Although History has made its name with documentary-style programming, they have had some success in the scripted arena, too. Of those series, Vikings has earned the best ratings, but the Six TV show did well enough to score a second season. How long will it be victorious? Will Six be cancelled or renewed for season three? Stay tuned. **Status update below. With four more episodes left to air, History has decided to cancel its gritty military drama Six.
Ratings have not been kind to the second season, but there were some big changes to the story of the ten-episode chapter in comparison to Six Season 1.
What hasn't changed is camaraderie between the characters on one of the few shows on television that currently features men supporting other men in a sea of programming that features women doing it all the time.
Six Season 2 began immediately after Rip was shot. The character was ultimately killed, leaving a hole in the cast left by Walton Goggins.
The Seal Team felt the pain of their former leader's loss and with Bear at the helm and the addition of CIA officer Gina Cline (Olivia Munn), began to scour Eastern Europe, infiltrating hostile territory and terrorist hotspots like Chechnya as they track the mastermind behind the...

Exclusive: History has opted not to order a third season of its Navy Seal drama series Six. The decision comes with four more episodes left to air from the 10-episode second season. They will run as scheduled. I hear the timing of the decision was tied to the cast options expiring at the end of this week.
Six was a breakout for History when it debuted in early 2017, drawing strong ratings and earning a Season 2 renewal ahead of its Season 1 finale for a 10-episode second season, up from the eight-episode first season.
Ratings have dropped in Season 2, running almost 50% below the Season 1 averages in Live+same day, which I hear was behind the cancellation decision.
History’s scripted series portfolio includes flagship Vikings, Knightfall, which I hear is gearing up for a second season, and the upcoming Robert Zemeckis-produced UFO series Blue Book.

Gina Cline is on a quest on Six Season 2 Episode 2, but it has nothing to do with finding Rip's killer. It just happens to be a coincidence that The Prince is the guy everyone is ultimately trying to find.
But is that even a true statement?
Michael Nasry is the mastermind behind Rip's murder. He acted alone, and using Marissa to go after the SEALs is his own doing.
That's the reason why he was getting beat up by Dragan on Six Season 2 Episode 1. If you remember, Dragan wanted to know how he was able to commit murder without pulling the trigger himself, and Michael kept his mouth shut.
At least that's how it's starting to unravel in my head.
None of the guys or their families are safe -- not as long as Marissa's around. She still intends to do Michael's bidding, and Gina is not asking Michael the right questions.

Watching Rip being torn apart by bullets on the recap at the beginning of Six Season 2 Episode 1 was as shocking as it was at the end of Six Season 1 Episode 8. Rip may have had his faults, but he didn't deserve what happened to him.
And the fact that it was a young girl from Oregon doing the bidding of the evil Michael Nasry makes the whole situation even worse.
How could someone turn against her own country so easily and without regret?
What is so compelling about Six is that it immediately grabs hold of you and doesn't let go. You can't tear your eyes from the action on the screen. The feelings of anger at what happened are real.
I want vengeance on the bad guys as much as the rest of the team.
The other great thing about Six is its amazing cinematography. Everything is so realistic that...
