Tim Aarons is a Music Supervisor, Music Editor, and Composer based in Los Angeles. A graduate of the School of Music at the University of Southern California, his two-decade career has had him oversee the music for thousands of episodes of television for numerous series including Forensic Files, The Girls Next Door, Biography, Ancient Aliens, The Curse of Oak Island, and Botched to name a few. Tim has also supervised the music for several independent dramatic films, multiple commercials, and a number of documentary films.
As a composer Tim's work can be heard in programs like My Cat From Hell, Ancient Aliens, Lockup, Gene Simmons Family Jewels, and Growing Up Supermodel.
After a brief stint working with the Trailer and Television Music Supervisors at Mob Scene, Tim joined Gramoscope Music in the summer of 2015. Here he's been involved in the music for several films, countless television programs, and numerous commercial and online projects. He's also been a key part of planning and implementing the growth of our music collection as well as bringing a Music Supervisor's perspective to the constant refinement and improvement of our online Music Search.
An avid concert-goer, Tim can be found almost every night at music venues across Los Angeles. He's a frequent contributor to several music blogs, most recently for Pass The Aux. He also attends countless festivals throughout the year and has been on industry panels for the M for Montreal festival, the Canadian Song Conference, and the International Documentary Association.
