.

Last March, Julia Garner shot an all-day subway scene with 400 extras in New York for the upcoming Netflix series Inventing Anna. By the time she took off her wig, she heard production had shut down due to the pandemic. So, she flew home, fell asleep for a month, found two suitcases she hadn’t unpacked since 2018, and for the first time in four years, spent some extended time in her own skin. Which, as pale and platinum-curled and recognizable as that skin is, couldn’t be more different from the...

When Julia Garner took home the prize for best supporting actress in a drama at Sunday night's Emmy Awards, there's no doubt who her proudest supporter was: her fiancé, the musician Mark Foster. Julia gave him a shoutout in her acceptance speech, calling him the love of her life while he sat watching in the audience. Although her gorgeous engagement ring was clearly visible during her speech and while she walked the red carpet, Julia and Mark have kept their romance very low-key and out of the public eye. They've appeared at a handful of industry events together and occasionally show up on each other's Instagrams, but other than that, they're intensely private, and we definitely respect wanting to keep a personal life private! For a few of the sweet moments they have chosen to share publicly, keep reading.

Ozark's Julia Garner pulled off an upset win over all four Game of Thrones ladies in the supporting actress in a drama race at Sunday night's Emmy Awards. While she's not as flashy a headliner as some of her fellow nominees, Garner has pretty much been in all the things. And we're really, really not kidding. She's has been working in Hollywood for a decade now - here are a few things you should know about her.
She's starred alongside two film superheroes. Garner's first feature film role was in 2011's Martha Marcy May Marlene, acting opposite Elizabeth Olsen in her pre-Scarlet Witch days.
